Deride him for his obstinance, questionable choice in hairstyles, or somewhat..."archaic", viewpoints of the world that have him lambasted on social media boards...Dasher was nevertheless a master of his craft in every feasible conception. The wrestling ring was as sacred to him as a slab of granite was to a chiseling sculptor, or a blank canvas was to an inspired artist. The only questionable difference was that his particular craft involved the brutal dismantling and torquing contortion of whoever just so happened to be sharing the ring with him at the time. And at that brutal task, there was perhaps no-one better. Dasher himself appearing no less like the savage neanderthal his online critics deride him as given the teeth-gnashing savageness to his facial expressions, at times bellowing a feral roar as he settled into the submission that had made everyone either submitting, or waking up in the infirmary wishing they had submitted.

"YIYAHHHHHH!!!!"
The straining flex to his biceps and quads indicated just how cinched in Dasher had applied the Inoba Clutch, and how much beefy muscle Tam was fighting against and had to overcome to have any remote chance of escaping what was voted the 2011-2013 Most Ruthless Submission Of The Year back in his old federation. Tam's squirming wriggles garnered the tomboy some decent headway, but some reapplied pressure once again settled the thickset and sweat-smeared grappler right back upon the small of her spine...at times mushing his interlocked fingers against her lips to make the unsettling sight of his trademark submission even moreso. Thousands cheered onward and compelled Tam to be the first out of dozens to not go quietly into the humbling night and break free when others were just plain broken. Being swept up in his own testerone-jacked stupor meant that it was all up to the kneeling official to know when the submission had done its job and insist on a lenient break-up between the pair...to which it was only hoped that Dasher would actually acquiesce to it.

This was it, wasn’t it? Tam hadn’t lost very often in her life, not since she’d learned how to properly kick the head from someone’s shoulders. She’d lost touch with the feeling over time. Even when she found herself in a trouble spot, her training and experience were usually enough to edge the difference. Fighting was the one thing she knew best. It was all she needed to win.

Not this time, it seemed. The life draining from her body left in spurts in sputters. Her wild flailing slowed down to little jerks and convulsions of her tired muscles. The Vietnamese girl’s eyes slowly lost their light, draining faster and faster with every violent crank of Dasher’s epic muscles. She didn’t go quietly into the good night, but she was going. No amount of hooping and hollering around her would change that, no spiteful words from her tightly shut mouth. It wasn’t all in vain, though. People were shouting her name. She’d given this arrogant bastard hell from start to finish. That all meant something in the end, right?

Maybe.

Tam would have plenty of time to ruminate on that thought. Her head was starting to swirl, flushing the consciousness straight out of her like a drain. The ragged breaths in her throat suddenly stopped. The body in Dasher’s meaty mits went limp in an instant. A thin trail of saliva fell from her lip to the canvas below, eyes slightly parted with a cloudy gaze. The official, very reluctantly, reached towards the powerful wrestlers and grabbed Tam’s hand, letting it fall once.

Then twice.

Then a third.

The bell rang out, finally bringing this long and grueling battle to its end. On the floor, Tam didn’t respond to any of it. Her exposed upper body rose and fell with slight breaths, thankfully showing the approaching medics that she was still alive as they readied a stretcher to carry her out.

The Dasher Challenge : Part 4 - A Vagrant Story - Page 7 Empty Re: The Dasher Challenge : Part 4 - A Vagrant Story

What makes the Inoba Clutch such a ferociously effective submission wasn't so much the massive musculature being brought to bear upon his opponent, though any adversary whose wound up on it's receiving end and has been interviewed the next day in the chiropractor's office would be keen to disagree. But it was the feral, barbaric intensity and years of grappling experience that makes it as definitive a match-ender as any submission can possibly be. Tam's scrappy flailing may have earned her the wiggle room to squirm free under anyone else, but Dasher always readjusted himself accordingly to counter her desperate bid for freedom...and cranked down with a tensing flare-up of his steely muscles whenever she started settling down. Dasher flashing his pearly whites with every ruthless torquing, feeling Tam's warm breath against his fingers start to wane and become heavier until he felt the referee tapping his shoulder. The official attempting to snap him out of his frenzied hysteria when it looked like the ringing of the bell wasn't doing the job of letting him know the match was over.

Dasher only relenting to a fatigued slump when assured of his victory, the dashing chauvinist flopping over and onto his back to stare blankly into the sky for a brief period of time before rolling himself up on his knees, breathing raspily and wiping the sweat form his brow as medical officials tended to the unconscious Vietnamese who was still getting a round of applause for going the distance and never technically submitting to the bowl-cut brute in what was undoubtedly the farthest anyone has taken him one on one in Tension. If only if it weren't for the match's ending being less than ideal, and one that Hollywood would never have greenlit. Dasher soldiering through the searing pangs of blistering pain to stumble to his feet demanding the referee raise his arm in victory. All to the mixed reaction of the divided masses before he promptly started making his way towards his corner and out of the ring with a lumbering hobble. His track-suited students tossing his robe over his shoulders and already knowing well in advance to prepare his post-match medical treatment, always concluding with a bubbling jacuzzi bath with his adorable rubber ducky...

Winner - Dasher Inoba
