Makie Akamatsu vs Yoko Honda (Complete)

For a moment, Makie thrilled at the prospect of outwitting Yoko. This sensation was dashed, however, when Yoko simply caught her leg. Eyes widening, Makie nonetheless reacted as she'd been trained, twisting her body to spin in midair and use her free leg to lash her boot hard across Yoko's face.

As Yoko flashed her toothy grin at Makie, her opponent's other boot would come up hard, smacking her in the face. She released the woman's leg and went stumbling away from her, turning slowly to face her again while reaching up to rub her jaw.

It was Makie's turn to grin a little at Yoko as she saw the way she was rubbing her jaw. Keeping her eyes open for any tricks Yoko might pull, Makie raised her arms, gesturing for a lockup. Given their differences in size and height, however, Makie had other things in mind.

Yoko eyed Makie carefully, then with another grin on her face, she moved right in, accepting the lockup and starting to push back against her opponent.

Makie grunted as she tied up with Yoko, pressing against her so that her head rested on Yoko's shoulder. Moving quickly, she shot a knee up into Yoko's midsection, hoping to stun her. If she was successful, she would try to shift her grip into a side headlock and shoot another knee up into her...

Yoko pressed back against Makie, her grin never once leaving her face. She had been quite eager to face off against the daughter of the Akamatsu family, and watching some of her matches here in AFW had done nothing but stoke that flame. So, when Makie offered the lockup with her, she was more than happy to take it. She had been ready from the beginning to test her strength against Makie, and pushing against her now was only making her more excited...

...and causing her to lower her guard, as well. Makie's knee buried itself into her gut, and Yoko let out a loud cry as the air was forced from her lungs. From there, it was easy for Makie to work her into the headlock, slamming another knee into her and cause her eyes to nearly bug out of the sockets.

"Gotcha," Makie said, squeezing Yoko's head tightly against her small chest. Although a part of her had indeed wanted to lock up with Yoko, the practical part of her said that Yoko was someone she shouldn't be holding back against. Backing up, Makie held her breath and suddenly tilted backwards, hoping to suplex the taller girl down to the mat.

Yoko went down hard from Makie's sudden suplex, hitting the mat and jerking one time. She wouldn't be down for long though, quickly climbing back up to her feet. There was something different about her though, her expression had suddenly hardened. A serious, determined look was in her eyes as she quickly moved back from Makie as she rose, hoping the other girl would get up at the same time as well...

Makie was quick to spring back to her feet, exultant after executing that suplex. The Akamatsu girl would get up before Yoko, but she would keep her distance, watching her opponent as she got back up. The moment Yoko stood back up, Makie would attack, launching a spinning kick at her opponent's face, preparing herself to spin and kick with her other leg if Yoko caught her foot.

Yoko did indeed grab at Makie's kick, letting out a loud tsk at her as she caught it. She wasn't expecting the second kick to come in when she did so, and thus Makie's followup would slam into her and cause her to release her leg, stumbling away from the girl in the process.
