Posting Stories

Kate Pilgrim (also Kate Kinsley now) is really on and off.... if i get one or two days when i can spare a lot of time and really get into it, i think i can finish the first big chapter (containing the fights between the first two evil exes; Patty the goth sorceress and Lucca the super strong porn star). It's been different because for one thing, me and Tatiyana have been working a lot on GQS and almost ready to start getting the pages drawn up

also, Kate Kinsley's really becoming its own thing. It's defenitely a knock-off/parody of Scott Pilgrim, but I kept twisting it to be legally different and interesting on its own. That developed its own sense of humor and a lot of lesbian characters, and Kate was made out to be kind of a drunk and a slut and a barroom brawler before the story starts, so there's a decent part of her dealing with that too. She's feeling obligated to improve herself and forget her past, even though Ryan's telling her she doesn't have to. There's a lot of angles on homosexuality too, since there are a LOT in the story, which are largely silly but there's cute couples and hateful ones and it gets a little bleak at one point, if it goes as planned

So obviously there's a lot to it to consider, on my end, and I have to remind myself sometimes to keep it sexy/fighty as well as comical. It's defenitely something i want to finish, though whether i can clean it up enough to try and get it published (considering my gf just read a book from Barnes and Nobles about women being turned into zombies that love to fuck everything, i wouldn't have to clean it up much) or just stick it up on the web, we'll see
