Reunion of Rivals

Following after her match with Misaki Toyoda, Katori walked through the backstage area slowly and weakly until she made it to the locker rooms. Despite losing her debut match, she had a wide smile on her face while humming. Katori had a great time tonight and didn't care at all whatsoever that she had lost the match, for just the thrill she experienced tonight having got back into wrestling was the best feeling ever for her.

"Ahhhhhh.... tonight was amazing." She said while bringing the towel she was given before leaving the arena and wiping the sweet from her face. "Truly is great to be back in the game~" Katori said once more with the wide grin remaining on her face in which she chuckles mischievously while thinking of her many big brothers back at home, wondering what the look of their faces would be after seeing her back in the wrestling ring once again. Since after the shut down of Wrestle Angels, they thought she was out of the wrestling game for good, but Katori was more then GLAD to prove them wrong and wanted to laugh in their faces!

As she walks across the lanes, she was slightly confused and lost because of one thing. While she was told the number of her locker, she wasn't sure which row it was in. "Ummmm, which row was it again?" She asked herself before looking up, finally, and seeing the locker number section up above and the row she was looking for being right in front of her. "Oh here we go!" She slowly jogs down the hall to head for her locker, Katori REALLY couldn't wait to change out of her leotard and take a nice warm and hot shower after a hard fought match to sooth the soul.

Riyu entered the locker room, not in her ring gear. While it had been a while since her last match, the green haired wrestler always tried to show up when a former Wrestle Angel girl showed up in AFW. One she hadn't expected though, was for Katori, the girl she trained under Mighty Yukiko with, to actually show up here.

The two had practically grown up together, spending their early and mid teens as Mighty Yukiko's students, training everyday after school. It only lasted a couple years, before the league folded, but they worked hard in those days, and had a small rivalry between themselves throughout the entire run. Riyu would have been content to just not think of her, but with her in AFW now, she decided it was best to just deal with her now.

Spotting the girls colorful hair, Riyu walked up to her and clapped slowly.

"Well, well, well...long time no see Katori. Been what, a couple years now?"

Katori was humming a tune before she got to her locker with a cheery smile on her cute face. She puts in the combination for her locker to open it and starts to take off her outfit starting with her lavender short jacket. "Hmhumhmmhmmm... hm?" Soon Katori hears a voice call to her, and her face immediately scans for it as she recognizes the voice anywhere.

It was her old rival and fellow disciple of Mighty Yukiko, Riyu Kikuchi from Wrestle Angels. Katori's eyes widen in surpise but soon her grin widens too in a joyous way. "Ahh, Riyu! It sure has been a while." She said to her, showing that she is rather happy at seeing her old colleague again after all this time. Even if they were very competitive rivals, and probably still will be, Katori was still nice and friendly towards Riyu and gave her the respect she deserved and never treated her wrongly.

After tending to her jacket and properly hung it up in the locker Katori sat down in the bench as she started to take off her boots, but at the same time she kept her face on Riyu with her smile still on it. "I kinda figured you'd might come here too, but how's it going? I never heard from you once ever since the WA went under."

"Yeah, I got busy. Training, finishing school and all that, I only came her myself about a year ago to be honest."

Riyu stepped closer, leaning against one of the lockers, remembering the "old" days in Wrestle Angels. Her and Katori, training all the time, every in ring spar ending up more aggressive than it really needed to be, Yukiko sometimes having to pull them apart. It was funny.

"Honestly, I haven't heard from any of the old WA crew since it folded a couple years ago. Have you?"

"I still talk to and sometimes see Sonia-chan and Hiyoko-chan, our fellow trainees if you forgotten them, but aside from them I haven't heard or seen anyone else."

Katori said after taking off her boots and putting them in her locker then going for her elbow and knee pads, smiling once more as the memories of her training days back in Wrestle Angels with her friends flowed back at once. It was all good times, even the parts where Katori and Riyu got very serious with their sparring matches as if they were real matches and even making bets on things like Yukiko's curry eating contest with fellow WA wrestler Shiho Kobayakaya. Good times, very good times.

