Battle of the angels

Seraph snorts at Rika as she staggers back once more, and slowly works to her feet. She then smirked softly before spreading out her wings once more and taking to the skt, daring Rika to come up after her. Her body also seemed to start glowing black as soon as she was up in the air.

Rika quickly healed the cuts on her arms, and flew into the air after Seraph. Her body was nearly completely exposed, since Seraph tore her clothes to pieces. She did not care, however, since she was focused on defeating Seraph. She reached out her hand, clenching her fist in the air. A bright light flashed, and s flaming sword appeared in Rika's hand. The sword is the weapon of the Cherubim, a weapon designed to destroy all of heaven's enemies. Rika held the sword in front of her, preparing to strike down Seraph with it.

Seraph snerked softly, the aura around her body growing stronger before a large ray of dark energy burst from her body, straight from the torso, and came flying down at Rika, ready to finish her off with this blast of demonic energy.

"What?" Rika said as the dark energy burst forth from Seraph's body. She held her sword in front of her, attempting to parry the blow. The energy beam struck her sword and pushed her downwards, her sword's flame dancing wildly in the force of the blast.

"I have to hold," Rika thought. She braced herself and pushed backwards, trying to hold off the destructive attack before it ended her.

Seraph snarled down at her, closing her eyes tightly, intensifying the blast to try and overpower the angel.

"No!" Rika felt herself getting overpowered. Her strength began to waver as the dark energy overpowered her. Her sword could not be held straight, and started getting pushed back. She soon touched the ground, pushed down by the force. She could not muster the strength to push back Seraph's strength.

"Is this it then?" Rika thought. Her sword slipped from her grasp and was blown away by the energy a second before she took the dark magic head on.

Seraph smirked and stopped the blast as soon as she was disarmed, and slowly started to float back down to the ground, crossing her arms under her chest. "Do you surrender?" She asked her.

Rika's body was nearly destroyed by the attack. She lay on the mat, the remnants of her clothes burned off, her wings charred and burnt. She could not even move. She was barely conscious, her mind entering lucidity and exiting.

"Will I give up?" Rika thought. She consulted Gabriel in her mind.

"Can you move?" Gabriel asked with unnatural concern, "I guess not." Gabriel became pensive for a moment. "The honorable decision is to fight to the end, but I can't just have you die here. Even if you give up though, you will probably not survive for long as this fallen angel's slave. Well, we still have the final option."

"Giving total control to you?" Rika asked. Gabriel nodded.

"If I fight Seraph, I should be able to win," Gabriel said, "I am, after all, a Cherub. However, I'm worried about you. You will change if I take you over, you can never be the same."

"That's ok," Rika said, "I'm dead, remember?"

Gabriel smiled, and filled Rika's body with her entire being. She took full control of every aspect of Rika's body, filling it with all her celestial energy. Rika's wings grew back and grew bigger, her body lifting off the ground. Her eyes opened, revealing irises that were blazing with golden light. The cherubim sword flew back into its owner's hand.

"Angel Nova Burst," Gabriel said, "You have defeated my proxy, but can you defeat me?"

Seraph's smile faded when the angel gains somewhat of a second wind and steps back. "Tsk... stubborn little bitch." She growled as she prepared herself for another fight, letting her own wings spread out.

Rika, now Gabriel, held the sword in front of her. The sword blazed into flame, brightening up the entire room. She flew at Seraph, her sword raised.

"Now die!" Gabriel yelled, aiming to drive the sword through Seraph.
