Rina Ninoita vs Kelani Alex - Assert Yourself

In the back Rina was getting herself pumped up for tonight's bout, it was a long time coming and it was finally time for her debut at long last! Okay so she had forgotten to give AFW her phone number the whole time but that was besides the point as far as the yellow wonder was concerned, what mattered was she finally getting a match where she could show what she could do! Which honestly probably wasn't much but that wasn't the case as far as she was concerned. Dressed in a fetching pink and yellow leotard with matching boots and gloves Ms Ninoita would hear a knock on her locker room door, a signal that she was to make her way to the gorilla position!

"Alright! Lets get in there!" Rina said to herself as she pumped a fist into the air and rushed right out the door, damn near sprinting to the entrance ramp. However she was stopped by one of the stage hands, after all appearances mattered in the wrestling business. Sure enough Rina's theme song known as Double Lariat would blare from the speakers as the yellow wonder would then bolt out the curtain to a roaring applause from those in attendance!

Ms Ninoita would then lightly sprint towards the ring, slapping some of the fans hands on her way before then stepping in between the ropes. Only to nearly trip on the way there! Thankfully Rina recovered and chuckled a bit there as she then waited in her corner patiently to see who she'd be facing here tonight!

So…on a scale on one to 10, how would you rate my debut match here?


”2/10, boring in-ring work and just horrible form.”

What was followed after that harsh rating of a match was scoff and then the two voices bursting out into laughter, it would appear Alex and his manager Verdé were having a laugh from backstage, this was Alex’s second match here and much to both him and his manager’s surprise, it was a mixed match. Alex wasn’t too keen on this considering his last fiasco, god he hated that entire experience. But regardless a match was a match and he was going to see himself win said match, no matter the sex of his opponent. Almost ready to leave before being stopped by Verdé.

I know we definitely get on each other’s necks a lot. But I wanna say this: You’re the only person that willingly let me manage them so I wanted to give you this. Think of it as a early Christmas present.

They handed the self-proclaimed “Best Heel” a box, which Alex gladly accepted, not bothering to ask them what  it was but instead opted to open it himself before saying anything. He then revealed what seemed to be a new attire for him, considering the white trunks.

”You’re really something you know that? And that’s why I love ya!


Alex then took the box, going to the changing room but not before giving his non-binary manager a kiss on the cheek for affection, literally having to jump up to reach him. It wasn’t a slow change, he had a opponent waiting for him after all. He came out of the dressing room, looking at Verde for confirmation, who quickly gave him a thumbs up before running to backstage, his theme blaring in the background as he was called up to the stage. Verde waving him off as they sighed silently.

”He’s wearing the trunks backwards…

Alex would come out to the entrance ramp, strutting to the ring and refusing to sign autographs and slap hands with the crowd which gained him a fair amount of heat, jumping up effortlessly to the apron, wiping his newly found boots of the seat of it, before climbing in. Looking at his opponent with a slightly raised eyebrow and sporting his new attire!

Alex's 2023 Attire!:

  ”Huh..this is new.”

Rina was eager to get herself going in this match so that she could show the folks in Tension what the yellow wonder would be able to dish out against them! The blacked haired cutie would bounce on her feet from side to side in excitement as her opponent headed to the ring there, she would smile warmly as her opponent came down to the ring. Still it seemed he was all business here in the bout, no matter Rina reasoned.

She'd give a look over at her opponent as he got in here. It seemed he was about the same height as her, around that range. Pretty boy on the slender side, a nice change from the usual muscle heads Rina had fought. This might pan out in her favour!

The yellow wonder would wave to her opponent as he got into the ring and said in a chipper tone with "Hiiiii! Rina Ninoita's the name, lets have a great match!" with Rina nodding to her opponent as the match would start once the ref made sure both were prepared to get this going. And the yellow wonder would come out fast as the bell rang! In fact......she'd run so fast Rina would trip over her own feet sprinting towards Kelani and would possibly just fall to the ground as she'd moan at her own clumsiness!

Alex seemed to be assessing the opponent: She seemed to be around the same height that guy he met back in the Halloween photoset. What was his name again? Aiden Bolt? That sounds about right. Maybe after this match, they could plan something together, maybe a date even. Alex waited for the bell to ring, wanting to see what his opponent would do first. What happened next almost shocked him as Rina took a tumble to the floor. Shock soon turned to small laughter.


Slowly walking over to the downed woman, raising her up to his knees and then with some pause, slammed his knee right into the poor face of Rina Ninoita! Alex would then greeted with a shower of boos and jeers for that cheap shot. He would brush them off, smirking as he once more recalled the tumble of the clumsy wrestler before him.


Maybe this wouldn't be as bad i made it out to be, Alex thought to himself. Could probably be an easy win also.

Well the match was now underway there and Rina was gonna give it everything she had as per her usual mindset! Okay in fact this was taken quite literally with the yellow wonder going right at it and tumbling down there and crashing and burning right at the opening of the match there! There was such a thing as 'looking before you leap' but Rina stopped paying attention after the first word of that phrase.

