match rules:
A pedestal stands at the top of one of the turnbuckles. The other corners contain cabinets. Each cabinet contains a piece of the silver monkey idol.
Win by placing each the pieces of the statue together in order on the pedestal. (The winner is the wrestler who presses the head all the way down.)

A heavy silence hung over, the stadium as the restless roars of the crowd began to die down right before the sound of an electric guitar sounded from the stereo loudly. The crowd's cheers were revived by the exhilarating sound as light was restored by the spotlight that shone down revealing the purple haired fighter pointing skyward. Her green emerald eyes glimmering under the shadows of her bangs as she opened them slowly as the music began to pick up. Dressed in her trademark red outfit, from head to toe she began making her way down to the ring. The girl's slim and slender figure and that everlasting energetic aura around her that revealed her cheerful and optimistic personality. She began to make her journey to the ring giving high fives to the crowd before darting to the ring as she slid under the bottom rope. Rei would go to one corner and raise her fist getting a roar back from the crowd. Rei took it in, the deafening sound of the crowd, the bright lights that shone down on her, the chill that shuddered down into her spine jolting through her body as goosebumps fomed on her skin. She would do for each corner the ring had before the 2 minutes and 40 seconds of her theme finally died out as she would await at her own corner. Her eyes closed as she breathed in and out through her nostrils as she began to calm her nerves and reflect on her thoughts.

This was Rei's first PPV on AFW so she was a tad nervous, she wanted to give Mayu the best fight she ever had. However, she was slightly displeased, she had to fight Mayu because she was her team mate and although the two seldom had a chance to really get to know each other yet, she liked the girl. Mayu was sweet and the girl had made a bit of a name of herself since the pendant games began. Rei had learned a lot from these games as well, her striking had improved and she had gained experiences from the people she fought. She had lost more matches then she won but, every loss made her a better fighter. Yet, she still had much to learn.

'Teammate or not, friend or foe...' Rei thought to herself as she raised her hand and squeezed it into a fist, 'I'm not holding back... I'm not going to lose...'

Rei took the last few moments to look around her as she reviewed the rules and stipulations for this match. Behind her was one of the 3 cabinets and to her right lay the podium stood the pedestal in which the monkey had to be formed. The winner would be determined by who would form the monkey first. Rei had to admit these were very unusual stipulations for a wrestling match but, it sounded like fun.

The arena's light went off for a while until Mayu's [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKaJ6SagFJo:1t7a5g2l]theme[/url:1t7a5g2l] blasted over the speakers, causing a little uproar from the crowds. The short haired girl wore a white tank top, a short pants with two belts wrapped around it, and a pair of black boots. As usual, Mayu would skip towards the ring with her enthusiast look. Deep inside she was pretty nervous and excited.

This was her first PPV as well, and to be honest, Mayu never thought that she would have been included in such an even. She might have been in AFW for a short while now, but Mayu didn't think that she already made a name for herself as it was. Most of her matches in Friction ended up with her losing, especially during the Temple Games. That didn't matter anymore now, because she's here, and she's going to give it her best like always.

Once she slipped her slender figure inside the ring, Mayu would approach Rei with a big smile on her face. She already knew the girl since they're teammates during the Temple Games, but apart from their first meeting when the group was assembled, Mayu never really talked to Rei anymore. She thought that the girl was nice and all, pretty much similar to herself, which made her felt pretty excited in facing her.

"Tomizawa-san! Konbanwa!" Mayu greeted cheerfully, extending a hand. "This is... such an unusual match, isn't it...? But should be fun! Let's do our best tonight! Tee-hee."

Rei smiled as her opponent made her opponent made her appearance into the stage, the raven hair beauty was taller than herself and had the most cheerful tone in her voice. The Cosplay Fighter grinned as she met Mayu half way making her way out of her corner as she found the girl greet her. TIlting her head to the side she smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, I hope we have a great match! I won't be holding back! I hope you'll do the same." Rei said forming a fist before giving a wink offering Mayu a fist bump.

Afterwards, Rei would make her way back to her corner stepping back not taking her eyes off of Mayu before she inhaled trying to settle her heart which was throbbing in her ribcage as it pumped adrenaline through her veins. Her cheerful smile slowly began to dissipate, Rei felt the anticipation grow in her chest. Time stood still, Rei saw her pretty opponent look back at her, the sounds of the crowd escalate and subside like waves ebbing against the shore as her hand clenched the top rope tightly squeezing the familiar rubbery texture for comfort. Rei's green emerald looked across the ring with a reformed smile as she watched waiting on edge for the bell to chime signaling their match to begin. Rei lifted her back heel off the ground getting ready to run for the gate.

The belt rang, like a starting gun, Rei ran straight toward Mayu without hesitation but with a fearless battle cry. the crowd watched dumbfounded as Rei tripped over one of her untied shoelaces and fell face first into the mat in a spectacular fashion.

"Itae...." Rei said rubbing her head with a grin as the crowd chuckled at the slip up.

"Of course!" Mayu replied heartily as she clenched her hand to make a fist and bump it lightly against Rei's.

