Ranked Match for #9: Chigusa Yuuki Vs. Adrian Kytes

When Adrian was whipped off into the ropes, an idea came to mind. It was a stupid one probably but if it hit then she'd get a huge rush of confidence back, it'd look pretty cool and... well it was all that really came to mind.

Before she hit the ropes at the other end she ducked down and planted her hands on the mat just before them, her body turning and bouncing off the ropes upside down, allowing her to when she got back upright use the momentum gained to jumped backwards and hopefully catch Chigusa in the face with an elbow, hopefully. If she'd moved forward enough.

Chigusa thought she had Adrian with that attack, but before she knew it, Adrian had bounced off the ropes and flipped over, coming down at her with a handspring elbow! "What the-" Chigusa said, before getting silenced by an elbow right to the face! The blow knocked Chigusa off her feet, making her land hard on her back, stars in her vision from that hit. Chigusa shook her head, one hand on her forehead where the elbow hit, a head-splitting headache rattling her. This was a pretty nasty blow.

A rush of adrenaline filled the cosplayer as her elbow made a satisfying "clunk" sound when it smacked the idol in the head, Adrian picking herself up off the ground with a somewhat sinister smile on her face, much to the nervousness of the Amazon at ring side. Rebecca had no idea what had happened to Adrian, really only 2 people knew intimately what had made the cosplayer change from bubbly to... more sinister and smug. It wasn't just the ranking announcement or the declaration of war. Something else was going on, the Amazon could tell. She just needed this match to end quickly to find out more.

Adrian however pressed her advantage. Moving to stomp down on each of Chigusa's limbs to weaken her offence slightly before planning something bigger.

Chigusa groaned, almost out of it when Adrian came over and stomped on her arm. That brought Chigusa around. The idol wailed in pain, but her fast thinking instincts made her counter quickly, her other hand shooting around to grab Adrian's ankle and pry her foot off her arm. Chigusa's arm was hurting, but she still countered, grabbing Adrian's ankle and twisting it sharply to the side, hoping to really hurt her and also send her crashing onto the mat! Chigusa could tell Adrian was out for blood this time, and if she didn't bring some of her own more brutal techniques, she could not win!

"Ah!" Adrian shouted, she hadn't got around to stomping around every one of the idol's limbs before being pulled down, falling flat on her ass. "dammit..." she groaned, trying to pick herself up and put some distance. Chigusa was very quick of the draw, and had a lot more experience.

This was going to be very tricky to deal with.

Chigusa's arm was all sore from that stomp, but she wasn't letting the pain slow her down. Granted, she had to let Adrian go insteas of really punishing her, but she had swung the momentum partially back into her favor again. She slowly began to get up as well, trying to remain alert, though her head ached and her arm was sore.

Once Chigusa was standing though, she quickly moved into action. Stepping forward, she would attempt to send a kick straight at Adrian's side.

Adrian was still recovering when Chigusa kicked her in the side, forcing the cosplayer to roll away from the idol in pain. But Adrian wasn't going to let it be completely one way traffic, when Chigusa tried to get her while she was in the ropes she'd get a semi-nasty surprise.

Only semi-nasty.

It kind of depended how good she was at falling out of the ring.

After delivering her kick, Chigusa did run in to try and clothesline Adrian hard right over the ropes! But as she did, Adrian suddenly jumped down, grabbing the top rope, which caused Chigusa to completely overshoot herself. She flipped over the rope and fell down hard, though she managed to break her fall a little by grabbing the bottom rope, so she didn't slam completely into the concrete. This annoyed the idol more than hurt her.

Chigusa immediately turned around, reaching into the ring to grab Adrian's arm, and yank her out of the ring as well!

"Ha!" Adrian shouted when Chigusa tumbled over the top, even if she did break the fall somewhat it felt good to see the idol take a tumble. It wasn't so good to see her back up so quickly and pulling on her arm. "Ah!" She shouted back, grabbing the ropes firmly to prevent herself from being pulled out shrieking "Let go!" as she held on for dear life.

She couldn't hold out forever though, Chigusa would get her on the floor one way or another that sounded a lot dirtier than I thought it would so had to act fast. If she couldn't stop herself going out, she could at least try and get something out of her. Pulling back on the bottom rope, she waited for Chigusa to give her an extra pull, then she'd use that momentum to catapult herself out of the ring, and hopefully collide with the idol on the way out.

Chigusa pulled hard on Adrian, trying to get her out so she could start going to town on her. But Adrian resisted quite a bit at first, until Chigusa dragged her partially out of the ring already. She smiled, pulling a bit harder to get Adrian fully out of the ring. What she didn't realize was that Adrian had a trick up her sleeve!

Adrian suddenly released the rope, and shot out of the ring. Since Chigusa was right in her way, she had no time to dodge. Adrian slammed into her chest, knocking the air out of her and sending her onto the hard concrete. Chigusa lay there, coughing, one hand over her eyes while the other still gripped onto Adrian's arm.
