Jin-Ae (Debut) vs Alizeh Midori - Thy Mission

A soft murmur coursed through the crowd as they waited for the upcoming match to begin- Set to showcase two bright newcomers to AFW, one of which would be making their debut. It's always an exciting prospect to see a new face make their presence known, and everyone was speculating on what the new fighter would be like...

Then the sound of deep, almost cavernous bass notes filled the arena, almost instantly silencing everyone as they turned their attention to the stage.


There stood a stoic looking woman adjusting a black leather glove, a black dress tightly hugging her body. She certainly raised plenty of eyebrows with her striking appearance... Tall yet athletically-built, she had a strange presence about her... An air of danger.


She took one glance around the arena with her tired, yet piercing eyes... Before wordlessly making her way down to the ring, staring ahead with total focus. She slides in and moves to a corner, not taking any time to gloat or acknowledge the crowd- Instead simply beginning to stretch and awaiting her opponent...

Alizhe was feeling pretty pumped up. Making her return to AFW on a ppv was a great way to get back in the swing of things and now she was set to take action once again, this time in a match against an opponent that was actually debuting! It was a great feeling in all honesty and Alizeh was excited to get going. Now given the que that it was time Alizeh would nod excitedly and head through backstage, flashing smiles and fist bumps with the backstage workers, unknowingly putting a lot at ease after her opponent put many on edge.

With the crackle of lightning and riffs of guitar starting up Alizeh would come out from the back, smiling eagerly at the crowd who cheered for the plucky babyface in response. Smiling out Alizeh would jog down the ramp, high fiving some of the fans in the front row as she did so to make up for not doing so at the ppv. Approaching the ring Alizeh would hop up onto the apron and turn around, posing in her lesser used black and purple gear, earning quite a nice pop from the fans before she vaulted over the ropes and walked to the center of the ring, smiling at her opponent and extending her hand for a handshake before the match could begin.

As soon as  Alizeh stepped out, Jin-Ae's gaze snapped to her, watching her like a hawk the entire time she walked down. Her expression didn't change, she didn't make any sort of sound. She just leaned back and stared, her face blank. Her gaze didn't falter even as Alizeh entered the ring- Only shifting as her peppy opponent offered her hand in a friendly gesture. Jin-Ae simply looked down at her palm, not moving a muscle...

Until she lazily wiped it away, refusing to shake.

"Earn it."

Alizeh entered the ring and made eye contact with her older opponent, not totally sure what to make of her at first. She seemed alright enough, if a bit on the dour side, nut nothing too bad in her opinion. Extending her hand for a handshake however Alizeh would blink as it was knocked away, followed by a rather blunt statement. Eyes narrowing Alizeh would nod. "Alright then." Alizeh said in a more serious, down to earth tone than before. Clearly Jin wasn't the upbeat type but that was fine, Alizeh didn't need to vibe with her opponent, she just needed to beat her. Bringing her hands up in grappling position Alizeh bent her knees and prepared herself as she waited for the bell to ring, intending to dart forward and lock up with Jin-Ae as soon as the bell rang!

Jin-Ae didn't assume any sort of stance yet- In fact, she just kept herself against the turnbuckle, gripping the ropes on either side of her tightly. Her eyes narrowed at Alizeh as she raised her hands up, as if she was scrutinizing every minute shift and twitch of her opponent's body... To most people it'd probably come across as creepy, that unfaltering gaze bearing into them as the woman stands like a statue...

Finally, at the ring of the bell, Jin-Ae steps forward- Right into the oncoming rush of Alizeh. For a moment, it seems like she'd be grappled without even a hint of resistance- However, right at the last possible moment, her hands capture Alizeh's arm like a snake trainer catching a feisty cobra, and in a flash the younger rookie found Jin-Ae was behind her, harshly pinning her arm to her back in a hammerlock!

Alizeh raised a eyebrow at Jin-Ae as despite the woman's bold statement she was just leaning against the corner, not saying or doing anything at all, even after the bell rang to officially start the match. Stepping forward as the woman finally approached Alizeh would dart forward and lock up with the woman, fully intent on maintaining control...

Only for the woman to take action at the last possible second! Eyes widening in response Alizeh would only have contact with Jin for a brief moment before the woman came around her suddenly with one of her arms in hand, twisting it behind her back for a hammerlock! "Ngh!" Groaning softly Alizeh would duck low and turn to untwist her arm and get behind Jin-Ae, trying to reverse the hammerlock onto her!

Jin-Ae remained stone-faced even as the action had begun, simply pushing up on Alizeh's arm to maximize the effectiveness of the hold. However, Alizeh managed to duck down and grab hold of Jin-Ae's arm, applying a hammerlock of her own!

The emotionless woman only let out a soft grunt however, otherwise not seeming to pay the hold much mind- She clenched her fists tightly, lowered her head... Then she tried to snake one of her long legs between the rookie's own, attempting to catch one of Alizeh's heels and sweep her off her feet!

Alizeh and Jin-Ae were starting things off technical right out of the gate, fast and furious though you couldn't tell with the expression on the older woman's face given how stone faced it was. But after a brief time in a hammerlock by the woman Alizeh had escaped and turned the tables on her would be captor!

However Jin's duration in the hold would be short lived as the woman would sweep her leg around, taking Alizeh's out from under her, dropping her down to the mat! "Ngh!" Alizeh grunted, but not one to be out done she would pull on Jin-Ae's arm, trying to pull the woman over her with an arm drag and, if successful she would try and throw her legs over the woman's chest before pulling back in an attempt to lock in a arm bar!

"Hah--" The stoic mistress let out a soft breath as Alizeh managed to use the momentum of her fall to her advantage, and dragged Jin-Ae down to the mat! She was quick to try and capitalize, looking to lock in a simple-yet-devastating arm bar- However, Jin-Ae was quick to roll towards her opponent to prevent her arm from being extended, clenching her fist tightly and throwing a stiff shot for the rookie's face!

Technically speaking both Alizeh and Jin-Ae were showing out from the start, each woman showing a display of skill with multiple reversals already happening in the match. Now Alizeh had Jin in arm bar after pulling the woman down over her. Or at least, she would have had a arm bar had Jin not held onto her arm and responded with a punch to the face! "Ugh!" Alizeh cried out in pain as she took the blow and was forced to release Jin's arm... But not before pulling a leg up and shooting it forward to kick Jin-Ae away to keep her from capitalizing.
