Nanako Jounouchi vs Toshio Akamatsu

To say Nanako Jounouchi was nervous would have been a tremendous understatement. As she stood backstage of the Tension arena in her white swimsuit which she used for wrestling, just waiting for hewr music to start up, she wrung her hands in anticipation. "I can do this," she whispered to herself, trying not to sound as nervous as she felt. "I can do this." The 6'3" amazon had good reason to be a little angsty about stepping foot into the Tension ring again. Last time she had mistakenly set foot in here she had been beaten mercilessly by a monster of a man in a leopard mask. It left a pretty good mark in her memory. This time, however, she was here on purpous, mainly on the advice of her new mentor; Sarah Gatt the Friction champion. According to Sarah, the only way for her to make up her horrible start in the AFW is to go back to the other leagues and establish clear dominance over whoever she faced, beating them so completely that no one would even think about doubting her again. It was a good idea Nanako supposed, but she was nervous about it anyway.

Nanako nearly jumped in surprise when her music started playing, shaking her head to clear all thoughts. She was here, and she was going to win this time. Sarah had taught her that she was stronger than she realized, and now it was time to show everybody that was the case. And so taking a deep breath, Nanako would step out onto the entrance ramp to a cheering crowd. The reception was better than she expected. It seemed many were happy to see Nanako was back in the Tension arena, wondering just what the amazon could bring to the ring this time. Nanako would be sure not to dissapoint them. She made her way to the ring, waving at a few people here and there, a shy smile on her face. Despite her dismal record it still felt good to walk to the ring. It made her feel like a real bigshot.

Upon reaching the ring Nanako would climb inside her, her powerful body slipping through the ropes and heading to her own corner. It was from there that she would start to stretch herself out, preparing herself for what could be a really tough match. "I hope they don't set me up with another guy in a mask," Nanako muttered worriedly. Steeling herself for whatever may come, Nanako would turn her gaze to the entrance, wondering just who she would face.

As Nanako watched, another set of theme music began to play, and her opponent arrived. His arrival was heralded by a mixture of cheers, boos...and curiously, a few chuckles as Toshio Akamatsu walked down the ramp. His powerful frame was covered by his usual pair of red trunks with matching pads and boots, and his long-ish hair was framed by his standard red headband. As usual, he was confident and grinning as he walked down the ramp, jokingly gesturing and posturing to his fans as he went along.

Despite all of his posturing, he was conscious of some of the fans' laughs. His humiliating loss to Lisa Giordanni was still fresh in his mind, especially after he had styled himself as "the Amazon buster." He needed another win if he was going to retain any face in this league, he knew, otherwise he'd be nothing more than one big walking joke. If that happened, then his stepping out of his brother's shadow would have all been for nothing.

As he slid under the ropes, he got a good look at his opponent. She was just as tall as he was, but with an incredible body clad in a form-hugging white swimsuit. Toshio's heart skipped a beat, and he smiled as he stepped up towards her. "Well hi there," he said charmingly. "I don't think we've met." He gave a half-exaggerated bow. "I'm Toshio Akamatsu, and I'll be pinning you this evening."

Nanako watched her opponant come down from the ramp and she was slightly relieved to see he wasn't wearing a scary mask. "He looks strong, though," she muttered worriedly. He was almost as tall as she was, but she still managed to maintain a few extra inches on him. Maybe she wasn't ready for this after all....

Nanako quickly shook her head to dispell such thoughts. No, she couldn't be thinking like that now. Sarah had sent her here for a reason. To show the Tension league she wasn't just a one hit wonder that could be tossed around my the males. She was a powerful wrestler, and it was time she showed everybody that. Even if this guy was strong she would have him laying unconscious at her feet, just like Sarah taught her!

When her opponant, Toshio apparently, entered the ring to greet her she gave a nervous wave back, fidgeting with her hands. When he gave his mocking comment however, she thought she better say something back as well so as not to look like a pushover. "W-Well, I'm Nanako Jounouchi. And...and I'll be the the one pinning you! I mean, knocking you out! Yeah, that's it! I'll be knocking you out!" The amazon pointed at Toshio dramatically but came off more cute than anything. The bell would then ring, declaring the start of the match. And possibly the start of Nanako's new career.

Toshio suppressed the urge to laugh. As physically intimidating (and arousing) as Nanako was, her nervousness was very plain to see-- unlike Haruka and Lisa, she was still a rookie and still very uncertain of herself. He almost pitied her, but he had a match to win. "Don't worry babe, you knock me out already without even trying," he said with a grin, not particularly caring how bad his pickup lines were.

Her name, though....something about it sounded familiar. If he'd heard of her before somewhere, though, he couldn't remember where and when. Oh well, it probably wasn't important.

