Emily Nelson vs Tina "the Tempest" Layfield

Falling onto her back after executing that suplex, Emily rolled over onto her front, feeling a little more at ease now that the pressure from the headlock was gone. Pushing herself up to her hands and knees, she saw that Tina was still in front of her in a sitting position, her back turned to her. No more going easy on her, Emily thought to herself. She was going to treat this match a little more seriously now.

Standing up, Emily grabbed at Tina's head from behind to pull her up as well, Once the two of them were both on their feet, Emily would drop low, slide an arm around Tina's head, trapping her head under her arm and arching her body back in a standing dragon sleeper, before kicking at the girl's ankle and dropping backwards to nail her in a reverse brainbuster.

Wmily would be able to wrestle Tina to her feet and apply the dragon sleeper hold. Tina would fight ehr all the way, sweat starting to show on her body. Then Emily would be able to drop Tina with the hold inflciting some damage to her. Tina feel hard to the mat with a thud and twitched a bit as she sold the attack, intending to give the audience a good show of it.

Hearing the thud of Tina's back and head slammiing down into the mat, Emily sat upright, wiping some of the sweat from her brow as she saw Tina rolling on the mat in pain. Figuring that now was as good a time as any to try for a pinfall, Emily dropped down, her own slender body pressing down against Tina's as she hooked one of her opponent's slender legs for the pin.

The referee immediately began the countdown. "ONE..."

Because of the impact of the attack, Emily would be able to get a 2 count on Tina before she kicked out strongly. She was not done with this yet.

Emily felt TIna suddenly kick out sharply, breaking the pinfall. Emily had more or less expected this-- Tina looked tough enough that it would take more than a few slams to bring her down. Taking a deep breath, Emily stood back up, keeping a hold on Tina's leg. It would take a bit to bring this American down, so Emily decided to wear her down a bit.

Stepping one foot down and pressing a booted heel against Tina's other leg, pinning it to the mat, Emily tucked Tina's trapped leg under her armpit and twisted her body to the side, pouring pressure onto the trapped leg at the ankle. "Let me know when ye're done, lass!" she said teasingly to Tina as she started to work her over.

Tina started to thrash about as Emily worked her leg a bit.

She scowled and groaned. If possible she would try to reach up and grab for Emily's head and aim a desperate punch at her face.

Emily was momentarily taken by surprise as Tina's fist slammed across her face, snapping her to the side. "UGH!" Gritting her teeth, she held on to Tina's leg and moved to swing her own leg over it, aiming to rotate Tina onto her front and then sit on her back to execute a boston crab.

Tina intended to fight back. As Emily tried to turn ehr over for the boston crab, Tina swung this way and that to fight against it, attempting to use her leg strength to throw Emily off.

"Tch!" Emily let out a sound of exasperation as Tina thwarted her attempt, making it difficult to roll her over. She had to admit, the new girl was pretty damned stubborn. This match could get interesting.

"Stay bloody still!" she growled, but Tina kicked out hard, forcing Emily to let go to avoid being knocked over. She regained her footing just in time, and moved forward to retaliate with a quick stomp on Tina's midsection.

Tina would be already be on the move. She would roll away from Emily's stomp and perhaps make her way to edge to roll outside if need be.
