For Mother Russia! Anastasia Rukoviska vs. Bloodmark

Hardcore Match decided by KO or Submission, No DQ and Anything Goes

The Friction ring was once again filled with roaring fans who are excited and anxious for this new match coming up. This time, it's going to feature two female fighters from Russia. It is stereotypical to say that Russians are usually no-nonsense, tough, and merciless when it comes to fighting. It may be true, but not every person from that country is like that. In this case though, the one debuting is definitely living up to that description and she's about to come out right...now.

The lights would slowly dim as the crowds quieted down to see the first fighter appear. Suddenly on the titantron, there was the sound of a gun rapidly firing bullets and blood started to trickle down from the top of the screen to the bottom until it was depleted. As "Breeding Insanity" by No Warning started to play its intro, the blood was clearing up and one word would remain on it: "Bloodmark". Then there came the sound of a motorcycle starting its engine and lights would shine brightly from it. The music now became hardcore as the spotlights shined on the mysterious biker with a crimson red helmet as it raised up a gun (that was filled with blank bullets just for show). She started to ride down the walkway and around the ring a few times as she fired those blanks up in the air, making the crowd cheer for her and fear her. When she was finished, she parked her motorcycle off to the side and got off to remove her helmet.

This woman was none other than Bloodmark and her true appearance alone could intimidate many brave souls. She would climb into the ring and walked over to the center, looking at the fans left and right. And just as the song was closing, she raised up her gun once more and let those blank bullets fly as she screamed up into the sky as she was ready to dish out some pain to her opponent.

In about as much contrast to the extravagant and boisterous show that her opponent had put on as possible, Anastasia's entrance was incredibly calm and melancholy, fitting with the timid girl that slowly made her way down the ramp and towards the ring. The calm, but traditional tones of Joan Baez' "Donna Donna," were not accompanied by any flashing lights, exciting acrobatics or mock weaponry, and whether this won the hearts of the crowd or bored them to the point that they wanted to see the one who put them through it suffer mattered little to Anastasia. To her, this match was retribution. Not for her, but for the country she had left behind. She had a reason to believe her opponent would take this match personally, and it was not in her nature to fault her opponent for that.

Despite having a few public matches under her belt, it still seemed as though the tiny girl was embarrassed by the revealing nature of her costume as she wrapped both arms across her belly. She climbed into her corner of the ring without a word, and hardly a glance in her opponent's direction. It was not in their culture to talk unnecessarily, and besides, now was the time for action, not words.

Bloodmark observed her opponent as she made her entrance and she seemed more passive and soft than hardcore. She did have a nice figure, but that can only go so far. While Anastasia was getting into her own corner, Bloodmark would think to herself, "So you think you can just leave Mother Russia behind when it already gave you a home? This is how you repay her?! All traitors of our country shall pay!"

In a few moments, she would get off of her corner and start walking towards the center of the ring while getting into her fighting stance. She's hoping her opponent would follow so the referee can start the match.

Anastasia's opponent clearly had played herself up to look intimidating, her whole attire screaming violence and aggression, but what affected Anastasia the most was what she saw in her opponent's eyes: rage. The costumes and posturing could be for any opponent, but the rage was for Anastasia alone, and she was prepared to accept it. As she approached the center of the ring, she raised her arms as well to signal that she was ready, though not in much of any sort of technical stance, and bowed her head politely. The fact that the two of them both spoke Russian meant she could speak without her usual accent and mispronunciations getting in the way, though there was not much to say here. Looking into Bloodmark's eyes, she simply gave a brief "I'm sorry," before the bell rang, signaling the start of the match.

Bloodmark continued to keep her eye on Anastasia as she got out of her corner and started walking towards her. Anastasia too got in her fighting stance as she raised her arms and bowed her head to her. Bloodmark did the same to show that she understands the rules and is ready to go. But she was a little confused with her opponent's brief words before the bell rang. "Sorry? Sorry for what?"

When the bell rang, Bloodmark would make an offer for a test of strength. She wanted Anastasia to lock hands with her so she can see how strong she is compared to her.

Anastasia moved in as the bell rang, locking fingers with her opponent and trying her best, but failing, to make eye contact as she did. Her usual timid nature was present her tenfold, and she found herself holding back during the test of strength, unsure how she should approach this fight. If it were up to her, it wouldn't be a fight at all, but in a way, perhaps this Bloodmark was an angel of vengeance, here to punish her for what happened to her family and for leaving it all behind.

Bloodmark would feel Anastasia's hands and fingers lock with each other and the test of strength would proceed from there. However, she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in confusion due to the fact that her opponent seems to be holding back. This was making the push a bit TOO easy for her.

Nonetheless, Bloodmark had to her part to gain an early lead in this match. She would try to continue pushing until Anastasia is on her knees. This can show her superiority being that this is her first match.

Even if she was not as strong as most of her opponents, Anastasia was considerably stronger than she looked, and the fact that she was putting up little resistance during this test of strength belied that fact. Still, she couldn't help it, she felt like she had already done something wrong and the match had hardly started. Because of this, she continued to falter in their test of strength, until Bloodmark had pushed her back and down onto her knees, towering over the already tiny girl even further.

When Bloodmark grasped hands with Anastasia, she was expecting her to at least put up a good fight in this test. But the way Anastasia was putting up little resistance was quite underwhelming. In fact, it was almost too easy to get the other girl on her knees and at her mercy. Bloodmark would give her opponent a menacing glare in her eyes as if she was gonna kill for even holding back from a serious fight.

She would now try to push further until Anastasia was down on her back. If this worked, she would quickly go on top and sit on her stomach before releasing the hold on her hands and start throwing down punches for a little ground and pound.

By the time she had reached her knees, Anastasia didn't really have the leverage to push back properly if she even wanted to. As Bloodmark pushed down on her, she was soon forced to her back, more gently than she was expecting for this match. What was less gentle were the punches that started to strike her face as Bloodmark had mounted her belly and started pounding on the small girl. Instinctually, Anastasia threw up her arms toward her face, trying to protect herself from the fury of blows.
