Deathbird only smiled a little when she was told she was a veteran and got punched lightly on the arm. But then she replied, "I know, but that only covers so much of who I really am...I'm alone and I always let my anger speak for myself...thus making me more lonesome." She would curl into a ball and rest her head on her knees to hide her soft sobbing.

"That shows that you still have fight in you if you aren't willing to just let worries and the past steamroll you." Xuan reminded.She saw that Deathbird did smile,which also meant that's she wasn't gone yet. "L-Listen..." Xuan paused,before offering: "Is there anything I can do to make you feel better? Really,I'll do whatever it takes..."

Deathbird sniffed as she rubbed her ready eyes more before making a suggestion. "Umm...can you just...stay and talk to me for a little while. I rarely talked with anyone else about my problems."

"Sure.I can stay as long as you'd like.I don't have very much going on anyway." Xuan admitted to the vetran.She untied her black combat boots and layed down on the bench,with her head by Deathbird's legs.Her dark purple socks matched her hair closely.

She put one leg on top of the other and bounced it up and down to get comfortable. "To be honest,I haven't really talked to too many people since...You know." She sighs a bit and looked up at her. "So...Let's talk."

Deathbird smirked when she can see Xuan's socks match the color of her hair. Ironically, when she took her own boots off, her own socks matched Xuan's hair. "Yeah, me neither." As soon as they were both relaxed, Deathbird would ask, "So, Xuan, what got you interested in AFW?"

"Well,at first and mostly...The Voice kept beckoning for me to go.It told me I would get stronger,but watching some of the stuff online...I was a bit shy to it.The Voice eventually persuaded me." Xuan explained.

She saw Deathbird's socks and blushed. "Heh....Uh,n-nice socks..."

Deathbird giggled a little before saying, "Thanks, you too." But she cleared her throat as she added, "Well, for me, since I already got used to fighting in the streets, I wanted a little change of pace. I thought AFW can fit that."

She noded to the sense that made.If someone was already fighting,why not get recongnized for it? What's more,the AFW was definitely the place to do it,that's for sure.

"Hey,Deathbird? I....I should apologize for uh,fondling you earlier.Thast not how I was taught.It wasn't right of me,s-so..Sorry" Xuan apologized with an honest tone in her voice.She was still racking her mind for answers.

"Hmm?" Deathbird would look to Xuan as she heard her apologizing for fondling her earlier. Though she still felt irritated, she knw that it wasn't meant on purpose. She smiled as she hugged Xuan's head close to her and said, "It's okay, Xuan. I know how much you wanted to win your debut match. Just do whatever it takes and at any cost."

Xuan blushes when she was hugged. "Um....R-Right.But,I should still apologize.I didn't know that you would try to teach me the right way,though." She looked up from her laying position. "It was,nice....In a way" She quickly added,feeling embatrassed.But,she was okay enough with her to still say that.
