Wrestle Angels Showdown (Katori vs Chizuru)

Chizuru charged forward but Katori-chan was just one step ahead, the girl was far too quick. The brunette's arm met nothing but air as Katori dropped at the very last second. She dropped face first to the floor as Katori scissored her legs effectively taking her legs out from underneath her. The brunette let out a grunt as she hissed getting to all fours slowly rubbign her forehead after essentially running into the mat face first. She let out a chuckling grunt berating herself for being over aggression.

Katori's quick thinking and maneuvering has successfully made her colleague drop on her face with the Scissor Sweep, slightly wincing as she saw it happen. Dropping on your face always hurts and is hard to watch, but it's certainly effective for sure. Katori will sit up and push up to her feet while looking at Chizuru with another smirk.

"You're right Chizuru-san, there IS no shame in losing to your betters!" She says when the Suplex Otaku got on all fours, Katori will go over to her and drop her knee on top of Chizuru's upper back to flatten her down on the mat while using it to pin her down.

With that the Successor will reach for one of the brunette's legs to pull back and wrap over her neck to apply a Stretch Muffler on her fellow Angel. "So don't feel so bad after I beat you!" Katori taunts in a friendly way, cranking on Chizuru's leg in the submission to put pressure on her and weaken that leg a bit.

Vulnerable, Chizuru couldn't defend herself or see Katori coming when she flattend her back onto the mat. She braced the ground trying to push herself back up but Katori was already quick to apply the submission. Before she knew it, Chizuru was forced into a stretch muffler. The brunette's eyes expanded as she bit back a scream, the pain shot through her spine as Katori pulled back on her leg causing pain to shoot from her hip and lower back.

She let out a grunt as Katori let her have a taste of her medicine which she reluctantly had to swallow.

"Well, I suppose that cuts both ways..." She said through gritted teeth with one eye open as she grimaced in pain.

Katori has gained the upper hand over her fellow angel after countering her Clothesline attempt, trapping her in a basic but painful Stretch Muffler as the Successor bent and torqued Chizuru's leg with her hands gripped on her ankle and thigh while pinning her down with her knee. While not a submission user mainly and definitely not a heel, Katori cannot deny that the feeling of being on top and dominating an opponent with a submission felt good.

"Do you give up, Chizuru-san?" She'll ask with that competitive smirk on her face still, as she amps up the pressure to bend Chizuru's leg back more. But Katori was a nice girl, not a sadist like most, and so doesn't bend it too much to cause a serious injury to her colleague.

But still wants to encourage the brunette to submit to the Mighty Successor regardless and win.

"Hah!" Chizuru let out a pained laugh at Katori's words. Although Katori couldn't see her face, Chizuru had a pained smile on her face.

The pain of Katori's submission hold shot through her spine and hip. Chizuru could tell Katori was steadily adding pain and being careful not to cause any long-term injury. The brunette had to smile at her opponent's cheeky comment combined with her polite wrestling edict. She really was Yukiko's disciple.

"Gomen... Katori-chan." Chizuru said bracing the ground with her hands. "But I'm far too thickheaded to give up!"

The girl would push her upper body off the ground and got on her elbows. She bit down hard on her teeth as she abruptly felt a more painful jolt of pain from her hip from the action. After a forced long breath, Chizuru began crawling toward the bottom rope dragging their combined weight with her arms at a steady pace.

Katori has held her fellow angel in this submission for quite a while now, and so far hasn't offered any resistance still while under her. While this did worry the successor a bit, she was still being careful not to overdo it and overly hurt Chizuru too much. Since she remembered Chizuru actually broke her leg once early in her career and didn't want that to happen to her again.

It took a bit, but Chizuru finally answered back to Katori, apologizing to her and saying in a nutshell that she won't give up to her. "Come on, just give-!" Katori started to say but then saw Chizuru press her hands against the mat.

"Huh? Whoa!" She let out as she was startled by her colleague's sudden lift off of the mat with brute force alone. The surprise push up actually threw Katori off balance a bit and her knee was no longer pressed in Chizuru's back. But she still had her leg in her tight grip, but because of her opponent's crawling she wasn't able to utilize the Stretch Muffler effectively right now.

Chizuru let out an unsteady breath, enduring the pain from Katori's submission as she made steady progress despite feeling her hip strain from the hold. The brunette felt more pressure on her lower back, hip and leg. However, it was better to be out of the hold faster. Chizuru told herself it was just pain not a concussive blow or a strangling choke, she would just have to endure it.

"Heh... like I said far too stubborn!" Chizuru said as she felt a bead of run down her forehead and down her face. She closed one eye to keep it from stinging her eye. With a final grunt of effort, Chizuru would shoot her arm and try to grasp the bottom rope.

"Rope Break!" The ref would cal out as Chizuru squeezed it with white knuckles panting a little from the excursion. As soon as her opponent was forced to let go, she would roll away onto her stomach and attempt to get to her feet wiping the back of her mouth with forearm.

Katori struggled badly to maintain her submission because of her opponent's crawling, showing exactly why submissions aren't her shtick, as any actual submission user like Shizuku Himuro would have been able to adapt to what happens and properly hold the submission. On top of the fact, it's as Chizuru said, while being strong as an ox she's also stubborn as a mule, having managed to overcome the hold and grab the ropes.

"Damn." The successor let out as she releases Chizuru's leg and watches her roll away. Katori didn't even need the ref to tell her to let go, she did so the second her colleague touched the ropes. Now, she could follow up with maybe knocking her down here, but Katori had something else in mind.

Katori will quickly move over to the nearest corner and climb up onto the turnbuckle, before turning around to face Chizuru. She'll wait until the Suplex Otaku stands back up, and once she does, Katori will jump off of the turnbuckle at Chizuru and throw both her legs forward to attempt to nail her with a Missile Dropkick.

After escaping the hold, Chizuru got to her feet from her knees, she looked up just in time to see Katori had just perched herself on a ring post. Giving Chizuru very little time to take a breather, Katori went for a dropkick. The brunette barely reacted in time as she side stepped away and turned towards her opponent so she was perpendicular to her narrowly avoiding the dropkick. She would snatch Katori right out of the air by getting her arms underneath her in a bridal carry position. With a grunt of effort, she would bend her knees and toss Katori up slightly before letting her go as if she were about to make a serve in volleyball, making her float in the air for just a fraction of a second. In that instant, Chizuru switched grips grabbing at her chin and knee before slamming Katori’s spine into her knee.

Katori was airborne as she was flying at Chizuru to nail her with a Dropkick from the Turnbuckle. Considering her fellow angel was fresh from a submission hold, clearly in pain, Katori was certain that when the girl wouldn't be able to dodge the attack at all. But lo and behold, Chizuru had managed to dodge to the side at the last second, and not only that, she managed to catch Katori while she was in the air causing the Successor to go wide eyed in surprise!

"Whoa, what?!" She shouted out in pure shock, as Katori was then in for a wild ride as Chizuru carried her like a Princess for a while, but that wasn't the end of it. Chizuru took advantage of the blunette's vulnerability in her grip by tossing her up and then using her arms to bring her back down to slam Katori down hard on her knee, with not just gravity bringing her back down, but also with her own sheer force to amplify the effectiveness of the drop! "Ahhh...!!" She let out in pain when she was slammed, and unless Chizuru pins her down on her knee with her hands, Katori will bounce off her and land on her front to clutch at her back.
