Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! 207mcjt

Ayaka Was never nervous. It just wasn't her style. Nerves never got to her. Ok. Sometimes they got to her. Upon hearing that she had gotten her first ever official match in the AFW secured, Ayaka spent the proceeding week on a training spree at the gym. Ayaka was determined to show the best of herself in this match. It would be just like any street fight she had ever done; a simple in and out job. Go in, beat someone up. Get paid. Simple. Well maybe not so simple. The calibre of fighters here at the AFW was far beyond anything she had ever seen. She had seen the videos of the hardcore fights here, the brutality of them all. Something that made her lips curl into a smile every time. For now however, a warm up match. Something to get her inducted into the league. A shining beacon of things to come.

Backstage, Ayaka was checking her clothes one last time. Making sure that her skirt was on tight enough that it wouldn't fall down mid match. Something that had been playing on her mind recently. Despite all her training, Ayaka hadn't had time to check out her opponent. The only research she had managed to get was that she wasn't a veteran, so there was no reason for Ayaka to panic about being outclassed. Soon after she had finished, the backstage manager pointed Ayaka towards the ramp entrance, making her way there, Ayaka breathed deeply. This was it, the point of no return. It was time to go out there and shine brightly. Show the world that someone new had arrived. Usually Ayaka was a quiet and emotionless person, but as her music blared up suddenly Ayaka was over come with happiness and even some small speckles of joy. Almost running out onto the ramp, Ayaka threw her arms up to the crowd as she began the walk down to the ring. This place was huge. She had imagined that there was going to be a fair few people here. But not this many. Oh well. More people to please then.

Sturting, waving and generally being receptive, Ayaka made her way to the ring, climbing in before doing a circuit of the ring before going into the centre to take the microphone off the referee.

"Good Evening Tokyo! Now. None of you will know who I am. But that's OK. Soon you will know. My name is Ayaka Kurata. And I plan to destroy this league one wrestler at a time. And I won't stop, until I reach the top!" As she was speaking out, she was pumping herself up. Not to mention the crowd too.Being Japanese had an advantage, being on home turf always made a crowd more receptive. "SO let's bring on my first victim/challenger!" Ayaka pushed the Microphone back to the Referee, swinging her arms around in circles while she waited to see who came down the ramp.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by Daaharu Tue Sep 22, 2015 8:04 am

Kimmy knew how this game worked now. She wasn't a rookie anymore—at least, not exactly. She knew when to expect her entrance music to begin to play after her opponent's stopped. She knew the fastest route through the maze of corridors and curtains that led to the top of the ramp leading into the arena. She knew where the nearest bathrooms were to the changing room where she prepared herself for the fight. She wasn't exactly a veteran yet, but she sure as hell was going to act like she was once she got out there and faced down this new wrestler.

Kimmy had taken a little bit of time to look up the girl she was going to wrestle against. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be much information about her on the internet, other than the wrestler page on the AFW site which listed her height, weight, and a few other important facts about her. There was nothing that could give Kimmy much of a sense of what this girl was like. The Brooklyn Bruiser would be flying in essentially blind, hoping that she was able to outsmart this girl who had apparently never done much formal wrestling at all. From her picture, she seemed tough. And, from the little spiel she gave upon entering the arena, she doubtlessly thought that she was tough. The crowd seemed to appreciate her candor—in large part because she was a hometown girl, no doubt.

"Don't Slow Down" began to play, and Kimmy took a deep breath. She thought back to her match with Valley Doll, and all that she had learned from the older wrestler. Kimmy had sent the experienced Californian a couple of texts over the last week, asking for advice about training or about navigating the strange world of AFW. Kimmy was really lucky that her first match had been with Valley Doll. She imagined this second match would not be quite so pleasant, judging by the introduction her opponent had given herself.

Kimmy emerged from backstage, putting a hand up in acknowledgement of the crowd as she hurried down the ramp into the arena. As she approached the ring, she would glance from side to side, acknowledging with a couple of waves a few particular fans. Her cheering section was actually much bigger than that the typical wrestler might have after just a single AFW match, thanks to Valley Doll's efforts to win over the crowd for Kimmy at the beginning of their fight. Now, those fans, Kimmy hoped, would spur her on to victory over this Ayaka.

