It's been a few days since Showdown. WhiteGale had a rough night at the event, but there was some silver lining. Sion and Daisuke weren't able to retain their tag team championship, but Lita took advantage of being in the right place at the right time and walked out of the event the new 24/7 Champion. While she hasn't been informed on what the card for the evening is, she was at the very least going to be interviewed about her group's future.

She assured their supporters that they haven't seen the last of Daisuke and Sion. As for herself, she looks at the belt in her hands and grins before saying to the interviewer "I guess I'll still around too." She wasn't planning on going anywhere, but this gives her a bit of a personal boost. When asked how her first few days as champion she looks to be on the fence about it. "Can't say it's been eventful, not that I'm complaining, but for a championship that's on the line around the clock, I'm kinda surprised nobody's came at me yet. Take yesterday for example. You'd think as I'm deciding what cereal someone's thinking of taking me out with a pineapple. I knew when I decided to take my shot when I did that this would be potential territory I'd find myself in, but they only people who came up to me were fans wanting autographs or pictures. That's cool and all, but you'd figure at least one of them might have a referee friend and try to pull a fast one, oh well." She shrugs. "But if it's at the store, in the ring, even right there, it says right here on the belt that I'm open season day and night, I'm up to the challenge. I don't suppose you'd want to try?" The interviewer shakes his head.

"That's alright." Lita tells him. "It's not for everyone, but not very many people out there can say they're down with any potential challenger at any hour of the day. If anyone out there thinks they can handle it, I'm not hard to find." The interviewer asks her how her championship would stack up against others here. "Not to knock the world singles champ down a peg, but is our current world champion, well, both of them for that matter, someone who is able and willing to defend and defeat any opponent on any given day? What about any given time of any given day? This right here is a true endurance test, and I would love to prove that I am more than capable of holding my own against anyone and everyone."

The interviewer did have one more question for her, regarding Lucy of the group formally known as the UKE. Lita rubbed her chin when asked about her and the rest of WhiteGale's recent interaction with the British trio.

Showdown was teh worst disaster of Alice's life.

The match turned her into a laughing stock as is, but to add to the misery, she got her title taken..."No...stolen!", by someone completely outside of the planned match. From what she has seen, this situation was a rarity...but it did make sense. 24/7 meant everyone in Tension was her enemy 24/7. That was just the truth of the matter.

Naturally, as her quest to get her title back began, she did research on the new champion - Lita, who was part of a stable WhiteGale who were tag team champs just a few days ago before Showdown. She likely got the title from Alice so that the night wasn't a total loss...

And in fact, she was scheduled to give an interview backstage on tonight's episode of Tension.

There would be no convoluted scheme this time. She was going to do this cleanly, with a spare ref girl positioned just a few meters out of the champ's eyesight, while she herself stood to the side of Lita.

Carefully, she made her way towards the interview area...

...and when just a few meters separated her and Lita, she broke into a run, as silently as she could, in order to rush at Lita, looking to knock the champion down to the canvas with a surprise Dropkick!

Lucy was someone that Lita was hoping would attempt to take the belt from her. While Sion and Daisuke paired up against Ryan and John, Lucy was always watching from a distance, even if Lita was present. Lita's aware that some fans has been wondering if the two of them went at it, and while she's got nothing against her it does make sense to have that happen.

Before Lita could get around to making a formal challenge to Lucy, something, rather someone, hit her from behind and caused her to fall into the interviewer.

Her surprise attack was a complete success! Alice herself was shocked why it was this easy.

Immediately, the Pale Rider went for the pin. She learned why wrestlers seemed to lose so quickly despite taking no moves while holding the belt. When one is not ready for a pin, 3 seconds is not enough in the slightest for the brain to process that: you are in a match, about to lose the belt, and you need to kick out.

Admittedly, she wasn't sure if the science was exact on what her research told her...but it was certainly worth a try! Her hired ref would approach the champ and the challenger and count the pin...

Thankfully for the interviewer, Alice was more interested in letting her actions do the talking and pulled Lita off of him and went for a pin. The ref was quick to get into position to make a count, but was able to only score it two and a half as Lita got a shoulder up in time. As Lita turned following the kickout, she realized she now had to back up her words as someone decided to come at her. She couldn't make out who it was as she got on all fours in attempt to get back to her feet and fight back.

As she attempted to stand back up, she saw the interviewer's microphone by her hand. If her challenger was more focused on getting her exposed back she would attempt to fight off the potential onslaught and grip the handle to strike with the mic should she find an option to take a swing, however if Alice was as quick as her feet on that drop kick was who knows what she might have in store for the champion.

The ref only counted 2.5 as Lita kicked out: "Damnit!", Alice screamed, her element of surprise completely gone.

Quickly, both women got back to their feet, staring daggers at each other...and Lita would have quite a resourceful head on her shoulders, as she snatched the mic from the interviewers hands, and swung at Alice! The Pale Rider was quick on her feet though, quickly ducking her rival, and attempting a counter attack in the form of a sweep of Lita's legs!

Lita's swing was on target, but it caught nothing but air as Alice ducked in time. Not only that, but Alice also tripped her up with a leg sweep, causing her to fall on her butt.

The interviewer felt it would be best for him to not be in the way as he wouldn't want anything more to happen to him than having Lita getting knocked him to him as happened a moment ago. His microphone was still in Lita's possession, managing to hang on as she hit the ground. She winced from the impact, but could still feel the handle in her hand. Looking up as to brace herself for what might come her way, Lita quickly whipped the microphone towards Alice's face, hoping to stun her temporarily.

Alice smirked as she felt her leg find it's mark, tripping Lita and forcing her to the ground. As she tried to face the brunette however:

THUD!

"AUGH!", Alice screamed at the dull object being used as a weapon, falling onto her rear as Lita was free for a follow up on Alice!

The expected gift assist paid off and helped Lita even things for the time being as she introduced Alice to the microphone the hard way. Not wanting to waste the opening given to her, Lita picked up Alice, and with a waistlock for grip she proceeded to run her into a nearby wall, regardless if anyone or anything was in the way.

"Uuuugh...what?"

As she somewhat recovered from the hard shot to her head, Alice was somewhat confused why Lita picked her up...before suddenly both women rushed into a nearby wall!

"...! Nonono---AAAAAAUGH!", Alice screamed, as Lita sandwiched the Pale Rider between the wall and herself. The moment Lita released the smaller woman, Alice would quietly slump down the wall...though she would be still awake as she tried to pick herself up!
