Joey Jericho vs Red Knight (For Dynamo44)

Joey let out a growl he should have seen that one coming. Actually he had always been weary of that move ever since Red Knight had done it on him the first time. He aimed to throw his weight back to help cancel out the momentum. Using his agility he would aim to Lift himself only enough to get his body so far to clear his opponents feet aiming to drive his feet onto his chest with a double footed stomp before rolling forwards past his head.

Red Knight could see that Joey wasn't in the mood to get beaten by the same old tricks and he saw that he was going for a stomp to his chest. He would try to block that stomp and push him off hard with all his might. If that worked, he would quickly go for a mixture of a kick and a kickflip to try and launch his feet into Joey's stomach to try and knock him over.

Joey let out a growl it seemed that his boots were about to be blocked so he opened his legs just alittle so only one of his boots would be blocked. he was sure that Red Knight wouldn't be anticipting that. and hopefully it would wind him long enough for him to come up with another strike. He quickly got to his feet after the roll hopping up onto the middle rope aiming for a cross body. Joey wasn't much of high flyer but he could get air when he wanted to.

Red Knight would try to get up as Joey got onto the middle rope. Seeing that he was going for a cross body, he had to think fast. This kind of slam will be a heavy impact to other opponents. So as Joey went for a cross body, Red Knight would steady himself and try to duck and go for a rising spear directly into Joey's stomach. If this worked, he would slam him down and go for a pin.

Joey was surprised when Red Knight reacted so quickly letting out a grunt as he hit the floor dazed and winded. He could feel his body slide over his. He blinked a few times letting out a low groan. It seemed like everything he tried was countered and he couldn't string together a good offensive attack at all.

Seeing an opportunity, Red Knight would get down to Joey and try to raise his leg up for a pin. He knew that the match won't end here yet, but he wanted to at least give Joey a time to recover.

Joey at the moment was staring at the lights above him. He heard the mat hit twice and out of instinct he barely got his shoulder up in time. He let out another growl as he tried to snap himselfout of the daze the move had put him in.

Red Knight would quickly put down Joey's leg and get up as he waited for him. "So this is where the battle intensifies...We shall see who rises tonight." With that, he would get in his fighting stance and wait for Joey's move.

Joey shakily pushed himself to his feet that move had taken quite alot out of him. and it seemed like red Knight wasn't going for an attack immediately. Most liekly waiting for a chance for another devestating counter. He let otu a growl at his words. He was slowly starting to loose his cool at Red Knight's attitude. He just needed to think of something he wouldn't expect. Maybe at attack that he wouldn't really be expecting an attack that could easily be turned against him but then just as easily turned back against his opponent.

He ran at Red Knight aiming for him to be lifted in a flapjack fashion although made it look like he was going for a clothline. Whichever way it went as long as it was in his favor he didn't really care.

Red Knight saw Joey coming and decided to let him have the attack. So, he would take the flapjack and would be flipped to the mat. The pain wasn't really that much from the throw, but Red Knight knew that he should be on his guard before Joey does another attack. He would try to get up before Joey did anything else.
