Visiting a defeated opponent....

Emerald merely kept quiet under the blanket. Not bothering to acknowledge her.

Linear sighed as he walked forth and placed his arms over her shoulder. "White Feather, why don't you leave for a second, let me talk to her for a moment, I'll call you in a second." He asked.

White Feather sniffed and nodded. "Alright, please take care of her." With that, she would get out the door, run to the bathroom, and headed straight to the sink. She placed her hands firmly on it and started to cry. Luckily no one else was in there.

Meanwhile, Songbird would listen carefully as Linear talked with Emerald.

"Emerald, I'm not my sister, but I can say something for her." Linear sighed. "Lalya didn't didn't mean too beat you to that extend. My sister experienced the same thing as you did, White Feather had beatened and broken my sister in front of thousands." He continued.

She simply sniffed underneathed the blanket.

"And anyway, don't you think you should give her another chance? I mean I told you what type of person me and Aerial was, but you still accepted us, so why not give Layla another chance?" He asked.

Songbird said, "He's right. Leila still forgave Layla (White Feather) for eveything and they're still friends now. She is a very kind person really, it's just not natural for her to go and get people hurt and humiliated at the same time. She wants another chance, Emerald. Please..."

Meanwhile, White Feather would wash her face and tried to wipe the tears from her eyes.

"I--I don't believe you..." Emerald sobbed from within the blankets.

Linear sighed at her remark. "Songbird, you better leave for a second. wait outside for a moment or so until I tell you it''s safe to come in." He requested.

He had an idea about what to do to convince Emerald, but he wanted some space to do so.

Songbird nodded and headed out to find White Feather. She was still in the bathroom and she was wiping away her tears with some sheets of toilet paper.

"Layla, are you alright?"

White Feather shook her head and sniffed. "She hates me, Alice. I tried to help, but it wasn't good enough. I don't know what to do!"

Songbird hugged White Feather in an effort to reassure her. "It's okay, Layla...it's okay. We'll find a way to help Emerald, I promise that."

"*sniff* Alright." With that, they both headed to the outside of Emerald's room, but they would secretly watch from the window as Linear talked with Emerald.

Though they were watching, Linear had already closed the door and locked the window so they couldn't hear anything.

Once then, he slowly made his way to Emerald still hiding in the blankets using his cane as a support.

"Emerald, just let me talk to you for a second." He requested as he sat down on the bed next to her.

From outside, the two could only watch as he talked to her, but was unable to hear anything.

As the two sat down against the wall, White Feather asked Songbird, "Alice, do you think she'll ever be my friend."

Songbird smiled at her and responded, "Of course, Layla! Even though she has beaten me, we became the best of friends and I was quite surprised when she too shared the same feeling of helping others despite their losses."

"Really?"

"Yeah, and I believe that you'll soon help her out too."

"But how? What can I do?"

"Oh, you know what we do best in our group." Songbird raised an eyebrow and White Feather got it. She knew what she'll do next.

After several more moments, of silent talking, Linear finally managed to convince Emerald to release the blanket and show herself.

He let loose a smile as he walked out the room and looked at them.

"okay, you can go in, but remember, she's still afraid so don't do anything stupid." He said. "Oh and she's afraid of Layla, so don't speak so loud or suddenly, greet her softly and don't suddenly apologize." He told them.

"Just greet her softly?" asked White Feather softly so Emerald won't hear as she and Songbird would enter the room. "But when exactly can I apologize to her?"
