Dark Angel vs Cassie Elliot

The crowd let out a collective disappointed "awwww" as Dark Angel kicked herself free from Cassie's pin. Cassie couldn't agree more. She hurt everywhere and she was so exhausted she was trembling.

She didn't have a moment to rest, though. Angel snagged her arm and forced her sort of onto her back, and Cassie had to keep working. She got her knees under her and reached in to clasp her hands together palm to palm, positioning her weight so that Angel wouldn't get any ideas about getting revenge with an arm bar of her own. Of course, Cassie wasn't worried about defending that. She'd never get it in a million years.

Angel's attempt to pull Cassie's arm in failed. It was more an action out of rage than rational thinking as it was difficult to pull off such a thing while kicking out of a pin. But it was worth a shot. Even now, though, Angel was getting more and more frustrated. Cassie's reflexes were still perfect despite how vicious Angel's assault had been. She couldn't believe just how tough the girl was. But it was Cassie's dedication to protecting herself that ironically gave Angel some confidence. The way the orange-haired girl just curled into a ball and appeared to be trembling inspired her to keep up the pressure. She had to slip up eventually.

Angel, still holding onto Cassie's arm with one hand, positioned herself above the girl's head. She shifted her body so she was kneeling right in front of Cassie while laying halfway on top of her. Her hands adjusted so she was grabbing onto the girl's attire near her chest for control. Then, without much more warning, Angel kicked her right leg back then let her knee drop forward as she pushed it right into the top of Cassie's head. She'd then repeat it with her left leg and continued. The looseness of her legs meant her knee shots would hit Cassie's shoulder's as well if her aim was a little off.

It seemed like Angel was trying to wrestle her now, but Cassie knew she was safe. She was sure she could beat her opponent in that area as well, she didn't really seem like she was on the wrestling team in high school while Cassie had been around wrestling-proficient people since she was a baby. She held her position and bided her time for Angel to make a move, partly because she didn't have the energy to just go on the attack. She knew she could counter her and end up with the better position, and from there grab something and twist and make her quit.

Her inexperience with this sort of fighting showed, though. She wasn't expecting knees. The first thunked into the back of her head and knocked her flat. The second left her dazed and dizzy. The third, she couldn't tell where it hit but it didn't matter. She tried to pull herself back, out from under Dark Angel, but was in no condition to think about what she was doing.

As ungraceful as the knee shots were, Angel knew just how much they could hurt especially with Cassie's head unprotected. She continued it up until Cassie attempted to back up. It was just the window she was looking for. As the orange haired girl lifted her head up just slightly to back up, Angel with her knees still on the mat suddenly jutted one up aiming directly for the front of Cassie's face. She wanted to give the audience a very, very physical image of the damage she was doing. And a rather bloody nose was the perfect thing to accomplish such a feat, especially if it distracted Cassie even further.

Cassie scrambled back away from Angel and pushed up, picked up her head just in time to catch another knee strike in the face.

"Ahhnn!" She cried out, and face planted on the mat. She was stunned, moving slowly and rolling onto her back while reaching for her nose. The blood was already flowing, her eyes were only half open but enough that she could see that her finger tips came away red.

"Oww..." She moaned. What could she do now?

Cassie's body loosened as Angel's knee struck true. It had hit better than the masked girl thought it could, and Cassie was so stunned and distracted by her nose that she slowly rolled around. Finally, the girl was weakened. Finally, Angel could break the girl. Angel's own blood pumped as she saw Cassie's bloody nose. It was as if it fueled her. Angel jumped roughly onto Cassie's side with her knees and grabbed the girl's wrist tightly with both hands. She yanked it up as if pulling the arm out of its socket.

Then, as she had tried several times throughout the match, Angel shifted her legs up so the back of her thighs were pressed up against Cassie's shoulder and chest with the girl's arm pulled through her legs. She wrenched the girl's arm back against the socket in that dreaded armbar. The very hold that Cassie almost broke Angel's arm with was something the masked girl hated. She had every intention of paying it back to the girl, in a way Cassie didn't even realize yet. Angel continued to loosen and straighten the arm again as if trying to break the arm right off. All the while, the masked girl sounded as if she was growling with rage.

Cassie blinked her eyes repeatedly as if just waking up. She went to use the back of her forearm to mop her messy, sweat soaked hair off of her forehead, but instead Talia grabbed hold of it. Before she knew what was happening her arm was straight, and the shocking pain that came next made her situation horribly clear. She screamed.

"AAAAHA! NO!" She wailed. She cast around for the ropes, but they weren't close. The arm bar was in deep, she couldn't hope to slip it and she certainly wasn't going to muscle her way out. Her eyes welled up with tears of pain and defeat as she frantically slapped the mat with her palm.

"OKAYOKAYOKAYOKAY!"

Angel pulled as hard as she could on Cassie's arm, making sure to keep it straight as she bent it backwards. The girl's screams showed Angel that she finally was causing Cassie all the pain she wanted; all the pain she had felt herself when the orange-haired girl had her in the kimura lock only three months ago. It may had come as a surprise to both the referee, Cass, and even Angel, but as soon as she saw the girl furiously slapping the mat in submission, the masked girl released the girl's arm before doing any further damage. Despite it, though, Angel immediately got to her feet and stood over the grappler. She looked down on her as if threatening her in some way but she didn't say any words.

Finally, Angel bent over and grabbed Cassie's hair to force the girl to look at her. "I'm sorry...did that hurt?"

Cassie gasped and cradled her arm against her chest as she was released. The clang of the bell signified her loss, her failure, and she closed her eyes to mourn the match while she tried her best not to let the pain make her cry. Her arm wasn't broken, but that was the only positive. She was in so much pain she had trouble breathing.

She gasped again when her hair was jerked up, and she looked up at Dark Angel with a soft glare. With her teary eyes, as defeated as she was she just couldn't look threatening. She couldn't manage that when she wasn't beaten to a pulp.

She almost cringed when Angel spoke. She just wanted to get away. "Y-yes..." She said honestly. "I still won." She whispered. "You had to cheat."

Angel couldn't help but laugh at Cassie's defiant statement. Even bleeding, beaten, and broken, she still had enough spirit to talk back at her tormentor. She just smiled and nodded, not using any words to express herself. But the laugh was more of a reflex than anything else. As much as she hated to admit it, the girl's words got to her. And she wasn't about to just let it end like that. Angel dropped down to her butt and pulled Cassie's head and arm between her legs before clamping them down around her neck. The arm she snagged was the same one she had in the armbar and made sure to straighten and bend it back.

The referee tried to break the grip but Angel shoved her away over and over again. In-between shoves, Angel would use her free arm to punch Cassie's unprotected face in the nose over and over again. She didn't even say anything to the girl, she was just too angry and wanted to cause her more pain.
