Ever try getting along with two parents, six sisters and three dogs in a single house? Tsukasa tried. She could handle it about as well as anyone would expect. Neither the youngest nor the oldest, not the smartest and not the dumbest, Tsu felt like she had to scream and shout just to be heard. And before long, she was doing more than that. Picking fights, staying out late, pickpocketing, some shoplifting here and there, even stole a car for her eighteenth birthday. It must have been every night she was pulling some kind of antic and not once did she pay for it. So she went bigger.

She never had much interest in wrestling before, but the more she watched the action, the risks, the energy, the women...her tune started to change. Starting out was rougher than she was hoping for. Manabe just didn’t have the size to edge out many wins for the earliest matches of her career and she noticed that fairly quickly. Even the smallest women in the average amateur league had some muscle over her, just enough to power through whatever offense she adopted. Eventually, she was strung out for jobber duty in the only league in the region that would take her. Just a cute face for the real talent to step on. Manabe wasn’t interested in that. She turned to the underground and quickly found a style that suited her much better. With some added flexibility and a lot of practice, Manabe became intimately familiar with each of her opponents. Even when she was seeing them for the first time, she had no problem bending them to her will and making them dance beneath her fingers like hot pokers. Her rapid progress to the top of the less-than-legal league was nothing short of freakish. To the audience and her wrestlers alike, she was a little devil. An imp.

For some reason, she really liked that tune. When a scout sought her out for the premier Wrestle Angels league, Manabe could already halfway picture herself out there in the middle of the ring. After a quick relocation to Tokyo, Succubus Manabe made a small name for herself amongst the world’s wrestling elite. Her rise wasn’t nearly as glorious as she thought it would be and she never climbed above the middle card. But one good thing did come from her joining Wrestle Angels: she found Ami Kurihama, the Black Magician.

The two of them met by chance after being paired together on a whim for a tag-team match expressly meant for killing time before the night’s main event. Their subsequent domination changed a lot of minds that night, both in management and between each other. The two of them stuck together through thick and thin ever since. Aki’s macabre sense of humor and…“enticing” philosophies made her too much fun not to be around. Neither of them were even bothered when Wrestle Angels inevitably went under and if the rumors she'd heard about this new league were right, then it might just be the kind of place where devils like them could prosper.
