Carmen Rodriquez vs. Snowman

Locking the submission in place, Snowman would keep Carmen in the hold as best as he could. He would see that she wasn't quite used to having leg submissions done onto her, given that she always fought on her own two feet. Perhaps this is what he needs to win this one. Then, he would feel Carmen starting to use her own elbows to start moving herself towards the ropes.

It wouldn't be long before a rope break happens, so Snowman kept up the pressure as best as he could.

Submission holds. Carmen was starting to truly hate submission holds.

The pain was bad, but that wasn't really the worst of it. No, the most annoying thing was that she really had no idea how to get out of them. She was just trapped until she could get to the ropes, which took an agonizing time.

She finally mangaged to reach the ropes, but the damage had been done. Moving would be a pain in the ass for a while.

Snowman would continue seeing Carmen being in pain as she was making her way to the ropes. It took her a while before she actually reached them and held onto them before he released her. Snowman backed away to survey the damage and wondered how she'll move about when she's been used to fighting on her feet. Perhaps the Figure-4 made things a lot tougher.

For a fighter focused on moving on her toes, having her legs hurt was a serious problem, and she was starting to feel the effects.

She grasped the rope and started to pull up, thankful that Snowman was giving her sometime to recoup, since she needed it. Her legs felt jelly, just able to stand well enough to get back into her fighting stance - this time, she brought her arms parallel and held them up, in front of her chance, getting into a tight guard and beckoning him to come over and finish the job.

Not that she had much choice. She sure as hell didn't have the strength to go to him.

Snowman would gaze upon Carmen's stance and it looked like she wouldn't hold for long. It was quite a tight guard, but perhaps he can get through that without much trouble. Maybe he might even pull out one of his special moves on her to shake things up.

Without further delay, Snowman would charge ahead and attempt to fake out a punch to catch Carmen off guard. If this worked, he would also try to give a few punches to the gut before a left hook to turn her around.

The fake worked - at first.

The first two punches connected, slamming into Carmen's gut and drawing out breath, but she managed to get her guard down before the others connected and protect herself - if he thought he could outpunch her, he was in for a rude awakening.

The left hook came and she ducked under it with a quick drop, then threw out a low left hook of her own, this one aimed right below his ribs, trying to score a liver blow and put him down.

Snowman landed the first two punches to Carmen's gut quite well, but her guard kicked in at the next few. He would also go for the left hook, but his opponent ducked under it to give off a low left hook of her own. "GUUAAGH!!! Snowman coughed out as the punch hit the liver quite hard and it made him double over and stumble backwards. He would try breathing in and out in hopes of recovering fast.

Carmen had no intention of giving him that time.

She couldn't move to fast with her hurt legs, but thankfully he wasn't too far away, and in picture-perfect range, too. Doubled over, in pain, his face clearly exposed.

She managed to take a step towards him, wincing all the way, and ducked down to give him a thunderous uppercut right in the face, getting as much power as her aching legs could manage behind it.

As he was breathing in and out, Snowman raised his head up to see what Carmen was planning to do next. Unfortunately, it was a mistake that he shouldn't have done as an uppercut came in right in his face. "GAAAAH!!!" he cried out as he was launched into the air and landed hard on his back with a thud.

Snowman would growl and moan in pain as he covered his face and liver while rolling on the mat in pain.

And down he went. Solid punches in the face tended to have that effect.

He was tough, so it was hard to gauge just how much that punch had rocked his world. A lot of the power in her uppercuts came from her legs, and they weren't do so well at the moment. But there was only one way to be sure, and she put it to an immediate test, dropping on him and raising his leg for the pin.
