Bethy Vs. Brandon

(Sorry two days no sleep equals bad typing.)

Brandon grinned he moved one of her legs up off him and suddenly rolled on to his knees she might of had leverage but that was it she hadn't attached the arm bar securely and had given him room to move. Now not only had the pressure of the arm bar been released thanks to his arm turning some what with his body moving he had put himself right at the girls head. HE wondered how much of a pounding to that helmet would be sufficient before she let go, deciding to let that thought go for now he would then begin standing up. Standing up would probably slip his arm out of her grasp or she would hold on which would just end up with her getting hurt.

(Ok, I can understand that Brandon had escaped the move, but you need to re-word everything else. I can't follow what he's doing after)

Watching Brandon stand back up on his feet even while she her hold locked in had suprised her.

"Damn, what the hell is this guy?"

Just when Bethy had began to wonder how tough the competition was getting, it was then she began to realize the dangers that Ronald must've been in. It was a known fact around the house that Ronald couldn't lift up a straw if he tried. Just swallowing the mere idea of Ronald running away to join some wrestling federation she had never heard of had seemed farfetched.
Something had to wrong.

If there was one thing that Bethy was sure of, it was that joining the federation wasn't going to help Ronald come back.
Suddenly, Bethy had relesed her hold and rolled to her feet. Fleeting memories of her more violent days, growing up, began to linger within her mind. Joining a federation like this was most likely going to seduce Bethy into her returning to her old sefl, and abandoning what was most important: her brother.

"So....you wanna win THAT badly eh?"
Bethy smirked over at Brandon. Somehow, the bratty, loud mouthed girl we originaly have known had dissappeared. Bethy's eyes were one of bold character, showing a distinctive look of maturity, gving off a maternal aura to her presence.

"Well, whatever that you're fighting for,I hope it's worthwhile...I need to find someone....someone important to me..."

Brandon chuckled as he looked at the girl so she actually had a reason to fight some what surprising due to how she had been acting but then again it wasn't like people were totally hopeless. He sighed he would actually have to become some what serious now that her demeanor had changed hopefully she still wouldn't be fighting like that kid. "I'm fighting for my own reason just know it is worth while now lets go ahead and continue." Brandon looked at her his eyes were completely calm now, he wasn't one to stay angry.

"Hold on, pal! Don't be so hasty!"

Bethy held one hand infront of him while she stood erect, and firmly to the ground. Without taking her eyes off of her opponent, she reaches behind her, deep in her back pants pocket, and pulled out a mask, similar to HooverMan's.

"Lemme ask you a question....seen anyone wearing this?"
She asks while holding up HooverMan's mask, slightly annoyed with Brandon's brash attitude.

"No one willingly wearing it but now that you mention it a new guy did join the roster and if I'm not mistaken I heard he was on the mat someone and that he was wearing a mask probably him." He looked at her curiously before cracking a smile "let me guess your brother."

"No. He isn't"

Bethy casually stuffs the mask back in her back pocket, and turns away from Brandon.
"So this is what you wrestlers fight for? Yourselves?....One thing I've learned is that their are greater things out there than pride or glory....."

Bethy's words began to trail off into a faint whipser


"Still, ...if you want....you can have your match...I have another purpose that needs tending"

As she begins to walk towards the end of the ropes, she looks back at Bradon once more.

"I don't expect you selfish wrestlers to understand..."

Brandon sighed looking at her "your more stupid than that costume suggests you know that? So caught up in your cause have you even once thought about what other people are doing here? Fair there are those who do it for themselves, those who do it just to have their glory but then again whats wrong with that if it is their goal then let them have it who knows might actually make them happy. Some do it for the crowd so they can have a good time and enjoy a good match and maybe for a brief time forget about their hectic life. Maybe we do it because we just enjoy it or we do it to get stronger so we don't have to depend on other people." He chuckled "but then again I guess us selfish wrestlers would never think that much in to it judging by your standards of us." HE then leaned against the ropes "doubt she even listened" he muttered to himself.

Without turning around to face Brandon, Bethy stopped in her tracks.

"The difference beween me and them is that I'm doing it for another life......"

After a brief pause to recollelct her thoughs, she continues again.

"You still haven't told me the reasons to why you're here. Prove to me that you're not as shallow as I think..."
