A Steel Town Girl on a Saturday Night... - Page 5 Empty Re: A Steel Town Girl on a Saturday Night...

Blossom hadn't wrestled that many matches, maybe five or six, but it was enough to notice a definite pattern. Matches had a distinct ebb and flow to them, an order. They were sort of like a see-saw, swaying back and forth, each wrestler taking turns in control and trying to make the most of it before the other wrestler had their turn.

This was the part where things fell apart for Blossom, the moment where her opponent started gaining a foothold. If she wanted to have any success this time around, she had to learn to deal with it. She had to weather the storm.

She cried out as Jessica's elbow came crashing down into her back, making her arch up with pain before falling flat again. She hissed and ran her hand over the spot of impact, all while she buried her face into the canvas to hide the agony on her face. Blossom knew she had to move past and endure - if Jessica wanted her submission, she'd have to work for it.

Jessica moved quickly. No time to think. Act, don't react. She grabbed one of Blossom's arms and dragged her to the center of the ring. She knew this was a spar and grabbing the ropes didn't matter, but practice makes perfect. Or that's what they say. Her legs once again ached from fatigue. She gritted her teeth and let Blossom's arm fall to the floor. She had to keep pushing; she felt she had the momentum at the moment, and momentum was too precious to waste.

She stood over the downed woman and flipped her over so Blossom was supine. She got on the ground and grabbed Blossom's wrist and wrapped her legs around Blossom's arm. Then, with a mighty yank, she attempted to pull Blossom into an armbar. Truth be told, she didn't want to hear Blossom cry out her defeat to this. She just wanted to limber her elbow up for the pain that was about to come with the kimura. Jessica was many things, and one of them is a woman of her word. Her called shot would come, Jessica was certain of it.

Blossom was only able to put up some token resistance as she was dragged. It didn't help. Jessica was bigger, stronger, and a fair bit meaner, so until Blossom shook off the cobwebs, she might as well just be a particularly heavy trashbag. Wherever the bigger girl wanted her to go, she was going. Like it or not.

She was taken into the center of the ring like this was a real match, and while that move gave Blossom a good idea of what was about to happen, there wasn't much she could do about it. She tried to yank her hand away as Jessica set up the scissored armbar, but that wasn't happening, either. The pain was coming, and coming fast.

Blossom let out a shriek as Jessica pumped the hold, then bit down before it could become a full fledged scream. Her arm felt like it was burning and getting hotter by the second, hopelessly straining against Jessica's might. It was one arm against two, not a fair fight, and she needed to the even the odds. She began to bang away on Jessica's leg with her spare arm - not the greatest strategy, but the best she could think of. "Not. Giving. Up!"

Jessica felt Blossom flailing and thrashing and writhing in pain. Blossom's toned arm was extended grotesquely against Jessica's body. She had it locked in fairly tight and she knew the only way to get out of it. Until Blossom banged on her legs the same way someone with the exasperated fury of someone banging on a bathroom door when nature calls. She wondered if Blossom would bloody her knuckles against her legs. She felt them, sure, and it wasn't pleasurable but the punches were thrown in desperation and not impacting fully. If she could get another big hit in, the girl might be out for a little while longer. This would give Jessica time to set up her kimura.

"Good." she thought. "Don't give up, I'm not done with you yet." She let go of the armbar. She stood up and grabbed Blossom by her hair once again to bring her to her feet. If she could do that she would swing in a punch to her stomach. "I'm having fun now, but in a minute we're gonna have a riot.' she thought.

Blossom breathed a sigh of relief as Jessica let go of the hold, but she knew that would only be a temporary respite. Jessica just didn't seem like the type to give her opponent a coffee break. She was enjoying this too much.

She meekly pawed at Jessica's iron grip as she was hoisted up and roughly pulled to her feet, like a mother dragging along an unruly child. No sooner had she gotten solid footing than the purple-haired punisher tried to take it away again, throwing a heavy blow in her stomach and digging it in deep. Blossom retched, her spittle flying out on the floor, more than a few droplets landing on Jessica's shoes...but she didn't fall. She refused to fall that easy.

Growing desperate, she threw out a short kick and tried to hit Jessica's shin. Hardly a match ending move, but if it worked it might distract her long enough for Blossom to slip free and gain some breathing room.

The punch found its mark and Blossom bent over for a second. Just when Jessica was about to make her next move she felt an impact on her shin. Shin kicks weren't going to kill you. Hell they weren't going to break you. But what they would do is be really annoying. A stinging sensation reverberated throughout her leg and caused her to falter for a moment. She wanted to grab her leg but she refused to show any signs of weakness that Blossom may exploit.

Jessica was breathing heavily. Sweat continued to drip from her body. She gave Blossom a push. It might not have been enough to bowl her over but she wanted to give herself a few feet, and more importantly a few moments to figure out how to double this girl over. Jessica took a step or two back.

Jessica was tough. Too tough for the shin kick to make her falter much, but it did seem to annoy her enough to make her push Blossom away, and even though that meant she'd only get a few seconds at best to recoup, it was probably better than whatever Jessica was planning to do.

Blossom had a window, albeit a small one, and she was going to do her best to work with it. She went with the push, didn't resist, and bounced off the ropes. She was still hurting from Jessica's punch and her ground work, but she had enough left to just jump at the bigger girl's gut with a tackle, looking to turn her body into a human spear.

Jessica's eyes widened as she saw the smaller woman launch herself into the air. Blossom's shoulder hit her gut with a smack and Jessica ragdolled and flew backwards. She let out an "Oof!" as she hit the ground.

One or two more shots like that and Jessica knew she would be counted out. Jessica lay on her back for a second with stars floating in and out of her vision. Blossom's arms were still wrapped around her and she was brought back to the waking world. Showing some celerity despite her fatigue, she leaned forward and tries to bring an elbow down wherever it would fall.

Blossom's spear was pretty much a suicide move, but sometimes you get lucky, and this was one of those times. They both crashed down in a heap, with a sweaty Blossom flopping down on top of the even sweatier Jessica. It would have been a prime position to do all sorts of things to sway the match in her favor, but she was somewhat stymied by the fact that she coudn't move all that much at the moment.

Blossom started to push up, only to be greeted by a sharp elbow to the side of her head, sending her off to the side. She fel flat on her back beside Jessica, kicking her feet while she grasped her aching skull.

The collision with Blossom's head tickled her funny bone and nearly made Jessica yelp. But she was satisfied with the fact that it hurt Blossom more than it hurt her. This girl was tough, very tough. Not that she would ever say it. She had a whole lot of fight in her and Jessica respected that. Jessica decided it was high time to take a little of the fight of her.

She stood up on quivering legs and pinned all her hopes on one final move. A solid slam would probably give her enough time to sink in a kimura but there are only so many chances you get at a first impression, so Jessica decided to go for broke. She took a step over to Blossom and attempted to pull her up by her hair. If she could do that she would bend down and grab Blossom's thighs. After that, she could hit a proper Kinniku buster and it would be all over for this pipsqueak pugilist.
