Zero Kotobuki vs "Mad" Max

Zero's forehead pressed against the mat as she curled up around her hurt stomach. She hated showing such weakness, but Max's violent counter-attack had caught her off guard. Such dirty fighting was not something she expected from her opponant. She grit her teeth when her short green hair was grabbed, and she was forced to look at her opponant. Zero may not have been screaming, but pain as evident on her face as she stared up at Max, cringing from his loud shout.

Still winded from the earlier blow she was helpless as her arm was scissored, and as Max flipped over her and applied the armbar, Zero grit her teeth as the pain set in. Zero held on as long as she could, squirming and trying to push away at Max's legs, but finally she would hae to relent. She raised her free arm and started tapping the mat, choosing to give this round to Mad Max.

Max was yanking at the arm as he started hearing the ref say, "That's enough! Let her arm go!" He wanted to teach this girl a lesson though as he gave it one last wrench backwards before releasing it. A grin was on his face as he rolled his sore body towards his corner. Adrenaline seemed to be what was driving him to be able to push through what damage had been done. Like a tiger spying on its prey, Max was closely watching Zero, waiting for the ref to signal the start of the next round, the score 1 all.

Zero cringed after that last yank on her arm, and with a pained grunt she was released from the armbar. Luckily she was released before any lasting damage could be done or else she'd have a real problem later in the match. Getting on her hands and knees Zero hauled herself to her feet, and made her way to her corner. Over her shoulder she cast a fierce glare at Max, silently promising him retribution.

Once she as in her corner she took the precious few seconds to recover, catching her breath and stretching her sore arm a little. When the break was over, Zero would come out of her corner again, rasing her fists at the ready as she approached her opponant. Once she was close enough to Max she would throw a few quick jabs at his face, her gloved fists looking to do some damage.

Max had learned his lesson from last time to not rush Zero. As the two met at the middle of the ring, Max found himself dodging a few quick jabs, only to maneuver himself into a fist to his face when he had planned to mount a counter-attack. He quickly threw a few blind, barefisted jabs of his own to try and make Zero back off before he received too many blows. What was this multi-talented girl!?

Before Zero jioned the world of professional wrestling she had an extensive MMA background. Things like puches, kicks and grapples were second nature to her. Since incorperating wrestling moves into her arsenal Zero has become even stronger then she used to be.

At least one of her blows managed to nail Max, something he seemed to not expect. It turned out to be to her advantage as she was easily able to disdern Max's blind counter attack. Swiftly Zero would duck under the retaliatory blows, getting down low so she could nail Max in the stomach with a hard punch. If she managed that she would then grab Max's shoulders, and follow up with knee strike to his stomach.

Max stood no chance in this battle of blows as his amateurish attempts to retaliate cost him his breath as he doubled over, only to be caught by his shoulders. Then he felt the stinging pain of revenge as a knee struck his stomach violently. Karma was a bitch and she was robbing him of every breath at this moment. Feeling weak, Max would have little strength to hold himself up for the moments that follow.

Zero would be lying if she said she was aiming for Max's stomach because of revenge for being struck there multiple times herself. Still, there was a certain bit of satisfaction as she watched her opponant take some f his own medicine.

Zero was already on Max as he doubled over, having thought up a stragey in her head. Quickly she would wrap her arm around Max's neck in a front facelock, holding him tightly to prevent escape. She'd then take his arm and drape it over the back of her head. Once everything was set up, Zero would throw Max backwards in a flash, slamming his back into the mat with a snap suplex.

Max could do nothing to prevent the suplex that threw him over Zero and onto his back. He was worn down at this point and couldn't really bring himself to fight back, so he just lay there, dazed like earlier. All he could do was lay there and try to think of a way out of this before Zero locked in another submission.

With her usual blank look Zero sat back up and turned to face Max as he lay there. With the true profiency of a trained fighter she quickly turned round to face him. Grabbing his head, she would wrap one of her arms around his throat, and brace her other arm against the back of his head, expertly applying a sleeperhold. She'd also wrap her strong legs around his waist, applying a bodyscissors as well. Once all was in place Zero would fall onto her side, taking Clyde with her where she would start to apply pressure to both holds.

Max's adrenaline kicked in once more, but this time the chemically-induced fight-or-flight response only made him realize what situation he was in. "Let..!" Was all he managed to squeeze out vocally before the holds came under full application. His arms were flailing, he was desperate. What would happen if he didn't tap? Would he be considered unfit to continue the entire match? He couldn't let that happen. With the draining strength in his arms, Max tried to pry the expertly applied sleeper hold from his neck to allow for a flow of air to his lungs. If he fails, it is almost guaranteed that he would start to drift off into an unconscious state.
