Round 1: Amami Haruka vs Gogo Puffs

Her chosen kawaii theme S.O.S. Nara Daijoubu and her very proud manager Aida Masato escorted Amami Haruka to the ring for the last round of the Li'l Princess of the Ring tournament. All the matches before hers had been terrific. Haruka hoped she could do just as well as all the other kawaii wrestlers. Or at least avoid the same of embarrassment she'd gotten in her failed title shot against Lil Luci Lollipop, the thought of which still made her blush.

"Good luck, Haruka."

"Thanks, Masato-kun."

Despite her better judgment, Haruka wore her pink two-piece bikini instead of, say, her idol outfit. Her opponent had an even more embarrassing outfit. If Gogo Puffs could wrestle in a costume like that, Amami Haruka ought to be able to wrestle in a (comparatively more modest) swimsuit!

Speaking of Gogo, she should be coming up now. Haruka wondered what her opponent's theme music would be...

After Amani's theme had cooled off, the stadium fell silent...then suddenly....a shy looking Gogo approached from the walkway. Strangely enough, there was NO MUSIC playing! That is until...

I am...getting so hot, I wanna take mah clothes oooooofff!/

Apprently, from the looks on Gogo's face, and not to mention everyone else's in the audiance, somebody up there in the sound studio had messed up and played an entirely different song that was unrelated to the intro theme Gogo had requested.
Instead of some generic rock music that she was hoping would play, "Hot in hurr", by Nelly was blasting through the speakers.

Gogo rolls her eyes.

"Darn it! Everything's goin' wrong now!"

Gogo swallowed hard and walked down the ramps feeling like a total goof. It was best if she shoved her embarrassment down her throat and held her head high, though, even after making a rather weird first impression in the most important of events in AFW history, Lil Princess of the Ring.

Speaking of ring, Gogo tried to climb her way through the ropes, but ended up falling on her ass.

"Fuck!"

She spat and dragged herself up on her feet.

"Well, my intro song might've screwed up, but I'm gonna make sure that I won't!"

With her voice carrying the confidence of a seasonsed fighter(despite the fact that she just fell on her ass not too long ago), Gogo gets ready for her match.

She looks shy, was Haruka's first thought about Gogo. But she also seems like a nice girl.

And everyone would be treated to the sight of Haruka cutely face-faulting to the mat.

W-w-why did she pick such a lewd song as her opening theme! Haruka grimaced as she picked herself up. D-did I misjudge her?

It didn't appear that way, though, as Gogo entered the ring. Haruka did wince sympathetically when her opponent fell on her butt.

Ouch... she's clumsier than I am... And that was saying a lot.

"Fuck!"

And more vulgar, Haruka sighed.

"Well, my intro song might've screwed up, but I'm gonna make sure that I won't!" she was told.

Still sighing, Haruka forced her shoulders to firm. "R-right, Gogo-san," she said in as bright a tone as she could muster. "Let's do our best, okay?"

She'd already considered her options. Gogo was bigger than her, so it would be foolish to grapple. That meant striking. Haruka held her fists up like a boxer would. She'd let Gogo make the first move, though, and would counter from there.

Gogo never knew much about Amami, nor about anything else that had to do with AWF, however, she felt ready to prove herself in this very ring....

"Hold on!"

Gogo throws her hands up in protest and kneals down to fasten one of her boots, then rises back to her feet.

"Ok! Ready!"

With her hands assuming a grappling stance, Gogo attempts to carefully close in on Amami. If she'd get close enough, Gogo would attempt to lock-up, a typical way to start most wrestling matches.

Haruka was already decided on punching Gogo soon as her opponent stepped into her reach. She was hyped up for it.

So she startled herself by accepting the earnest, clumsy-seeming Gogo's lock-up in kind.

"Reh!"

Alarmed by her gaffe, Haruka fell back while still holding (and being held by) Gogo, letting Gogo push her back towards the ropes...

Nice! Her first match looked like it was going to be easy! She thought.

Now that Gogo had locked up with Amani, she would try to sieze one of her arms and apply an Arm Wringer, ending up with Gogo standing behind her victim.

"Ah!" Haruka winced as Gogo wrung her right arm sharply. Stupid! she berated herself too late. I got to get out of this!

Feeling and knowing Gogo was right behind her, Haruka would kick backwards, trying to hit Gogo's shin. Masato would be yelling directions to guide her blind kick if she missed.

"Whoop!"

With one well placed kick, Gogo instantly lost balance and stumbled over.

What a big surprise. A low kick? Out of nowhere? Gogo really thought that she'd be taking the advantage early on, but instead, Gogo finds herself slumped on one knee. Her other leg still burned from Amami's heavy strike.

With clenched teeth, Gogo would struggle to get up, fearing for what Amami might have in store for her if she wouldn't recover quickly.

Freed from Gogo's grip, Haruka stumbled forward. The idol girl clutched her wrung arm as she brought herself around to face her opponent. She couldn't believe how forgetful she'd been. After psyching herself up for a slugging match, she'd gone the opposite way and grappled. And with someone bigger than her. Who promptly attacked her left arm. Which was her strong arm.

Baka baka! Haruka no baka!

Haruka would bring up her good right arm and attempt to clothesline tackle Gogo to the mat!
