A Steel Town Girl on a Saturday Night...

Blossom couldn't help but feel like Jessica was in for a rude awakening - things weren't quite as cut and dry and simple as she was making it out to be. There was some doubt in her eyes. She could see. She only hoped her fellow wrestler would be smart enough to take those doubts seriously.

"For your sake, I hope you won't be." She started to bundle her clothes up, getting ready to head out. "If you ever get in too deep, just call, okay? I'll do what I can to back you up."

Jessica stood up, ready to go take a shower. "Ok." She doubted she needed it, but if it would help assuage her doubts, then fine. Let Blossom be happy. Jessica walked to the shower with a quivering gait and turned. "I will. If you want to fight me again, or if you spot a good match for me, give me a call. I'll be around."

Jessica stepped into the shower room. Doubt started to show a little more on her face now. She steeled herself mentally. "No." she thought, "I will be the best. I am the best. I can win any belt I want." Jessica gave one last look at her sparring partner before closing the door. "Good night." she almost said. "Good bout." she almost said. Hell, she even thought about grinning to copy Blossom. "I'll be seeing you again, I bet. Soon too." she let the door close slowly and gave a faint smile to Blossom. "Probably really soon." she thought as the door swung close.
