Av'12 AFW Title Match

Heather would push off, about to jump before suddenly she felt the grip on her arms, stopping her from doing such a thing. Her face grew pale as she heard Angel's words, her eyes widening as she shook her head. "L-l-let me go!!! What are you fucking crazy!?!?!?" Heather let out, yelling as she ladder quickly tipped over.

It seemed like an eternity as the floor got closer and closer before Heather felt that heavy impact, colliding directly with the steel. The minute she hit, the force of the impact caused her to lose consciousness, knocking her out on the spot. As if her body wasn't already just dying to shut down for a while, the jolt from this hit gave it the last kick it needed as she would immediately be knocked unconscious on impact.

When Angel felt her arms tighten around Heather's, stopping the woman from making an escape, and heard her words, she didn't say anything in response. She simpled closed her eyes, a wide smile on her face as she dropped towards the floor. This match was over, she knew it. There was no way she would be getting up from what was about to happen anytime soon, and honestly, she was glad for it. She was exhausted, tired, completely drained...both physically and emotionally...and wanted nothing more for this long, tiring match to finally be put aside.

When her body finally finished it's drop, slamming hard into the steel of the arena's entrance ramp, her eyes shot back open, for a brief moment. Angel's mouth opened wide, but not a sound came out. The feeling of her body slamming into the hard metal, the shock of pain that suddenly raced through every inch of her...Angel had never felt anything like it before. It was by far the worst pain of her life. Luckily for her though, she only felt the cold shock for a brief moment, before she too fell unconscious, lying mere inches away from Heather's fallen body.

The referee, meanwhile, had been looking on in amazement at the last several minutes of the match from within the ring, scarcely believing that these two women could still be fighting each other. It wasn't until the two of them slammed into the ramp that she finally snapped out of her daze, slipping out of the ring and quickly racing near the two of them. She glanced at Heather first, then back at Angel, then back to Heather, shaking her head in disbelief. After everything that had happened, the match was going to end like this?

Nonetheless, the referee knew she had a job to do. Loudly she began to count the final count of the match, realizing that it was futile and that both girls were out, but still continuing on with the count. "One! Two! Three!..."

Similar to Angel, Heather had received a jolt like nothing she's ever taken before. She's jumped off ladders that size, even jumped off heights even higher, however those were never crashing right onto the steel with no protection whatsoever, not even a body to land on. Heather couldn't take the fall at all, being knocked out immediately, completely unresponsive to the ref-girl's count.

"Four!...Five!..Six!..Seven!" The count would continue, nearing closer and closer to the ten count, receiving no response whatsoever from Heather who would remain there completely sprawled out, her body quite beaten and bruised from the hellacious match that unfortunately looked like it was going to end in quite the disappointing draw.

As the referee hit the next count, the crowd jumped to their feet, fans of both Angel and Heather screaming at the top of their lungs, yelling for one of the two women to get up, to stop what was about to happen. But sadly for them, no such thing would happen. Just like Heather was, Angel was completely out of it, lying on her back with spread arms and legs. If it wasn't for the oh-so-slow rising and falling of her ample chest as she painfully breathed in and out, one might even think she was dead. There was no way she was getting up from that kind of fall at this point, none at all.

"Eight!" The referee continued, shaking her head sadly at what was happening again. "Nine! TEN!" The final count tore itself from her throat, the referee spinning around away from the two women, gesturing wildly at one of the ringside officials to ring the bell. The match was over, and tonight, no one would be going home with the coveted AFW title.

At the ten count, the bell rang, an announcement of a draw playing over the speakers. The crowd boo'd in unison at the call, every single one of them wanting to see a winner, it was what they came here for. The match ending with nobody receiving the gold was quite a devastating blow to each and every one of them spectating the match. Something so big ending in such a way after the two fought so hard, it was very much so a shame.

Soon after, the EMTs would rush out with two stretchers, realizing that neither girl was doing much of any moving around. They would go for them both, Heather groaning just a little unconsciously as she was picked up and placed on a stretcher. They would tend to her as much as they could, securing her on the stretcher before quickly bringing her to the back to be tended to, taken to a hospital if need be for further care. Them all doing the same with Angel if they were able to.

As the two were carried out however, one would notice that the boo's would slowly shift into a gradual applause. The crowd would slowly start into a standing ovation, giving the two female wrestlers the credit they deserved for giving it their all. The two were carried out to a loud applause from the crowd, showing that they all, while disliking the result, respected the two of them highly for what they did.

Angel didn't even issue a groan, as the EMTs lifted her up, placing her carefully onto the stretcher. Wasting no time, they rushed her up the ramp and out of the arena alongside of Heather, the crowd's cheering slowly dying off as the two women vanished from sight.

The match was over, and with no winner, leaving a vacant title and a disappointed audience behind, though it was unlikely that anyone that had watched it would forget the brutal, grueling match between the two wrestlers.
