Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing! Empty Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing!

Match Type: Last Person Standing
Winning condition:Wrestlers wrestle until one of them is knocked out or unable to fight anymore. The referee must count to ten while the wrestler is laying down and the last person standing wins the match.

Daisuke was not sure how it came to this. The wrestling prince was sure that his last match against Valley was going to be his first and last one. The Friction wrestler didn't seem like the one to jump over to Tension but here we are, with Valley making her firm desire to jump over to Tension. Out of impulse, Daisuke had answered her call to a wrestling match and at first did his best to verbally drive her out of Tension, to make her take back her decision. That was obviously never going to happen and thus, the two agreed to a last person standing. Daisuke had never wrestled in this match before but was ready, he was ready to prove Valley wrong- she wasn't ready for Tension.

Daisuke:

Daisuke was backstage, already changed in his wrestling attire. He would put on a pair of black wrestling boots alongside matching elbow and knee pads. "Hmph" he said to himself, adjusting his briefs. He looked totally focused, he was going to be the Last MAN Standing. With a knock on his locker room door, it was time to head out and face Valley Doll. After the events that transpired earlier today, there was no way he was going to lose tonight.

He stood in the gorilla position, once his theme cued he would brush past the curtains and make his way down the ring ramp towards the ring. Daisuke stepped up the steel steps and entered the ring, quickly making his way to the middle of the ring and started to jump up and down in place while shaking his arms loose to calm his nerves and limber up.

Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing! Empty Re: Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing!

Deep breaths. In and out. Nice and slow.

Valley had thought she was beyond the jitters now, nearing her 35th year on the planet Earth, but she could feel just how untrue that was as she bounced back and forth in the gorilla position. There was a nervousness here, one she didn’t want to let Daisuke and the whole world see when she out in the ring.

This wasn’t her first match in Tension, but it was already her biggest. Last Man...or Person, or whatever...Matches were a test of stamina and grit, the core of any real wrestler. While failing here wasn’t enough to send her packing back to the Friction locker room, it would be a speedbump, and not a small one. The last thing she needed in her career right now.

She didn’t need to win. She needed to crush it.

So the Valley Doll that came out, waving to the fans as her theme music and bouncing along, was all smiles and high-fives. Inside, however, she was focused and razor sharp.

Valley hopped up onto the apron, grabbed the top, and yanked herself over, leaping high enough to come down near the center of the ring. She stuck the landing on foot and quickly started dancing from toe to toe, locking eyes with Daisuke right away.

”Ten seconds, Daisuke.” She held up the fingers, just to hammer the point home. ”That’s all I need.”

Daisuke patiently yet anxiously waited for Valley Doll. He may have lost the battle but he wasn't going to lose the war. Soon enough, the veteran wrestler made her entrance into the Tension arena, not as a foreign wrestler from Friction but as Tensions own. There was alot more cheers for her this time than in their previous match but Daisuke never did pay attention to the crowd's reaction.

When she made her way into the ring, Daisuke was already standing in the middle of the ring and limbering up. He was finished with his warm-ups before Valley's but soon enough she was done too. Valley would hold up ten fingers, making the point that all it was going to take was ten seconds. The wrestling prince would nod and then grin, "These will be the longest ten seconds of your life Valley, I promise you" he said.

Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing! Empty Re: Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing!

Yup. Daisuke hadn’t grown any less confident in the short span of time since Valley had last seen him, that was for sure.

‘Longest ten seconds of her life’. She didn’t reply to that with anything but a smirk, though she admired the seriousness. This wasn’t a match for a belt or anything serious, had no real stakes, wouldn’t affect their standings one way or another, but he was treating it like a big match of his career. She hoped the rest of her male opponents had the same sort of intensity, because it was exactly what she wanted to get out of this league.

The referee came in soon enough, cautiously looking between the two of them, and gave the signal for the bell to ring, kicking things off. Last time, Valley had challenged Daisuke to a classic collar and elbow, getting things started on a more classic note. This time, she decided to go with something just a little more aggressive.

The second that the ring’s echo hit her ears, Valley darted forward and covered the ground between them in a flash, quickly entering striking range on her opponent. With one foot planted firm, she leaned back, swung her leg up high, and tried to tag him square in the face with a powerful roundhouse kick, through her full weight and speed behind the blow, gambling on him being taken off guard by the sheer alacrity of it all.

Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing! Empty Re: Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing!

Despite being smothered into submission the last time the two faced off in the ring, it was true that the wrestling prince's confidence made it seem almost that it was Daisuke who won their last exchange but the truth was far from it.

Daisuke was serious about what he said, he was going to make sure her first match in Tension would be her last. Daisuke grinned when she had nothing to say but offer him a confident smirk, he knew the time for words were finished and not it was time for action. The ref came in and signaled for the bell to ring, signalling the start of the match.