Coincidentally, the bell rang the moment he spoke. He instantly moved into a crouch and began to circle her, arms raised. He continued to smile at the amazon as he motioned for a test of strength, wanting to see just how strong she was.

Nanako, innocent and naive as she was, didn't entirely understand what Toshio's comment meant, oblivious to the fact that he was attempting to pick her up. Regardless of what he was trying to say, she would hear the sound of the bell and would prep herself immediately, hunkering down into a grappling stance and eyeing Toshio warily. Last time she had her guard down here she was abruptly attacked and tortured for several minutes. There was no way she was going to go through that again!

Eyeing Toshio warily she would circle him as well, wondering if she should make the first move or not. Toshio would end up making the decision for her by offering up a test of strength. This was something Nanako could do. In the last couple of dats Sarah Gatt had shown her just how powerful she truly was. And so without hesitation she would bring her hands up to Toshio's, entwining her fingers with his to hold them tightly. Then she would start pushing down on him with all her might. Nanako would grit her teeth as she poured her strength into the hold, and Toshio would soon feel like he was trying to hold back a frieght train as Nanako displayed her abnormal strength.

Toshio eagerly locked up with Nanako, eager to start off this match with a nice grapple in the centre of the ring. He soon had second thoughts, however, when he discovered just how strong Nanako was. His eyes widened as he found himself being forced back, the girl pouring out an incredible amount of pressure even for someone of her size. Gritting his teeth, he pressed his heels against the mat and pushed back, his forehead resting against Nanako's.

"Not...bad..." he said with a wry grin. "My turn, though." Shifting his grip, he would slip under Nanako's arm and spin behind her, wrenching her arm behind her back. Following up, he would use his free arm to slide around Nanako's forehead and trip her heel, dropping backwards to ram his shapely opponent head-first into the mat with a stunner.

It was clear almost immediately after Nanako locked up with Toshio that she was the more powerful wrestler in the ring. Her strength simply outmatched his. With her size and weight advantage over the slightly smaller man she was steadily gaining ground in the test of strength. The crowd was going wild as they watched her overpower her male foe, and Nanako felt spurred on to win this match. For the first time since her match with Makie all tohse months ago she felt the crowd was on her side.

But Toshio, probably sensing he could not win the test of strength, would release one of her arms and twist the other one behind her back, trapping her with a hammerlock. "AH!!" Nanako yelped in pain, Toshio now ending up behind her. Barely two minutes into the match and she was already in a compromising position. Nanako grit her teeth in frustration. The crowd was cheering for her only a second ago. She couldn't let them down now!

And os before Toshio could trip her up, Nanako would attempt to run backwards, using her sueperior size and momentum to try and backpeddle Toshio straight into one of the turnbuckles, hoping to crush the man between it and her.

Toshio had figured that he would have a good skilll advantage of this rookie. He was taken by surprise, however, when Nanako reacted quickly, rushing backwards while Toshio still had her arm. Before he could slip free, his back was slammed hard against the turnbuckle, causing pain to lance up his spine.

"AAAGH!" he cried, arching from the impact...and feeling Nanako's curvvy backside against his. He blushed as he realized that, in the process of arching, he had ground against Nanako suggestively.

With Nanako's size and weight it was a pretty large impact that Toshio would be caught in, crushing between the hard metal pole and Nanako's powerful body. Nanako may be a rookie, but in the past couple of weeks she had been trained by one of the best fighters in the AFW. And while she had little ring expereince in the terms of winning she was ready to show these people she was just what she could now. Her power would not go to waste anymore.

After smashing Toshio into the corner Nanako would withdraw herself from the corner, leaving Toshio to writhe in it. But she wouldn;t just be leaving him there. Wuickly turning around to face the manm she would grab his arms, and would drape them over the top ropes to keep him upright. If she managed that, Nanako would stick close to Toshio as she prepared her next move. "Here it comes," she warned hhim, right before she would rocket a harsh knee into Toshio's stomach. And another, and then a final third one. Consideringthe amount of strength Nanako had at her disposal, each knee to Toshio's abdomen would feel like a cannonball.

Toshio caught his breath, trying to put the smarting in his back out of his mind. "Damn...girl..." he rasped as Nanako stepped away from him, "you're...something else..."

Mindful of the fact that Nanako was backing away from him, Toshio realized he would have to move. Gingerly, he tried to spin out of the way as Nanako launched her attack. If he was fast enough to avoid Nanako's kick, then he would try to take the opportunity to drop down, grab at her free leg and trip her forwards to fall head-first into the turnbuckle. Otherwise, though, he would be caught dead in Nanako's brutal knee-strikes, which would be enough to leave him slumped and moaning in the corner.
