Personality: A soft-spoken, gentle girl who can often seem out of place in the ring, Cheryl is as kind and as sweet as they come. Something of a big sister to others, she is always willing to be of help and lend aid to anyone who requests it of her, to the point that she can often be taken advantage of. She tends to seek the good in everyone and can trust people a little too swiftly without questioning their intent or nature. She can't really fathom why anyone would do bad deeds, which some who interact with her would consider as naive.

Backstory: With her father dying while she was in her mother's womb, Cheryl was raised single handily by her mother. Her mother juggled raising her daughter and also running her florist shop, which was their sole source of income and had been kept in the family for generations. It wasn't a big earner, but it was enough to put food on the table for the pair of them. But as Cheryl got older, less and less people began to frequent the shop. Her mother did her best to keep things afloat, but was eventually forced to acquire loans just to keep the lights on. Bills began to quickly pile up, and it didn't help that Cheryl's mother was setting money aside for her only daughter to go to university, rather than using it to clear their debt. It seemed selling might be the only option, even though her mother couldn't bear to part with it. Cheryl wanted to help, but their area wasn't exactly booming in terms of business revenue, which meant it was hard to find additional income.

That was until Cheryl came across a flyer for a wrestling match, advertising an open spot. The girl knew nothing of the sport, but saw the money on offer and knew this would be a potential earner. And during her first match, she was promptly trounced. It wasn't even a contest. But she earned her fee, and she was finally able to help contribute to clearing the debt on her mother's shop. And the crowd had been impressed by the newcomer's endurance and determination. She was invited back, earning more and more, while informing her mother she was the PA to a wealthy private businessman as a cover for the funds. The debt was eventually settled to mother and daughter's delight, but Cheryl knew that things would merely repeat themselves if she ceased the sport, so she decided to continue taking part. In fact, she even saw an opening for an overseas wrestling federation that paid extremely well. Telling her mother that she would be accompanying her 'boss' on a business trip, she set off for Japan...
