Bullet Ant vs Jamie Valentine

Almost there...

Almost therrrre...

Jamie flailed her arms at the ropes, only inches away from them, or at least it seemed like inches, when suddenly she was spun around and flung onto the mat.

"Eyaaaaagh!" She shrieked and immediately curled into the fetal position, holding her twisted-up leg. It felt like Bullet Ant had almost twisted her knee right off. "Owwww! God! Why would you DO that! I wasn't even looking!" She wailed as she began to push herself pitifully along the mat for the ropes, which were admittedly more than just a few inches away.

Bullet Ant winced as her back hit the mat but she smiled, knowing with the shriek that Jamie definitely got the worst of that exchange. "It only gets worse from here!" She declared as she picked herself up and tried to grab Jamie by the legs, pulling her away from the ropes before trying to slip her leg around and turn over her opponent, looking for a sharpshooter.

Jamie left claw marks in the mat as she was dragged off the ropes, and her eyes widened when she saw what Bullet Ant had in mind.

"Oh no! No! No no no no no no no!" She held up her hands, palms out, to Bullet Ant and then planted them on the mat as far to either side as she could to help keep from getting rolled. She kicked her legs frantically, trying to catch Ant in the kneecap. It was her only hope, really, there was no way she'd be able to escape such a hold on a technical level.

Bullet Ant was trying her best, grabbing Jamie by the legs and holding on, even as Jamie tried to kick her away and block the hold. Struggling to keep hold of her she eventually started to turn her opponent over, do a lot of damage to her back in payback for pretty much everything she did this match, not noticing just how close Jamie was getting to the ropes as she tried to get away.

"Nonononono!" Jamie pleaded as she was slowly turned over onto her stomach. She screamed in pain as Bullet Ant tied up her legs and bent them back and sat down on her back. She was flexible enough, but it felt like her spine was going to break in half.

She pounded the mat with her fists and covered her face so no one could see how much pain she was in and how close she was to crying already. She tried to claw her way back to the safety of the ropes as the ref girl knelt next to her and asked her if she wanted to give up.

"NOO!" She screamed. She buried her face in the mat for a moment, and then resumed her quest for the ropes, reaching out for them every few inches. She was getting close. She moaned both out of pain and despair as it seemed like she'd never make it.

"STOP!" She wailed pitifully.

"YesyesyesyesYES!" Bullet Ant hissed in victory as she finally turned Jamie Valentine over and squatted down: Trying to bend the smaller fighter in a way people weren't supposed to bend. Pulling back on her legs she could taste victory on her lips. "Just tap out and I'll let you go, it's real simple!" She said, trying to encourage Jamie to end it quick, she didn't know how long she could last with her wailing away like that.

That and her knee was starting to come into play. Standing up and catfighting it wasn't an issue, but trying to keep low was really putting pressure on it, the faster Jamie tapped, the less this would come back to bite her

Jamie grunted and whined her way closer to the ropes, until she'd had enough. She reached for them, but was still an inch or so away. She reached as far as she could for them.

"Ropes! I'm on the ropes letgoletgoletgo!" She screamed, hoping she could at least get Bullet Ant to ease up for a second before the ref informed her that she wasn't actually on the ropes. Then a burst of effort should bring her the rest of the way to the ropes and to the sweet, sweet rope break, preferably before her back broke.

"Come on... come on..." Bullet Ant chanted as she was slowly pulled back, trying her hardest to get the submission victory before Jamie called out to her, trying to tell her that she got to the ropes.

"Wha-?" She gasped, easing up and trying to see if she was telling the truth before the last burst of effort toppled her. The masked wrestler fell over, the surprise pull to the finish taking away her slightly shaky balance, allowing Jamie full access to the ropes

Jamie triumphantly grabbed onto the bottom rope and wrapped her arms and legs around it like she never wanted to let go. Eventually she would have to, though, so she opted to slide out of the ring onto the floor below where she hobbled a few steps, stooped over and holding her hurt back.

"You can't beat me with a stupid submission hold! I'm invincible!" She boasted unconvincingly given her current state.

As she fell on her side, leg giving way for what she thought was a rope break, she looked to see Jamie just grab the bottom rope and hold onto it for dear life. "I can't believe I fell for that..." The masked grappler groaned. Well at least the small break was giving her another bit of time to soothe her aching knee while Jamie slipped out.

keep talking... she thought to herself. She had a plan, it probably wasn't a very good one and thus far had only a 50% success rate, but a plan none the less. Pulling herself up with the ropes, she then tried to jump over on one foot, using the top rope to sling herself over and onto Jamie with a high cross body. Now she just had to hope that her sharpshooter meant she couldn't run very fast.