When the referee offered Kimmy the microphone, she would take it, though she didn't have much to say. She licked her lips, glanced from the referee over to her purple-haired opponent, and would speak: "Good luck trying to make me into a 'victim.' It's gonna be interesting. 'Sides that...I'll just let my fighting do the talking, okay?" Kimmy got a healthy round of applause as she would hand the microphone back to the referee and move over into her corner to begin warming up.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by jakeb1993 Tue Sep 22, 2015 7:16 pm

As Ayaka drifted towards her corner, she noticed the opening notes of her opponents theme. Ayaka didn't notice the music right away, but her brain wasn't focusing on the music properly. She was focusing more on the person arriving with the music. Ayaka knew that it was wrong to make assumptions based just on looks. In this case however, Ayaka couldn't help herself. This wasn't the right time to make silly assumptions, this match was too important. But still here she was; making stupid assumptions. On initial looks, Ayaka pretty much dismissed her opponent. Noticing that she was smaller than Ayaka, and as a result most likely lighter, giving her two vital advantages already. As for everything else about her, it didn't truly matter really. Ayaka had already determined in her head that this match was as good as hers. At first it might be a struggle, but eventually she would end up outclassing the little woman and before you know it... Victory.

The result of all this internal thinking while Kimmy made her way down the ramp, resulted with Ayaka having a smirk plastered to her face as Kimmy climbed into the ring. Paying close attention, Ayaka listened to every single word the woman spoke. It seemed that she was in humble mode, mentioning that she would let her fighting to the talking. Much to the annoyance of Ayaka, it seemed a fair few in the crowd were behind this woman. Maybe her first match went well? . As Kimmy went into her corner to limber up, Ayaka did the same. She focused on loosening her arms and making sure her swinging motion was not stiff; after all she was going to need it alot during this match while she was almost punching this woman into a coma.

When she was finished with her preparations, Ayaka drifted rather casually to the centre of the ring, almost inviting, no, begging Kimmy to join her with the way she stared down at Kimmy. While the height difference was not as bad as Ayaka thought (Being on a elevated platform did wonders to mess up your height perception) it still worked in Ayaka's minor advantage. After spending a few seconds staring down, Ayaka would go back to swinging her arms aggressively while Kimmy was joining them.

"I do feel bad for you y'know? I need to make an example of you to make a statement. Nothing personal. I would say no hard feelings. But after this you are going to be having many hard and hurtful feelings all over your body!" Ayaka grew a wider smirk, looking completely at peace with herself. She was loving and lapping every single moment she had here. She had only been in the ring for less than five minutes, but she could already see that she was going to be at home here. Everything was going to be fine. Once Kimmy had gotten ready too and joined them, the Referee would signal for the bell to start the match!

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by Daaharu Wed Sep 23, 2015 5:49 pm

As she stretched herself out and went through her final preparations for the match, Kimmy looked over this evening's opponent, noting the girl's toned physique and slightly taller stature. By the way this Ayaka was warming up, Kimmy felt that she could get a good idea of the girl's way of fighting. She didn't seem like she had much formal wrestling experience, confirming the assumption that Kimmy had made backstage after trying to look up her foe—instead, she looked more like a brawler, someone who was going to be using her fists to try to simply beat Kimmy into submission or unconsciousness. If her strategy did prove to be that one-dimensional, Kimmy would have the advantage.

Kimmy finished shaking out her arms and legs and grabbed onto the ropes to stretch her body out once more. Her muscles felt warm and loose, ready to move. After dozens of matches, formal and informal, back home, and after her first match on the big-time stage here in Japan against Valley Doll, Kimmy had gotten her pre-fight preparations down to an exact, precise routine. Now that the two fighters were ready, the crowd was obviously starting to get fired up, chanting and yelling as the AFW staff members ringside made certain that everything was in its proper place and that the match was good to go. As they finished up with that, Kimmy would watch as her opponent drifted out of her corner and towards the center of the ring. Kimmy would hang back for a moment, then take a few steps forward herself, leaving some space between her and the Japanese girl, but bringing them close enough to communicate again.

