I really feel that the last good wrestling game was No Mercy for N64. The CAW might have been simple compared to SvR series on later consoles but it was much simpler to sue and didn't have the OhmyfuckingGodshootmeintheballsrightnow load time.

I never understood the nostalgia for the N64 games. They were great fun but it isn't like the SVR series or Rumble Roses aren't solid products.

Plus, Def Jam Vendetta (Don't laugh) is pretty much those N64 wrestling games reskinned. Same controls, same production team, everything.

Also helps that they went a more brawler route with FFNY and that was one of my fighters on the consoles.

I dont see why you cant do something with a chic wrestler than a dude wrestler. It makes me kinda mad and i think it's sexist (cause it is sexist dipshit). lol.

I presume its set like that so as not to promote violence against women. Worried that after the influence of the game, some guy will go grab his girlfriend and DDT her into the floor or something. If the guy was to do the same thing to his mate, it doesn't matter so much because they are male.

Seems I want this game for cheap frills (fem v fem matches), I'm not willing to pay more then Â£10 on it ($15, US dollars that is).. This means that I might as well purchase SvR 2010, cause I'm not gonna be willing to pay full price for the new SvR 2011 game (particularly when I just want it for the Divas, 10% of the game).

Oh I was being sarcastic there... but thats what it seems the SvR series are suggesting by allowing us to play a male beating another male till they bleed and put them in coffins, but then at the same time prevent us fighting a girl with a guy character.

The equivalent would be if in GTA4 you could beat a guy to death, steal his car, mow down 5 guys in the street... But as soon as you hit a girl, your car crumples like its been made out of coke can's and just hit a brick wall cause ITS BAD TO HURT WOMEN AND GTA4 IN NO WAY PROMOTES VIOLENCE TOWARDS WOMEN!

If you're gonna produce a game which has a primary objective of beating another person down until they can not get up from a pin... You CAN NOT listen to all them people who say that video game causes people to do violent things, cause if you do you might as well not make the game... It's bad to hurt women, but its also bad to hurt men.. So instead of tombstone pile driving John Cena through this wooden table, why don't I just have the Undertaker walk up to him and present him with a bouquet of flowers?!

Well I brought SD v R 2010 on the cheap and tried it out and I'm glad I did... Cause now I don't have to buy another SDvR game ever again. I played it for only a day before the stink of fail had encrusted around my Xbox 360.

Well ok, thats a bit harsh... Some people will find this a good game, it depends on what you want out of it. I'm not interested in the story line mode or wrestle mania parts (MOST of it isn't aimmed for the divas). I seriously just want to get straight into a match with a diva against another diva or male superstar... And I want a smooth, non repeatitive match with nice long submission holds... And this game didn't deliver on that for me

-The camera is slightly more zoomed away from the wrestlers during matches which means less detail (then with SDvR 2007, which was the last in the series that I got)

-sweat appears on divas (haven't checked if this happens on the custom characters too), but it not all that visible

-males can't fight females... This is a big X for me cause I recently got interested in wrestling a male character against a female character... The stupid thing is that you can have a mixed match, but if have the male attack your female opponent, you get DQed... And you can't switch DQs off for this match, so you always have to tag out when ever your opponent tags. I ask you... whats the point? why even bother having a mixed match as a possible match if you're gonna put such a restriction on it?

-In previous versions we've had a visual representation of damaged areas for both opponents... We no longer have that

-iron man matches have been reduced to a max of 30 minutes, also after getting a pin or submission your opponent will suddenly have all the damage you've done to them cured and be able to kick out before the count of 1... This would be a good feature in some cases, but not for me as I like to be able to dominate an opponent in iron man match with quick pins and submissions, theres now nothing quick about it

-The struggle submission system ends up being just as quick as the submissions in previous games (assuming the victim actually struggles)... In addition, the attacker will always end up getting reversed in some fashion when the victim succeeds in breaking the submission
