Rika VS Seraph - The Exorcism

Rika looked at the blurry photograph in her hand. It had been taken quite a while ago, on a cellphone, at one of AFW's matches. On the picture what appeared to be two winged women, one with shining white wings and the other with dark black wings, fighting. Rika had to get to the bottom of this. Who were these two people? Were they really angels and demons, or was it just a trick of the camera? The picture had mysteriously arrived in her e-mail inbox one day, sent from nowhere. Rika had to investigate.

Her instincts had led her to the AFW gym. There, she thought, she would find her answer. She meandered through the empty halls, until she ended in the main workout area. It was completely deserted. A foul aura hung over the room, like an evil spirit, or worse a demon, had decided to take up residence. Rika reached into her skirt pocket and touched the cross she carried with her. It gave her strength enough to overcome the fear.

"Is anybody here? Show yourself!" Rika yelled. The room echoed ominously.

Seraph sat on a bench with her eyes closed. She slowly breathed out through her nose, and seemed a bit troubled. She was contemplating everything that had happened to her at this place. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't think back on how swiftly her life turned around. How she cried for help, and no one answered. This process was interrupted, however, by the sound of a small girl's voice. She twitched an eyebrow before slowly rising to her feet, and approached the one that had decided to disturb her, looking upon her with stone grey eyes. "..."

Rika wouldn't have noticed the girl sitting on the bench had she not moved. Rika looked upon her, and felt her heart shudder. Her eyes especially unsettled Rika, their cold emotionless stare seemed to freeze any warmth she felt. Who was this girl?

Rika suddenly remembered the picture. She took a quick look and made a comparison with the girl before her. They bore a striking resemblence, even though the picture was blurry. Rika swallowed down her fear, and spoke to the girl.

"You are no ordinary human, are you?" Rika said.

"...Hmph. Don't you dare compare me with that filth." She hissed at her.

Rika was even more unsettled by the harsh voice of the girl. She beat down her urge to run away, and pushed some courage into her voice.

"Who are you?" Rika said, "I am an emissary of the lord, I command you to give me your name!"

Seraph snorted a little at the girl's command, but she decided to go along with it, for now.

"Seraph."

"Seraph?" Rika thought. In her mind, a second being took interest. Rika didn't know, but this being knew who this was now.

"Rika, let me speak to her," the being said. Rika didn't protest, giving over control of her body. Rika's body changed a little, her eyes became seemingly brighter, and her entire body seemingly glowed with light.

"I am Gabriel, one of the Cherubim Angels," Rika said, "You are, without a doubt, the fallen one I have been searching for."

Seraph narrowed her eyes at this. Was this some kind of joke? They try to reach her now?? She remained quiet, clenching her teeth behind her lips.

"Now come with me Seraph," Rika held out her hand. "Your failure has cost us greatly, but the lord is forgiving. If you come with me now, perhaps he will forgive your sins." She reached out to Seraph, expecting the girl to take the gift of forgiveness that had been offered to her.

Seraph raised her eyebrows at the offer. Surprise quickly grew into rage, as she drew back to backhand Rika across the face.

"You saw what went on! You saw me imprisoned by her, you saw her torture me relentlessly, and yet NOW you come?! I suggest you leave now before I do far worse to you than I've done to any human." She hissed at her.