Ayaka seemed to be the sort of girl who loved to talk smack, as she immediately started proclaiming her inevitable victory. She wasn't quite as bad as some of the girls Kimmy had met back home—and was certainly better than some of the more notorious bad girls on the AFW roster—but she still succeeded in raising the hackles of the less-than-serene Kimmy. "Heh. That's funny. You can try whatever sort of crap you want, but it's not going to work for you at all," she would reply. "Just do your worst, and then sit back and relax while I beat the shit out of you!"

She would crack her knuckles and bend her knees, getting down into a grappling position as the referee girl signalled and the bell was rung. "Shouldn't take long!" Kimmy would add sharply after the bell rang, as she would begin to circle around Ayaka, watching the girl's arms like a hawk, waiting to counter a first strike or, if the Japanese fighter hesitated, to go on the offensive herself.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by jakeb1993 Wed Sep 23, 2015 9:47 pm

Ayaka kept observing the female intensively while she came forward. While Ayaka had the height advantage, it seemed that her opponent had the technical advantage. She had already chosen and gotten into her stance before Ayaka even had a chance to consider what stance she would use. The fact that Ayaka had no previous wrestling experience was starting to show. The fact she hadn't instinctively gotten into a stance said a lot really.

When the bell finally rang, Ayaka went into the only stance she knew, her street fighting stance. It was quite crude, but it was generally effective and had served her well in her previous street fights. Observing Kimmy, Ayaka noticed she was starting to circle her. Since Kimmy started first, Ayaka had little choice but to stay still and keep rotating around to face her. She had a feeling she knew what was going to happen: Ayaka would attempt a swing and Kimmy would counter. She couldn't let that happen though. She had to score the first hit in a way Kimmy would not expect, even if she was moving and on her toes. No pressure then. In an attempt to claim the upper hand, Ayaka decided to take a risky move; she was currently standing there with her hands up, a cheap boxing stance almost. This would mean that hopefully Kimmy would be focused on her arms and hopefully be distracted from where her legs were.

From nowhere, in a sudden burst of energy and anger mixed into one, Kimmy lashed out, kicking out with her left leg to try and kick into the lower left leg of Kimmy, hoping two things would happen: Firstly, to was unexpected. And secondly, it would set her up for the next strike. If she was lucky and it did hit and it dazed enough, Ayala would press the advantage by doing what she would of preferred to do, throwing her right arm forward in a jabbing motion right into Kimmy's face.

"How do you like that huh? Hurts doesn't it? Well get used to it!" Ayaka grinned almost mercilessly. It felt good to punch and kick people and causing them pain. Bought back alot of memories from when she was fighting on the street.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by Daaharu Fri Sep 25, 2015 7:36 am

Kimmy was analyzing and strategizing as she circled around her opponent. Rather than trying to join in on the circling, Ayaka seemed content to just stand in place and twirl around to keep her front facing towards the moving Brooklynite. Kimmy smirked. It looked kind of funny, and was not the strategy that she would use were she in Ayaka's shoes right now. Ayaka did have her fists up, seemingly ready for a brawl, and Kimmy reminded herself to watch out for any underhanded tactics from her seemingly street-smart foe.

Kimmy watched Ayaka's fists in particular, but she was paying attention to her opponent's whole body, as she waited to see what Ayaka would do. Kimmy was just about at the point where she was ready to commit to an attack of her own when Ayaka attacked first, surging forward with a sudden burst of surprising speed and sweeping her left leg forwards with a hard kick aimed for Kimmy's ankles. Kimmy slid her right leg out of the way, assuming it was the target, but Ayaka's foot took a somewhat awkward and unexpected path before it ran right into Kimmy's left leg. Kimmy would exhale in a sharp hiss, her leg bending as she would bend downwards, immediately bringing up her arms to cover her face.

Ayaka's fist almost immediately smashed into Kimmy's arms, almost definitely leaving a bruise just a few inches below the wrist. Kimmy would move down lower, using her shorter height to her advantage as well as she would prepare her counterattack, while at the same time hearing Ayaka start to taunt her and feeling her ears turning red. Kimmy would try to use her shorter height to her advantage as she bent low, then would throw her whole body forward, suddenly bringing her arms out to try to wrap them around Ayaka as she would try to spear the purple-haired brawler down to the canvas. Kimmy figured that the best way to beat Ayaka was to put her in situations that she was uncomfortable with: ones where she would have to wrestle, rather than punch and kick.