"And I've actually been signed up for AFW for a while yet it took them a long time to get me a match." It really was annoying on for the management to take as long as it did to get the girl a match, at least they did give her one though and that is what counts now. "But at least it was worth the wait, I had loads of fun tonight."

Riyu nodded. She remembered the girls she had trained with, but like she had with Katori, she had long dropped out of contact with them.

"You did pretty good out there tonight. These girls though? They're at a tougher level than any of the girls we sparred with of watched Yuki...Senpai fight."


She crossed her arms, leaning against one of the lockers, looking a little awkward.

"You uh...you ever hear from her since the league folded?"

"Thank you, I did my best against Misaki-san but she was tough. I can't wait to take her on again!" Katori was resisting the exciting urge to express her great joy in having fought the Berserk Ace, she'd be bouncing off the walls if she did and in her current state she shouldn't do that. Yet she took in deep breaths to calm down and resumed taking her outfit off while talking to Riyu.

When she began undoing her leotard she turned her head to face her old rival at the mention Yukiko as Riyu was now acting weird. "No I have not, I've seen or heard from Yukiko-senpai at all. The only time I sorta did was when she had that one shot match here in AFW against Rumble Rose's Reiko Hinomoto." Katori answered before turning around with her back towards Riyu once she pulled down her outfit and stepped out of it, picking it up to put in the locker before grabbing her clothes and bag with a bigger towel to cover herself up with then shutting the locker.

As Katori sports a wide smile on her face and hums a tune once she turns back towards Riyu, she begins to walk towards her and stops next to her then looks at her in the eye. "I'm gonna take a shower, care to join me?" She asked as she tilts her head, they may rivals but Katori does enjoy the time she spends with her.

Riyu smiled a little at the offer. It wasn't an unusual one. During their training days in the WA, they spent every day after school working out together, sparring together, and showering off after before attending that nights matches and occasionally getting to work in the ring themselves in matches.

"Eh, I'll pass. When your done though, lets get some lunch, catch up some more. I'll meet you in the cafeteria."

She said, starting to turn to leave, before turning back around, smirking a little.

"Open that towel up first, I wanna see if you still got that cute butt."

She joked, before heading out, heading to AFW's cafeteria area to await Katori after she showered off and changed.

"Alright then, I'll see you then." Katori started to say as Riyu kindly refused her offer to have a shower then kept walking to the shower stalls. But once she heard what her colleague said she got flustered and turned red and quickly turns back around to face Riyu. "Mouu! That's not funny, Riyu!" She said back with a little embarrassed pout before turning back to head for the stalls.

After starting up the water and letting it warm up for a bit, Katori steps in and immediately lets out a relaxing sigh as she lets the warm water run down her body, feeling all of her aches and pains slowly lift away. "Ahhhhhh, just what the doctor ordered..." Of course the wondrous feel of the hot water wasn't a miracle cure, her body was still sore from her match but at least she'll feel better after this and with needed rest. Katori spent a good 20 minutes in the shower, cleaning her body thoroughly and enjoying the feel before the water started to get cold, which was Katori's cue to finish up.

Once Katori got out of the shower and dried herself off with her towel she put on her clothes and put her hair back in her usual style with her cinnamon bun hair spirals and girlish pigtails before going to meet up with Riyu at the cafeteria.

She made her way through the hallways of AFW, recalling her time in Wrestle Angels as she did, before reaching the cafeteria and going over to where Riyu was. "Sorry if I kept you waiting, Riyu." Katori said as she sat at the table across from her rival.

The green haired girl looked up from her small plate of steamed veggies as her equally colorful haired friend sat down across from her, finishing chewing and swallowing a nice carrot before speaking.

"You're fine, don't worry about it. Figured you might be hungry after your match is all, its nice that AFW supplies us with free food here if we want it."

Riyu smiled, taking a swig of water before continuing to talk.

"So you really did pretty well in your match tonight Katori, where have you kept your practice up in these last couple years since WA folded?"