Well could have been worse, Rina probably would have forgotten to tie her shoe laces had she gone with her other boots there. But she'd have bigger concerns there as her opponent Kelani would seek to take advantage of this and sock the yellow wonder right in the noggin there!

"Gah!" Rina yelped out as she went for a loop, in fact she'd do a full backwards roll there across the ring and would stop with her back on the mat as the yellow wonder was spread eagled on the mat there. Her mind was pondering a lot of things right now, namely what the heck hit her and also how did she just crash and burn at one spot to doing the same over there now?!

Alex would give the crowd a sly shrug while the Yellow wonder took a tumble. Gaining him some more boos from the crowd. He decided to give the young woman a break for once. Waiting for her to get back up on her feet to show he wasn't that bad of a person. Moving to the corner post to admire himself, checking his nails and pushing his deep turquoise hair back.


It wasn't a surprise that Alex was an attractive addition to the main roster and who could blame people? His sea green orbs, lush and smooth hair and his golden brown skin tone were all features that made Alex a attractive figure. But that also made him dangerous. He wasn't all looks and could hold himself well in the ring even while being a total rookie in the sport of professional wrestling.

Alex soon grew impatient with his opponent's dawdling. His calm expression turning into an annoyed one, rising up from the lounging position he produced, and tapping his feet impatiently.

"So..how long do you plan on lying there and wasting my and everyone's time?"

Alex said coldly to Rina, who was presumably out of it, laying spread-eagled on the mat.

Alright Rina got off to a rough start there, but she'd get this going and show the people of Kyoto and Tension that she was a wonder and a half! Or at least that was what Rina had in mind, but if anything all the folks likely thought of her was it must have been a wonder that she could even slide into the wrestling ring without blowing something up there.

Still Rina was fresh as a daisy in the match and she was scrambling when she heard Alex's remarks there, Rina tilted her head at the comments and huffed in a rather cute manner at that as she put her hands on her hips there. "I'm just getting started here, I ain't gonna be going down easy pal!" Rina said with a confident smile on her face as she crouched upwards a bit into a more professional wrestling stance, alright time to try and remember what her instructors said. Take it a bit slower and size up the enemy.

Trying her best to follow this advice Rina would try to edge in close and attempt to cinch Alex into a classic collar and elbow tie up, given they're comparable heights and builds Rina figured she might be able to pull this off and show she could wrestle a bit in her own right there!

Alex didn't find anything about Rina cute, finding her huffing and hands on her hips annoying to say the least. But he still had a match to do, regardless of what he felt. Wiping his nose and getting out of the corner he was just getting comfortable in, Alex obliged Rina's attempt at an lockup. Wanting to try out chain wrestling for a bit. But little did the girl know, Alex had a bit more up his sleeve.

The newcoming heel would bend down into his own stance. Scoffing at Rina's comments and giving her a rude response. "Famous last words."Alex taunted, flipping his hair back with his hand as the two started their test of strength! Trying to get Rina on the defensive, Alex would try to get her in a arm wrench, twisting her arm in ways it shouldn't bend. He seemed to be a natural at this, but not the best as his grip would start to slip. Alex not too fussed about this but not wanting this chance to slip, intending to transition into a headlock as long as Rina didn't wriggle out of the move.

Rina was getting ready to get back in this! She wasn't going to back down just cause Alex was talking trash at her, the yellow wonder might have been a klutz but she had thick skin and wouldn't be deterred by any of this smack talk. In fact the cute gal had a strained expression on her face that signalled her being deep in concentration at that fact as she shuffled in close to try and start grappling with Alex, would probably be one of the rare instances where she'd actually be able to lock up with an opponent proper.

Still Alex was crafty besides his tongue from the looks of it, because the next thing Rina knew Alex was managing to get her into a headlock! That managed to catch the yellow wonder off guard there as her arms would flail about the place as she yelled "Wahhhhhh!!!" as she buckled and wrangled around in Alex's grip as if she were a fish just grabbed out the river.

Whether it was through desperation or that Rina might be a careful and cunning combatant Rina would find herself attempting to wrap her arms around Alex's waist, before making to suddenly try and heft Alex for a German Suplex! It wasn't all that well executed in the lift though as Rina was more just acting on instinct than anything else though.

Alex usually used trash talk to express his frustrations with the opponent he was facing. He scoffed at Rina's defiance as the two locked up.

Alex was quick to try and wrench in that headlock, grinning madly as he flaunted his prize around like a toy. Alex seemed to be in the zone during this second match of his, and wasn't trying to lose it anytime soon. Attempting to get more technical with his opponent, Alex would try to bring Rina to the mat with a headlock takedown!

"What the-OOF"

The pretty boy's second attempt to transition shut down by a surprise suplex, his back being slammed hard into the mat! Groaning out in pain as he was taken off his high horse.
