December PPV

Gauntlet match won't work for a PPV, mainly due to how slow some people are to respond. With 10 people, it wouldn't be done by the time the next PPV rolled around.

There's another title match going on right now anyway, that doesn't seem like it'll be done by the time the PPV is here.

With all due respect bob, you're one of a long line of people who have pulled for matches with billions of characters involved. They don't work. I may reference a 4-way tag match that has been going since before the dawn of time. It's hard enough to find TWO people who can post fast enough to finish a thread before it becomes irrelevant, let alone a hundred people each using a hundred characters.

It could be an annual thing, though, have some crazy Christmas time battle royale that starts and ends every Christmas.

Anyway, I'd rather never see anything but a standard singles match, and have them done well and even somewhat succinctly than make valiant attempts at bigger ideas.

3 is probably the limit for people in a match thread unless at least two of them are really really active. Singles and tags (with one person holding both) are fine. But no stipulations like... ladder match Blue? They can be used for bigger pictures and stuff.

NONE. Ladders are too complicated. You can only uses boxes. Regularly shaped boxes.

I did have a feeling that it'd be a bridge too far to call for more than 4 players for a battle royale. A gauntlet match might be a cool idea especially if you want to keep everything in one thread and narrative! At the end of the day unless its a match between the Legion of Doom and the Nasty Boys who remembers tag team or 4+ matches at a PPV! I certainly don't! " title="Very Happy" />

Mm, I don't think we should limit it to just 3-4 matches, personally, now that I've thought about it.

Summer Splash had eight matches and the t-shirt contest, and all but two (plus the contest) of them were finished.

Finished pretty quick, too, by AFW standards.

I think having more matches isn't bad at all, it lets more people get involved with things, and lets people not involved have more options for what they want to read.

yeah, 3-4 matches might be okay I guess, I would say maybe 5-7 would be a decent number, more isn't always better, but I do believe that some people would like to get in on this, also let's say 6 matches, then it's the backstage things, the interviews and etc.

I don't know, I still think the Gauntlet match could be cool and work pretty darn well, if it was done with relatively active members, let's say 6 people, and since Gauntlet matches are one on one matches it wouldn't cause that much confusion and stuff, so I still think it has the merit to be used quite well.

Just saying, as The Queen of Hells said as well, I don't think it would be bad with having a lot of matches, many PPV have quite a good deal of matches, so I think it could be cool with having a but more than just 3-4 matches.

I think for things like this, too, less is more. Maybe 3-4 matches total, one of which for a title, and a bunch of other stuff. Think in terms of it being an actual ppv.