Daisuke would loosen his arms and shoulders before darting in to engage Valley in a collar and elbow grapple. However, his efforts to engage in the grapple were thwarted when Valley had other ideas, who smacked the side of his head with a fierce roundhouse kick. Her foot hit his head hard and he wasn't ready for such a strike in the midst of going in for the grapple.

"Owwwww"!" he cried out in pain as he fell down on his back, clutching the side of his head.

Hm. Wow. That worked out much better than Valley had expected. She’d wanted to connect with the kick, obviously, but even she hadn’t imagined she’d do so well as to knock Daisuke on his back less than, what? Ten seconds? Had to be some kind of record.

Her first instinct was to go after him immediately and press the advantage, and Valley even took a single step forward with that purpose in mind. She cut herself off, though, after half a second of thought. Daisuke was clearly a man who took a lot of pride in, well...everything. Had ego to bruise, pegs in dire need of being knocked. Maybe she could work with that a little while she was fresh.

Instead of going on the attack, Valley raised her hands up behind her head, turned about, and skipped away with a whistle, casually walking towards the ropes with a swing in her hips.

The referee looked between them, shrugged, then immediately started the count. Daisuke was down, and even if he’d clearly be up soon, the rules were the rules.

”1…!”

His eagerness to test himself in a grapple against the veteran got the better of him and Valley took full advantage of that opening. With the wrestling prince running at her opponent with the hopes of a clean grapple battle- Valley had other ideas when she waited for him to get in the perfect distance before unleashing a powerful roundhouse kick that caught him clean against the side of his head- rattling him.

With the sheer force and sudden timing of the attack, Daisuke fell flat on his back and clutched his head. Whilst Daisuke moaned in pain, he lifted his head up to see Valley raising her hands up behind her head and skipped away, swinging her hips.

Daisuke gritted his teeth and slowly sit up, before rising back up to his feet with the referee barely even getting to the "two" count mark. Daisuke was pissed, how could he be so careless in his offence?!"Hmph, fine" he said with a shrug of his shoulders. Daisuke would once again raise his arms, this time he would be a bit more cautious, circling her around as he slowly closed in the gap.

Once he felt he was close enough, he would attempt to feign a grapple and dip behind her, looking to wrap his arms around her waist to control her in a waistlock, squeezing her.

Pride.

That was what it came down to with Daisuke, at the end of the day. It was pride that started this whole thing, pride that made him go for a rematch in the first place, and pride was still biting him in the ass, even now. Valley could’ve kept on attacking him, could’ve hit him with something that would’ve gotten a real count, but striking him in that big, prideful weakspot? No, that was too easy to pass up.

Sure enough, Daisuke popped back up before the referee could even start pronouncing the ‘two’, suitably riled from taking the first fall. She spun around to face him and dropped down into a ready stance of her own, arms out and open, eager to take him on. ”Performance issues?” She did a quick skip, dancing with him. ”We’re just getting started, Daisuke.”

He came in like a bull, all strong and sure, but with something of a plan going on this time - a deft maneuver put him behind, grabbing her around the waist. That could be the start of a bunch of bad things she wanted no part of, so Valley dip forward, swung around, and tried to clock him with an elbow to the jaw, hoping to shut him down before he could make anything out of the hold.

Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing! Empty Re: Daisuke Takeuchi vs Valley Doll- Last Person Standing!

Post by Teenwrestler Tue May 14, 2019 11:15 am

It was a well known fact that the wrestling prince had a bit of an ego problem. His pride had been the downfall for him one too many times yet for him it was the most important part of his wrestling career. The belief that he was so much better than the rest, the belief that he was destined to be on top of everyone else and be considered the best.

Against Valley, his strong and prideful words were of no use as to beat a veteran like her, he had to rely on his wrestling ability more than anything. With that, he began to circle around with his opponent and looked for an opening "Hmph" he would simply reply before lunging in and trapping her in a waistlock.

Daisuke squeezed her firmly but Valley responded quickly by dipping forward and swinging her hips around to allow herself to manuever around enough to send her elbow against Daisuke's jaw. The prince groaned in pain and was forced to release her from the waistlock but in return, he would attempt to strike her back with a stiff forearm strike to her upper back. If that worked, Daisuke would follow up by blatantly grabbing her hair and yanking it in an effort to send her down on her back.

It was a little rougher than Valley liked to get, a little closer to the MMA cage than the wrestling ring, but her escape attempt was effective enough to earn her release from Daisuke’s grip. A solid, clean impact, right on the jaw, one that sent a shock through her arm. Couldn’t imagine how painful it was for the big lug, and it created a good opportunity for her to get away.

Or so she thought, until she took a hard blow to her back, making her stumble forward. He was quick to take advantage of that, too, reaching out to get a tight grip of her hair, pulling her back.

She was going down. Where her hair went, her head had to follow, and her body was coming along for the ride. But that didn’t mean she couldn’t make him pay for it in the meantime.

Instead of struggle against the pull, she fell back with it. At the same time, she threw her leg up, let it arch over, and attempted to clock Daisuke square in the face with her signature move - the Pele Kick.
