Rainbows and Roses: Dixie Clemets vs Rainbow Mika

Mika was still reeling from Dixie's quick, brutal and effective gut-punch when she felt Dixie's head squirming in her grip. Grimacing, she tried to hold on, but felt the cowgirl reaching for her hair. For the second time in the match, Mika's scalp burned as Dixie pulled, hard, on her hair, and she cried out loudly, releasing Dixie's head to instead grab for the wrists that her yanking her pigtails.

This, sadly, left her open as her head was yanked down suddenly, her jaw colliding with Dixie's shoulder. Pain shot up her jawline and into her skull as she practically bounced off of the Texan and collapsed onto her back, her legs kicking fitfully as Mika clutched her hurting jaw. "MMMMNNPH!" she cried, her mouth clenched shut as her jaw was now in steady, throbbing pain.

Dixie sat there on the mat for a moment, satisfied at the sound of Mika going down behind her. Only for a moment though, because the Texan was ready to try and finish this and end the match, ready to put Mika away, just like she had done in their first match.

Up to her feet the cowgirl rushed, stumbling around towards Mika's legs once she was up. With a serious, determined look over her face she leaned down, taking a tight hold of each of Mika's legs. Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she then tried to lean back, trying to lift Mika up and over into a catapult, the first part of her Dixie Buster finisher...

"Nnnngh..." Mika moaned as she nursed her hurting jaw. The blow had taken her completely by surprise, just when she had thought she was winning this match. It was her fault, she knew, for counting Dixie out so easily. She should have known that the Texan was tough enough to take her Medulla Lariat like that and keep ticking.

As Mika's legs flailed, one of them was grabbed by Dixie. Alarmed, Mika tried to kick free, but her other leg was quickly snagged as well. Gasping, Mika quickly found herself being pulled up vertically by the Texan, her shoulders and head resting against the mat as her legs were tucked under Dixie's armpits.

And then Dixie fell back. Mika felt a rush of air in her lungs as she went flying head over heels, before slamming, hard, onto her front with an almighty thud. "UGH!" Her generous bosom cushioned most of the blow, but even so, she was sent sprawling sideways, moaning in pain.

Dixie wasn't done after the catapult though, and everyone in the audience knew it, and knew what was coming for Mika. Dixie hopped back as Mika flew overhead, reaching down to grab the Rainbow Warrior's legs as she hit the mat. Trying to waste no time, she went to lift them up, trying to tie up Mika into the Texas cloverleaf portion of her Dixie Buster.

"Remember this, girly?" She called back towards Mika as she lifted her legs, starting to lean back with her hold, if she could get Mika into it.

For a moment, Mika lay on her front, groaning from the impact of being catapulted across the ring like a sack of rocks. Her leg kicked weakly at the mat as she tried to gather the strength and the willpower to stand back up again.

When she felt her legs being grabbed by Dixie, though, and heard the Texan mention a familiar hold, she panicked, remembering the brutal Texas cloverleaf that had forced her to tap out in their last bout. Wide-eyed, Mika began to hastily dig her elbows into the mat and drag her upper body towards the ropes. Pain quickly shot through her back as she was locked into the cloverleaf, but Mika clenched her teeth, biting back a scream as she reached an arm towards the ropes, desperate to grab onto them and break this hold...

Dixie leaned back, as much as she could, as she locked in the cloverleaf portion of her finisher. Sweat rolled down her face, as she tried to put as much pressure onto Mika as she could muster. She was ending this match right here and right now, all she had to do was keep the hold locked in until the Rainbow Warrior couldn't handle it anymore.

But maybe it was Dixie's exhaustion. Maybe it was a momentary lapse of her strength. Whatever it was though, somehow Mika managed to power through the pain, and managed to stretch an arm out, grasping desperately onto the ropes. The mighty Texan didn't notice at first though, too focused on maintaining her hold to realize it. Not even when the referee first got into her face, telling her to let go, did Dixie realize Mika had gotten a hold on the ropes. It wasn't until she heard the referee threatening to disqualify her, did Dixie finally snap out of her focus. Her head whipped around, staring at Mika in surprise and shock, Dixie finally letting her go, stumbling away from the woman. Slowly she turned back to Mika, staring at her harder, wondering if the masked blonde could even stand up now.

After a moment of watching her, Dixie's gaze focused, and carefully she began to circle back towards Mika, a heavy breath accompanying each of her steps...

The moment Dixie let her go, Mika flopped to the mat, breathing hard. Her eyes were shut as she lay on the mat, her body covered in a fine sheen of sweat after having been worked over by Dixie's brutal hold. She had expended a lot of effort to crawl to the ropes and break the cloverleaf, and it was plain to see that she didn't have a lot of energy left.

Her fans began to chant her name and stomp their feet, eager to get their champion up on her feet and fighting again. Mika groaned, and her leg began to kick weakly at the mat as she worked up the energy to move. Until then, however, she remained floored on the mat, vulnerable for whatever else Dixie had in store for her...

Dixie wasn't happy. Few people managed to escape her finisher, and after what she had put Mika through, she could barely believe the woman had managed to get to the ropes and force a break so easily. Still though, Mika was still on the mat, and Dixie was standing, and in the cowgirl's mind, that's what was most important.

Once she reached Mika, she leaned down, grabbing the Rainbow Warrior by her arm, moving to 'help' the woman back up to her feet. Once she had Mika standing, she tightened her grip, going to wildly throw her towards the ropes with an Irish whip. If Mika wasn't going to submit, then Dixie was going to make her regret that decision, the cowgirl decided as she braced herself, waiting for her fellow blonde to rebound back towards her.

For a moment, Mika lay on her front, steadily kicking at the mat to work up the energy to get moving again. Even as her fans cheered and clapped for her to stand back up, however, Mika's arm was grabbed by Dixie, and the Rainbow Warrior was dragged up unsteadily to her feet. Moaning slightly from the lingering back pain left over from the cloverleaf, Mika could only grab weakly at Dixie's wrists as she was pulled up.

That is, until she was whipped, hard towards the ropes. Gasping, Mika's instincts suddenly kicked in. The moment she collided with the ropes, she wrapped one arm around the top rope, steadying herself as her body swayed slightly from the rebound. Huffing, she leaned against the ropes, catching her breath, all the while mindful that Dixie was still in the ring behind her...

Dixie braced herself. She was ready for Mika's rebound, ready to pull off a big enough attack to finally put her masked foe away for good. She watched as Mika hit the ropes, prepared herself for the luchadora's bounce back...

...and remained watching, as Mika suddenly took hold of the ropes, latching on and keeping herself from flying back. Dixie's eyes went wide, the cowgirl barely believing it. Once more, Mika had foiled her plans. Dixie was way past the point of being annoyed at Mika. She was getting flat-out angry now, as somehow her fellow blonde stopped her attacks and assaults, over and over again.

Letting her anger get the best of her, Dixie suddenly let out a loud, frustrated yell, and like a bull charging across a field, she took off running recklessly towards Mika, throwing up one of her arms. At the very least, she hoped she could hit Mika with a hard, stiff clothesline, hoping to knock her opponent right over the ropes and out of the ring!