If Kimmy could spear her opponent down to the canvas and get on top of her right now, she might be able to force Ayaka into just such a situation. "You've got nothin', bitch!" Kimmy would shout as she made her move.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by jakeb1993 Fri Sep 25, 2015 6:34 pm

Ayaka got her own way. But in another way she did not. She managed to score the hits that she was wanted against Kimmy, they just weren't as effective or as powerful as she had originally wanted. The damage against the ankle would hopefully bite Kimmy in the butt later, but for now Ayaka just had to deal with it. It seemed that Kimmy was determined to attack too, not giving Ayaka any time to prepare as she lunched forward, spearing Ayaka in the stomach. The force of the spear was enough to win Ayaka slightly, air escaping her lungs as she fell backwards and quickly went slamming into the canvas.

Hitting the mat, Ayaka was expecting a rapid follow up attack, but it seemed that nothing was going to happen too soon. It at least gave Ayaka a bit of time to assess the situation. Fighting on the ground had never been her forte. Sure, in some of her street fights in he past she had to fight on the floor, but she much rather preferred fighting while standing. Ground fights were always more lethal. With Kimmy on top of her, she had limited options. Ayaka would of preferred some extra time to think about what she could do, but decided to act rather than try and give Kimmy enough time to think/attack too.

Ayaka's attack came in the form of a nasty hook, aimed with her right fist, swinging around Kimmy to smack into the back of Kimmy's head. The punch itself would hurt. Not much but a little bit. The key with this punch however was hopefully to disorientate Kimmy. If it worked, Ayaka would spin around, turning the tables and forcing Kimmy onto the canvas with Ayaka on top. From here, Ayaka had a much more advantageous position. Trying to ensure that she stayed ontop Ayaka would lift her body up, propping herself with her left arm, using her right arm she would aim for a gut punch, trying to show Kimmy what it was like to be winded.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by Daaharu Sat Sep 26, 2015 9:29 pm

Kimmy had sustained damage, especially to her ankle, and she was really worried that that was going to impair her as the match wore on. She already felt pangs of pain in her ankle as she bent down and sprang forward to spear herself headfirst into Ayaka, the top of her skull smacking into her opponent's toned abs as Kimmy would then let her head slide up as she tackled Ayaka down. Quickly, Kimmy would move to get on top of the purple-haired Japanese girl, straddling the girl's stomach, sitting on top of her with her hands still on the sides of Ayaka's body.

Kimmy prepared to wail on Ayaka, but Ayaka's fist slammed into the side of Kimmy's head, and, in a burst of power, the purple-haired fighter managed to turn the two of them over so that she was on top. Kimmy was only disoriented for a second, but she was frustrated for quite a bit longer. Her head rang, and Kimmy would wince a little as she heard that high, warbling note only slowly begin to fade away from her mind. Before it had disappeared completely, Ayaka attacked again. She lifted herself up and slammed her fist down into Kimmy's bare belly. The New Yorker's face would scrunch up and she made a half-squawking sound of pain and breathlessness as the air hissed out of her.

This girl seemed to love punching and kicking. The last time Kimmy had fought someone with this much of a fixation on strikes, it had been a nasty little girl from Secaucus, New Jersey in what had been only her third match for New York Female Wrestling. Kimmy had a bloody nose and a score of bruises after the fight, but she had won that one. And she was going to win this one, too, both by playing Ayaka's game and by elevating herself to another level that her foe had no hope of reaching.

