Y!M IQ test... DON'T TAKE IT!!!!

I just got contacted by a couple of people who responded in exactly the same manner... They both talked about an IQ test that I should take, one of the conversations I had...:

It was lucky that this guy hardly ever contacts me, so I wasn't too keen on taking the IQ test. A short while later I had pretty much the same conversation with someone else, I kept messaging them after they sent the link and eventually they informed me that they needed to take a shower... I looked up on google and found a few warning in people's blogs about this.

I'd advise you not to take the IQ test... No IQ test is so good that it turns everyone into mindless zombies promoting it.

That sounds like a phish. Don't click on the link. If you click on the link, and then become logged out of YIM, don't log back into YIM until you have ended the javascript process which has hijacked your' computer and have cleaned any left behind key-loggers from your' system with a security scan/stinger program. Alternately, it could be a dumb phish, in which case don't put any of your' information into the website, (dumbass).

No offense to her, but I thought I would report that I have confirmed AFW Member Jessica to have this bug, therefore if she is on your IM list, you may recieve said message.

The phishers, that is. Also you don't need to take IQ tests anyway, you're all brilliant.

The message starts with my friend saying "Hey" or "Hello" or "hi" and then once you respond to that, the next message would be "I just took an IQ test here...pretty cool"..It actually started annoying me until I found out that my friend's computer's are affected by malware and their Yahoo Messengers are taking control over.

So if you are a victim of such thing, here are the things you can do..

1. The first thing to do is, go to http://webmessenger.yahoo.com, and change the password for your yahoo account.
2. Now install one of the free Sypware removal tool on you computer. The one I like is Spybot Search & Destroy. Spyware Doctor is another good one out there
3. Uninstall the existing Yahoo messenger that you have on your computer and then re-install the latest version.

That should probably fix your problem. So look out for Yahoo Messenger's IQ Test Hack attack.
