By your powers combined

"Cyclone tag tournament?" Adrian Kytes read, a poster slapped against the wall just outside the AFW complex gym and in plain view of anyone who wanted to spend the day working out while the ring was repaired from the fire the day before. That and Adrian going and messing up the reconstruction by holding a Hardcore title match during the process but details aside: it was gym day for both her and the giant Amazon behind her.

"What's with the naming scheme?" Rebecca Tomko, the ebony giantess asked "This is like the third one: Storm, Lightning now Cyclone." she pointed out, stretching her neck before walking through the double doors, Adrian scurrying behind her.

"Maybe it's because it's all Tornado tag matches?" Adrian suggested, taking a sip from a water bottle before the duo headed off for the treadmills. Time for some cardio work "Still, sounds like something that might be cool." she sighed before thumbing in the speed settings and starting to jog. "Too bad."

"Too bad for what?" Rebecca asked, setting her treadmill to a significantly lower setting. Big legs helped her run, but there was a lot more of her to keep moving than the former cosplayer. "Oh right. Hardcore scene." she mumbled.

"Yeaaah..." Adrian groaned as she started to pick up speed, bouncing up and down in the mirror as she ran in time with the machine "Don't think they'll be happy about me trying to stick myself in a tourney when I'll probably have to be in a title match when the finals get done."

"Sucks."

Ever with the keen eye, Diana Accera too had too seen the poster for another upcoming tournament. What was worthy of note, that with her stature, this was the first actual tournament the Italian actually qualified for since entering AFW. But as ever, with a one track mind, Diana overlooked the poster as she continued her somewhat erratic stroll down the gym hallways. She may have qualified, but who the hell would partner with her? And what would she gain, sharing the fight with another?

Ever the one for sharing the thrill of the fight with just one, Diana made her way somewhat carelessly nudging past the many patrons of the gym at prime time hour. Clad in her lazy hoody and jeans, she didn't need to be in a rush to find the woman she was searching for. Rebecca Tomko was clearly a regular patron of the gym. All you had to do was look at her to figure that out.

Finally entering into the main workout area, Diana again somewhat quickly paced across the floor, closing the distance with an inmistakable figure.

"Yo!" She'd mutter, as ever careless to see if Rebecca was actually busy with something. "We need to ta.." She'd suddenly find herself interrupted, as she caught a gaze of the woman next to Rebecca. She certainly hadn't met the character before, but was sure she'd seen such a face before, completely blank to the fact she was staring right at AFW's current Hardcore champion. Shaking it off, she'd resume her attempt at a conversation.

"We need to talk. Rematch. One on one says I got your ass this time."

Rebecca was already working up a sweat, by the time she saw Diana in the gym mirror walk up behind her and immediately challenge the amazon, small beads of water running down her sculpted back as she smashed a few controls in, slowing the treadmill to a crawl before it stopped completely, letting the floor shake as she stepped down off the machine to get into the raven haired Italian woman's face.

The two had a few meetings before, most notably the match where the two had done their best to crush and break the other, and while that had been it's own sort of thrill, her neck had been sore for a week afterwards, the giantess was not as eager to get back in the ring with the Italian. "Really?" she asked, stepping up to Diana. "Look... you were a tough opponent, a good match and all that." Rebecca admitted, slapping a towel over her shoulders. "But are we really gonna do the rematch thing? If you win, I'm probably just gonna go 'best two out of three' and it's gonna just keep going." the ebony giantess tried to explain, while she was technically short on matches. She didn't want to get stuck in 50/50 loops with the hardbodied Italian.

"Like you're supposed to be keeping going on the treadmill?" Adrian called back, still running along at a quick pace. "Five K run is a five k run." the champ pointed out, trying to get Rebecca back on the treadmill and back to training.

In all fairness, Diana didn't specifically care about an official win over the ebony giant, or even an official match for that matter. Whilst her body was aching in all the worst places after the match, with some brutal pain being applied after the Italian had actually passed out courtesy of Rebecca 'assuring herself' of the KO, Diana had gained somewhat of a thirst for the adrenaline that was running rabid in the match.

Then again, she was somewhat sure of the answer before Rebecca even spoke. This might of been the first time Diana asked for a rematch face-to-face, but the Italian had somewhat spammed the woman's inbox with requests of another spar.

She tilted her head back to the woman who shouted, somewhat peering over the amazons huge shoulder, as she looked back to Rebecca with a somewhat smug grin, despite being refused her offer.

"You're the biggest woman in this place...tch...why the hell are YOU doing cardio..." She'd smugly mutter, before apparently beginning to turn, slowly looking to make an exit.

"Cardio's important." Rebecca said defensively, it was important, and she'd been neglecting it for just more strength training, much like Adrian often neglected strength for cardio. "I uh... people, you don't stay down easy, so I gotta be able to keep going too." the giantess tried to explain before turning back to the treadmill, mumbling to herself about how much she had to go. At her speed a 5km run was going to take ages. But now that Diana was here, maybe there was a way out of this. "Actually..." the ebony woman said, a smile creeping onto her face. "Since you're desperate to get back in the ring with me... do you have a tag partner?"

Diana's eyes had already fallen somewhat to her phone, as she rudely turned her back to Rebecca as the amazon began stating her response. Diana knew of course the importance of cardio, even for a woman like Rebecca who could dominate everyone and anyone with pure strength. Strength didn't matter if you couldn't keep the body going long enough to catch your damn foe. She'd already gained a few metres away whilst she browsed her phone, before a certain "actually" caught her ear. She refused Diana's match offer, what possibly else could she think would interest the Italian?

Diana would turn her head, eyebrows both curious and serious, the very look on her face screaming 'What? Are you serious?' back to the amazon. She'd slide her phone back into her jeans, as she took a few steps back towards the now running amazon. "Tag. Partners. Me and you..." Diana muttered, stepping back towards Rebecca, for what could only be a interesting conversation at best...