The short haired girl stepped back as well without taking her eyes off her opponent. The excitement already build up inside Mayu, and she had a feeling that her former team mate would give her one hell of a fight. The bell rang soon enough, and in that instant, Mayu's eyes widened as Rei immediately dashed at her with a loud cry... only to somehow trip over herself and fell face first to the mat. The short haired girl could only look with her mouth half open.

"Umm... you alright, Tomizawa-san..?" she asked with a tone of concern.

Some people might had take the advantage of Rei's own clumsy mistake and attack the girl while she was down. Mayu, however, thought that she'd rather have a fair fight and waited until the girl fixed her shoe laces to start again.

"Hahaha! I'm fine..." Rei said as she quickly rolled onto her bottom and tied her shoe laces before slowly making it to her feet. "This sort of happens.... a lot... Let's continue shall we?"

The Cosplay smiled as Mayu showed no interest in taking advantage of her slip up. She really was a nice girl, Rei then got back into her fighting position and would slowly began circling Mayu. She rubbed her head a little from the collision it made with the ring floor, it had made quite the audible crash. Being unpredictable as she was, Rei, ironically would begin with one of her finishers. Rei rushed at Mayu once more and stopped hard on her lead foot making a high pitched squeak as the soles of her shoe made contact with the canvas. Stepping in Rei lifted her leg and would try to catch Mayu off guard with a super kick right to the chin.

"Yosh!" Rei cried with a goofy grin on her face as she attacked.

Mayu smiled as Rei seemed to be fine and grinned at the mention that this kind of things happened often to the girl. When her opponent was done fixing her shoe laces and began to circle her, the short haired girl would keep a safe distance as she circled along with Rei. Soon, her opponent was rushing at her again, and Mayu thought that she's probably going for a strike. Rather than backing away, however, she decided to try timing the girl's move for a possible counter.

When Rei suddenly stopped, Mayu rised her arms in front of her face for defensive measure, slightly wincing from hearing the screeching sound produced by the Cosplay Fighter's shoe. The pause did disrupt her attempt to get the timing of her opponent's movement right, and when Rei stepped in for a kick to the chin, Mayu decided to fall backwards as she went for a dodge instead.

"Uwaah!" she would let out before her back connected with the mat to produce a less audible sound than Rei's fall earlier.

Mayu would quickly rolled backwards and got on one knee while still keeping her arms up in front of her. That seemed like a close call, and the short haired girl would look at Rei for a bit before smiling at her.

"Close!" she would say excitedly.

"W-wah!" Rei grunted as her kick missed by just a few inches, She would stumble back a bit hoping on one foot to regain her balance. However, the cosplay fighter had to keep up her offensive as was her usual strategy in most matches to attack, attack! Attack! After regaining her balance, Rei charged forward chasing after Mayu as she rolled away onto one knee. Being a submission specailist, Rei would of course love to keep the fight on the ground as much as she could. Finding Mayu in a defensive position as she was running towards her, she would try to skid around her rather than meet her directly. Rei would try to get the girl's back by wrapping her legs around the girl's waist and arms across the girl's chest diagonally like a seat belt to keep her from moving.

Mayu was about to get up and going for an offense when she watched Rei already closing down on her again. She decide to stay on her knee, thinking that it'd be easier to to go for a counter if the girl tried for another kick. When her opponent skidded to the side, Mayu also shifted her body around to try matching the girl's movement. When the Cosplay Fighter's legs came in as Rei tried to wrap them around her body, the short haired girl's eyes widened a bit and she soon found herself trapped between her opponent's legs.

"A-aah?! What are you...!" Mayu would let out in surprise before she would grab Rei's legs for a response.

She wasn't thinking of prying them off her body with her hands. What Mayu would do instead was keeping those legs secured as she would try to spin herself, dragging her opponent's along with her movement before she would attempt to toss the girl away from her. It was such a reactionary move and didn't really have a potential to cause any serious damage, as Mayu was only trying to free herself, at least from her point of view.

"Yaaah!" she would exclaim as she tried to get her opponent away from her.

"Weeeeee!" Rei giggled as She went along for the ride.

Rei clutched on with all of her limbs hugging Mayu's back like a Koala and although the spin rattled her hold, she still managed to hang on to to her opponent's back with her arms. There was some success as Mayu managed to break the hold with her legs before Reihad a proper chance to lock her ankles together. She pressed her chest tightly against Mayu's shoulder blades refusing to be thrown off her.The cosplay fighter had to give Mayu credit for effort but she'd have to come up with a better plan of escape. Rei would try to guide Mayu's spin by pulling back with her weight trying to force Mayu to fall onto Rei's back. This would make Rei grunt slightly as her she released her seatbelt hold and try to get her right arm across Mayu's neck and lock it in with her left arm squeezing her right palm between her bicep and forearm while her left hand pushed against the back of the dark haired beauty's head. In short, Rei was attempting to apply a rear naked choke/sleeper hold on Mayu by cutting off the blood flow from her head to her body trying to force her to tap out or pass out. All at the same time, Rei would try took her opponent's legs wit her own spreading her legs and giving her more control of her opponent's body.
