There was a little irony here, and Valley couldn’t help but recognize it as she made her way down to the ring for this match.

When Daisuke had first approached her for this match - or the souped up version of it, anyway - he’d been so eager to take her on, seeming like he wanted to stand up for Tension’s honor or whatever. To be 100% frank, she hadn’t paid him all that much attention. She was tired and ready to go home and was just sort of telling the man what he wanted to hear to get him out of her hair. She didn’t mind wrestling him, sure, so she accepted the challenge, but it didn’t go much beyond that in her mind.

Now? Now, this was something she’d been looking forward to for days.

The Valley Doll that came down to the ring looked much like the normal model, all smiles and waves and she sauntered forward and her theme music played. But inside, she had more crap to deal with than she’d had in a long time. Her match with Kaylee, the aftermath of that match, all the things going on with that...it was a heavy load. And when she needed to clear her mind, the best thing to was what she enjoyed the most: wrestling. Lots of wrestling.

So she was all too eager to hop into this ring and get to Daisuke’s match. He’d originally wanted an Iron Man affair, and she’d been down for that, but due to time constraints it had to be cut down to a regular submission match. No problem. It would still be a challenge, against a Tension veteran, no less. The perfect thing to sink her teeth into.

Bouncing from toe to toe, she made her way over to the far corner of the ring, leaned against the ropes, and waited for her opponent to show up….

After Valley came over to Tension and beat Charlie without breaking into a sweat, Daisuke stormed backstage and was all up in Valley's face as for him, the match felt only to diminish the talent and brand of Tension. The wrestling prince would demand a wrestling match against her to show everyone the real talent of Tension. He knew Valley had been through a lot of different types of matches and wanted to show her up in one of the more tougher ones but due to time constraints, the match was pegged down from a Ironman to a standard submission wrestling match. Daisuke would be lying to himself if he wanted this match just for the sake of Tension. Valley Doll aka The Slamazon aka The Last Slamazon was no doubt one of the - if not the- best wrestlers in AFW.

The wrestling prince was on a mission himself, to declare himself the best wrestler of AFW and sought challenges against the best of the best, friction or tension. This was more to him about proving that he was better than one of the best wrestlers and what better way to prove it, than to make Valley Doll tap out.

Daisuke was eagerly awaiting in the gorilla position waiting for the signal. He was clad in his grey wrestling briefs with polished black wrestling boots and a glittery black robe covering his chiseled frame. The wrestling prince was up for the challenge against Valley, he was going to give it his all and prove that he is the best. His theme cued and he made his way out to the Tension arena, the crowd giving him a mixed reaction of jeers and cheers as he made his way down the ring ramp towards ringside. He stopped near the ring apron and de-robed, then stepped up on the steel steps and hung the robe over the top turnbuckle and made his way inside the ring. Daisuke rolled his shoulders and stretched his neck then began to eye Valley from head to toe, with a confident grin.

"Valley..." he called out to her before walking towards the middle of the ring and stopping right at the center of the ring. "I hope you managed to put your troubles aside and are focused one hundred percent on this match."

Daisuke didn’t lack for enthusiasm, Valley had to give him that much, regardless of how this match. She could see it in his swagger as he came out from curtains, saw it on his focused face, his prideful stride. This was a man who wanted to win, thought he had the tools, and maybe he wasn’t wrong in that belief, either. She’d seen similar looks, sure, but it had been a good long while since she’d seen it from a male opponent.

He was ready to go. Which, of course, meant that had to be even more ready.

She gave her face few quick slaps, took a deep sigh, and psyched up as she made her way into the ring and addressed her, giving her some confident words. She had a little laugh and stepped forward, heading towards the center of the ring. ”And if I’m not? Maybe I think I only need to have, say, 75% to beat you.”

Valley cracked her neck to the side and lowered her stance, beckoning him on. ”Prove me wrong.”

Daisuke would make his way into the ring like his usual showboating self, only this time he focused more on the match itself rather than dissing his opponent like he usually would. Daisuke knew Valley Doll was one of the best wrestlers around and he couldn't afford to be relaxed or lack luster in his approach to beat her. If Daisuke did manage to beat her, if Daisuke did manage to make her tap he would certainly be on the road to become the best wrestler in AFW and cement his legacy on truly being the wrestling prince as he proclaims.

Having made his way to the middle of the ring, he confidently looked at Valley and said what he wanted to say to her, which would prompt the Slamazon to psyche her up as she gave herself a couple of light slaps on the cheek before stepping forward to meet Daisuke in the middle of the ring, face to face as the two had a brief staredown. Her words hurt the prince's pride for he would have settled for nothing but her best, still he would force her to wrestle at her best if so required.

