NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: Ah! Sorry, I should have been more specific. I did mean serve, but both are good to know. Not much family history for me, though my granddad was Scottish, paratrooper in the British Army.
NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: What branch? I should have checked before I gave my MOS. I was Army.

NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: Well, after they drummed me out I had to find something to do. I had done amateur stuff as a teen, so I took what the army taught me and brought it here.
NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: Had two friends here, so it was a good fit. As for being the champ, most people here are more interested in how to take advantage of someone than they are in competing. A little discipline and a lot of respect go a long away. Plus focusing on the match rather than getting my pole greased helps....
NoMoreMrNiceGaius: Also I'm tall >.> but some of the girls here can kick my ass despite that haha.

Stone_28: being tall doesn't keep you from getting stomped. Helps make people to timid to try it, though.

NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: My whole life, all I wanted to do was join the military.
NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: After I got in, I realized I was a romantic who didn't know shit about war...but, I still loved my job.
NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: Going to school and was on track to make warrant officer and become a CID agent, actually investigate real crimes.
NoMoreMrNiceGaius!: Yeah, I really do miss it. Even thought about re-enlisting. But that chapter's over.

Stone_28: where I grew, Salt Lake, if I went back, I'd be getting stares the rest of my life.
Stone_28: but here, I've got my gang, I've got the AFW, and everything feels natural
