Kei Maxwell vs Taylor Sparks (Friction Debut)

Kei continued to hold her in there but could see Taylor going for the ropes. She held on anyway until Taylor would get there or if something else happened.

Taylor fought back tears as she did everything she could to ignore the searing pain from her knee and ankle. Her legs strained to resist the pressure from the hold. She knew that even if she did get out she'd still be in serious trouble. Her only real hope was if the ropes were close enough...

Her hand finally closed over the bottom rope. She grabbed hold of it with both hands and pulled as hard as she could, sliding herself inch by inch toward it until she was able to wrap her elbows around it. Her breathing came in sobs and little stifled noises escaped despite her efforts to stay quiet. If she wasn't able to pry herself out of the hold now that she had leverage, she didn't know what else she had left.

When Taylor got to the ropes Kei felt a touch on her shoulder from the referee to signal that Taylor did in fact get a hold of the ropes, which she broke the hold. Kei had a feeling that Taylor still had something in her but knew she shouldn't let up, to which she grabbed a hold of her with the intent of giving her a piledriver.

Felt a moment of enormous relief and pulled her legs into her chest, rubbing her hurt ankle and burying her face in the mat so Kei couldn't how hurt she was.

Inevitably, Kei grabbed hold of her head and she obligingly tried to stand back up. She wobbled, she fell back to one knee, and eventually managed to get to her feet as Kei tucked her head between her legs. She knew what to expect. She just really hoped she could do something about it. She bit her bottom lip.

When Kei wrapped her arms around Taylor's waist, she took hold of Kei's wrists. When Kei bent her knees to get the leverage to lift her up she took a deep breath. With butterflies in her stomach she was lifted up, upside down, with her legs on either side of Kei's head. She played off of the momentum created by Kei lifting her and yanked Kei's hands apart while pulling her upper body up into more of a seated position. She locked her ankles and trapped Kei's head between her legs before throwing her upper body back, using her weight to try to pull Kei down and land her on the top of her head.

Kei thought it be a matter of just lifting her up and, well doesn't matter what was going to follow as she found herself going up and over. There wasn't any stopping from her landing on her head but she did manage barely to get her arms around her head in a way to try to soften the impact a bit, not enough to keep her from laying there after the impact with a groan but enough to prevent from going unconscious.

Taylor slammed her fist into the mat for emphasis and pushed herself back up. She very carefully eased her weight onto her hurt legs, favoring her ankle heavily. She took the two steps over to Kei and stepped on her hair with one foot to hold her in place.

"Don't go anywhere, I'm not done with you yet." she spat.

With a sneer, she lifted her other leg and dropped down onto her butt, landing the back of her thigh across Kei's throat.

Kei went to swat at Taylor's legs when she stepped on her hair which didn't really do anything to Taylor. She gagged a bit when the thigh came against her throat. Meanwhile, Sion was watching from backstage, looking impressed with what Taylor was doing so far.

Taylor was starting to recover, though she knew she couldn't count on her legs to work the way she wanted. That limited her options a great deal, as she was used to staying as mobile as possible to prevent bigger stronger girls like Kei from having their way with her. Still, a fight was a fight, and whenever she put her mind to thinking of a way to hurt something, she always came up with something.

She turned over and planted her palms on the mat next to Kei and kicked up into a handstand. She hung there for just a moment before dropping her good knee, with all her weight on top of it, down onto Kei's stomach.

Kei saw Taylor going up and got her arms up to protect the face and neck area, though it didn't do her any good as Taylor came down much lower than what she was thinking and she groaned some more. Sion had a 'hey I grew up in there...er never mind.' Thought when Taylor nailed his mother in the stomach.

While Kei had taken a lot of Taylor's bravado out of her, she wasn't grinning anymore, her determination to fight was still untouched. She took one handful of Kei's hair and very painfully hauled herself back to her feet, her legs wobbly. She pulled at Kei's hair to encourage her to get back to her feet, keeping her head down at Taylor's own waist level so she couldn't stand up all the way.

"C'mon, get up, you spend more than enough time on your back already."
