Jay vs. Volcanica (for IndigoDragon)

A new match has yet to begin in the Tension ring. A veteran is about to go up against a rookie. And for the rookie, this match can make or break him.

Suddenly, “Faint” by Linkin Park started to play as four lights appeared and started to circle the arena. When they hit the center, a massive fire erupted at the start of the heavy metal guitar. Once the fire died down, there stood a girl wearing a dark red sleeveless jacket with collars covering her nose and mouth, black fingerless gloves, dark red pants and boots, and flaming hair.

She started to street dance as the first verse started out, but before the chorus came in, she jumped and pointed at one side and one fire erupted (not harming the audience though mind you). The same happened as she pointed to the other side. She then began to do a cartwheel and three flips while heading to the arena, and every time she landed more fire burst out. Then she back flipped to the top rope, keeping her balance, and finally did a double axle into the ring.

Her hand also caught on fire but she sucked it up surprisingly and blew out smoke into her hand before the fires died out. She looked at Nico with fire in her eyes and pure determination on her face.

An entrance such as that,with great energy and music that would pump up anyone for a fight made the next song that played....Well,weak.Though it was a softer song,the lyrics described Jay's life as close as possible.It at least spoke words that he could not.How his life was like the planet's rotation,slightly off

Jay stepped out when the words began to come.His lion tail swayed back and forth a bit.He looked out at the crowd,and around the arena.His face was blank.Showing emotion before a match was weakness to him.When the drum beats stopped,and words calmed,J stepped into the ring and waited for the song to end.

What the rookie did next before the bell was his own customary.He hugged his opponent and assured them: "Im willing to understand you,If you're willing to understand me." Jay stepped back and moved back to his corner.

Volcanica saw the boy come out and his physique was very impressive. Yet, he seemed emotionless as if something was bothering him. She was quite surprised when he hugged her though.

This prompted her to hug back as she said, "I am." Volcanica would get to her own corner to stretch before beginning the match.

Jay closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths.It was good to see somepne actually say that they were ready to understand.Only one other person had said the same words as she did.He opens his eyes and looks at her,still trying not to show any emotion in his words,he spoke. "By the way.My name is Jay Zokaro."

Volcanica turns around as she said, "I'm happy to meet you, Jay. I'm Volcanica and I hope we have a good match." Soon, she would start walking to the center to meet with her opponent.

There was a bit of suprise on Jay's face.No one had been this courteous to him.Normally,they'd push him aay from the hugg and try an attack.But not his opponent,whose name was told to be Volcanica.He shook the suprise off and walked towards her as well.Jay was ready to try his best,and hopefully by the end the two wouuld both understand each other better.

As soon as both competitors took their marks, the bell was sounded and the match can begin. To start off Volcanica raised her arms up in a test of a strength. "Alright, Jay, show me what you got." She invited her opponent over to see how strong he is.

Jay flinched at the bell just a bit.He wasnt really used to all of this 'organized' fighting.But,he did recongnize what Volcanica was doing and did the same. " I shall." He locked his fingers with hers and pushed hard,though not with full streangth.

Once Volcanica felt Jay lock fingers with her, she was prompted to push at equal strength with Jay. "Hmm, you are strong, boy. Let's see how strong you are when we really try." With that, she would try pushing a little harder to gain an advantage.

The two seemed to be at equal power in Jay's mind.But that was a lie. "What?" He asked,focused on controlling the force of push in his hands.Volcanica quickly gained the upper hand.Jay realized this and quickly tried to match her again before she overpowered him. "You want more streangth? I'll show you,then!"