If Ayaka wanted to play tit for tat with gut blows, Kimmy was game. Both of their stomachs were bare in their wrestling attire, and were easily reachable. With Ayaka lifting herself up, Kimmy had an opening, too. She took a deep breath to try to get some extra strength, then raised her knee up fast, trying to slam the knee into the other fighter's lower stomach. Then, Kimmy would put her fists up above her face, and let loose with a quick jab aimed right for Ayaka's nose, hoping that she could dizzy her opponent in retaliation, and maybe force her to get off.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by jakeb1993 Sat Sep 26, 2015 10:09 pm

Ayaka seemed to be having a run of good luck so far. That had to end eventually. And end it did. While Ayaka had managed to repeatedly hit Kimmy, it now seemed that Kimmy was now equally determined to hit her. Just after managing to hit Kimmy in the gut, it seemed that Kimmy was all to eager to return the favour, bringing her knee up and smashing it into her abs. Her face nearly went red from the pain that she was experiencing, and how much Ayaka was trying to suppress herself from yelling out loud. Kimmy might of been small, but it sure did seem as if she had more than enough power in her.

The knee to the stomach had an unintended side effect; Since Ayaka was propping herself up with just one arm, the surprise of the hit caused her arm to collapse under pressure, sending her crashing down on top of Kimmy. As if things could not get worse for Ayaka, Kimmy decided to throw a punch to her nose as she was falling down. The punch hit the nose with almost brutal efficient and effect. Her head snapped back as the punch hit, her body still falling, causing the effect to get amplified. For the first second after the punch, the one second where Ayaka now lay on top of Kimmy, Ayaka thought he nose had been broken. She had felt a small amount of warm liquid leave her nose on impact, and indeed it did seem like Kimmy had some splotches of blood on her nose, and that one splotch had landed on the canvas.

Almost writhing in pain, Ayaka needed to escape. She knew it was dangerous being in a situation like this. She would roll of Kimmy and roll once more to the left, getting herself to the ropes. She needed to take this match back to her familiar setting, so grabbing onto the rope she began to lift herself back up onto her feet. While Ayaka was tempted to try and go and stomp on Kimmy before she got up, she knew that attempting a brutal attack now was going to backfire, for now she had to focus and increase her guard. Wiping her nose with her arm, she inspected the small red speckles on her arm.

"Bitch!" She cried as she let go of the rope and got herself into a defensive stance against the ropes.

Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut! Empty Re: Ayaka Kurata Vs Kimmy Colton - Ayaka's Debut!

Post by Daaharu Sun Sep 27, 2015 12:30 am

Kimmy's knee slammed into Ayaka's gut, and she felt the satisfying feeling of the girl's belly partially molding around her bony joint before bouncing the knee backwards and resuming its usually shape. She could practically feel her knee distend Ayaka's stomach and force the air out of her lungs. But even out of breath, the Japanese girl was some kind of fighter. Obviously, she had had plenty of experience with street fights, fights that might have even been for her very survival. She kept flailing and made things generally difficult for Kimmy.

But Kimmy was experienced, too, in all sorts of fights, and she managed to aim her punch just right to nail Ayaka right in her cute little nose. The cartilage briefly buckled underneath Kimmy's knuckles, and the Brooklynite thought that she could hear some very faint sound upon impact. Whether that was her imagination or not, she couldn't be certain, but she had definitely done some damage to Ayaka. She became certain of that when she saw a glistening droplet of red form in one of the girl's nostrils, and then, after hanging there for a long second, succumb to gravity and drop down, landing on her own nose. Several more droplets soon followed before Kimmy shoved hard on Ayaka's shoulder, and Ayaka rolled herself off.

"Ugh!" Kimmy would grunt in annoyance, as she would rub at Ayaka's blood with the side of her arm, getting most of it off but leaving a red smear on both her upper lip and on her arm. She and Ayaka were matching in terms of blood smears, but Kimmy still managed a little smirk, knowing that her opponent was definitely in the worse off position. All of it was her blood, after all. "I thought you were some sort of street fighter, y'know, a big badass! How come you bleed so easily?"

Kimmy would immediately shove up onto her feet once Ayaka was off of her, while Ayaka grabbed onto the ropes and pulled herself up, as well. Kimmy would take a deep breath, but after that wasted no time in marching forward, arms outstretched, as if trying to grapple with her opponent. But that wasn't Kimmy's plan. She kept her arms out as long as possible, hoping that Ayaka would reach for them, but, when she was close enough, Kimmy would suddenly move her arms inwards, trying to first grab onto Ayaka's hair and then turn around and give the girl's purple mane a hard yank, intending to pull Ayaka up and over her shoulder and slam her down onto the canvas with a hair mare!