"This isn't going to be like your last Tension match, I assure you. You'll find out soon enough" he said as he matched her stance. When she beckoned him, Daisuke would oblige as he lunged in at Valley looking to start off the match by initiating a classic collar and elbow grapple, "Hrgh!" he would grunt as he went in for the grapple.

So. How to play this?

Wrestling with men was always a different beast, and it was one that Valley knew she need to get back in the groove of tackling. With women, most of the time things were simple when they came in for a grapple. Se wasn’t a bruiser by any means, but Valley had good enough lower body strength and technique to hold her own with relative success.

Tie up or not? Tricky or straightforward?

Screw it, she’d play it out and see how it went.

Valley accepted Daisuke’s silent challenge and met him in the middle, getting nice and close for the lock. She slammed her feet down to stop the momentum, establishing a base as best she could, as a wry smile formed over her lips. ”Okay, big man. Show me what I’ve been missing.”

Daisuke was not one hundred percent sure whether Valley would accept his invitation for a grapple battle or not but to his credit he gave her the opportunity to either face him head on or take a more defensive approach. That would set the tone of the match for the wrestling prince as well, if she didn't accept then Daisuke would be more aggressive and if she did accept,it would mean she was not afraid to test her strength against his.

It was the latter that happened as Valley accepted his challenge. The two got close and pressed up against each other as they engaged each other in the grapple. Daisuke gritted his teeth as he leaned into her but Valley stayed upright as she kept close and established a good strong footing.

Her footwork left the wrestling prince slightly frustrated, he used his upper body strength but it was well neutralized by Valley's lower body and leg strength as she held him off. Daisuek grunted in frustration as he kept pushing forward harder and harder, "Tsk! Arghhh come on! You just gonna stay on the defensive? Arghh" he growled as he still attempted to push her back in the corner, with the two struggling back and forth.

Daisuke was pretty strong, even if you ignored the size and sex difference between them, and that was about what Valley expected from the onset. From what she could see of him - his record, his matches, word of mouth, and just looking at his model-worthy body - this wasn’t a man who skipped his days at the gym. Even with her strong legs, she was only able to him off so much, could only slow down the forward march and do nothing to halt it. In the end, she was going to end up with her back nearing the corner, closing in fast on the turnbuckles.

She was fine with that. She even encouraged it. ”If you insist…”

Daisuke wanted offense, and offense he got. As they neared the corner, Valley suddenly unlocked from the hold and jerked to the side, letting him fall past her. To make matters worse - or better, for her point of view - she shot her legs out, scissored his calves, and jerked hard to the right, attempting to trip him and making him fall face-first into the turnbuckle pads with a drop toehold.

Daisuke and Valley were locked in a hotly contested grapple. It was pretty even when the two initially locked up with Valley's lower body strength matching up against Daisuke's upper body. However, as the two went back and forth, Daisuke eventually managed to break the deadlock as he started to push Valley back towards the corner turnbuckle.

Daisuke played his usual stuff, taunting Valley as he gained the advantage. The Slamazon remained calm and allowed herself to be backed up to the corner and when the two were close enough, she broke off the grapple and nipped to the side, quickly scissoring his legs and trip him forward face first into the top turnbuckle in a drop tie hold.

"Nrgh!" he grunted as his face hit the turnbuckle and bounced back. Daisuke brought his hands up to his face as he staggered back before eventually stumbling down on his back.

*THUD*

Never stop moving. Never.

Valley’s plan worked like a charm, slamming Daisuke’s face off the turnbuckle and earning the first real hit of the match. She could’ve backed off, been a bit cocky, and given him a chance to recoup, but that wasn’t the mood she was in at the moment. Despite her glib attitude about the whole thing, she was taking him seriously as a competitor. That meant giving him absolutely zero slack.

She was already rolling away towards the corner when he hit the mat, flipping up to her feet right after with a smooth kip up. She only spared a quick look behind her, then leaped straight up, planted her feet of the middle turnbuckle, and vaulted off.

For a moment it looked she was going to come down with a simple moonsault, one of her mainstays, but she did a halfway rotation at the midway point of her flip, instead coming down him with her chest full on, looking to crash into him with a Phoenixsault.

Far too a many times has the wrestling prince's grapple battle either ending up in his favour, in which he would pin his opponent in the corner or the rare times in which he loses however, Daisuke was not prepared for a slick counter by Valley, which caused him to kiss the turnbuckle before stumbling down on his back. His hands clutched his face as he let out a small grunt, kicking the mats with his feet.

Meanwhile, Valley was already on the move- getting back up on her feet by a performing an impressive kip up which made the crowd cheer before bouncing off the middle ring rope to perform a Phoenixsault! Her body crashed down onto him, chest first, as Daisuke let out a moan as he was left winded out from that maneuver.

"Ouuuffff!" he cried out after the impact, looking to roll out from under her and shift onto his belly next to her.
