Joey Jericho vs. Songbird

"Not to mention all night." Songbird said as she inched a little more closer, still in her fighting stance. If she got up close enough, she would go for a quick slap across Joey's face to try and intimidate him. She has to be on her guard though.

Joey smirked slightly it seemed as thought SOngbird eas taking the bait but thensomething rather unexpected happened. She slapped hims across the face. He let otu a growl he wasn't going to be taken back by that move unstead he would try and return the slap before aiming to lift her over the top rope to cause a little more damage.

Songbird felt the slap against her own face, but stood her ground. As soon as Joey lifted her up, Songbird would try to shake herself free and keep hitting him with her fists. "Hey, put me down!" she cried out before going onto the top rope. "Just what are you trying to do?"

Joey was getting beaten around by Songbird as he tried to lift her over the ropes. The punches were slowly making him feel slightly dizzy. Giving one lasy push he wasn't sure if she would go over the top rope down to the floor or if he would even get her up. "You going over whether you like it or not." he growled. It was the one way he could do quite abit of damage and follow up fairly easily.

Songbird felt herself about to be off of the top rope and going to hit the floor. But she would try to grab onto a bit of the middle and bottom ropes to lessen the impact once she hit the ground. She would moan as she rubbed herself from the pain, but she had to be aware of the fact that Joey could get onto her at any moment.

Joey let out a smirk as soon as Songbird went over the rope. A little breathing space. He wasn't much for high risk but he could do simple things and whats exactly what he was going to do. He would run to the the turnbuckle closest to where she had landed using the middle one to push himself back over the ropes hoping to land on her while she was dazed.

Songbird was still trying to recover from the flip over the ropes when she saw Joey trying to launch another attack on her. This time, he would try to land on her by running to the nearest turnbuckle to her and going over to push himself back against the middle rope. But before he could do that, she would try to get out of the way by backing off and then attempting to punch him directly in the back as he's on the middle rope.

Joey was aiming to fire himself over the top rope although it seemed as though Songbird had gotten there first. He felt her punch arching his back wincing slightly as his hands lost their grip on the top rope. Galling back he got tangled on the top rope for a a few seconds before crashing to the mat inside the ring.

Seeing that her move had worked, Songbird would jump back into the ring through the ropes. Hurrying before Joey could get up, she would try to quickly sit on his back and put his arms over her knees. If this worked, she would grip at his chin and pull back to apply a camel clutch.

Joey rolled himself over as Songbird got into the ring. He ended up on his back with Songbird sat on his stomach. At least he guessed that would stop the camel clutch she was going for now. He threw one of his hands down his body towards her gut hoping that would be a destraction so he could roll them both over.
