Best Foot Forward

Time in the office had been pretty interesting as of late. With Showdown coming up, and each of the doctors and nurses knew what that meant. It was “checkup season,” which popped up both with the literal changing of seasons and again around big PPVs. Wrestlers who had matches on the cards wanted to ensure they were in top shape for their bouts. Those not booked typically either wanted to be ready to dive back into the fold at the next possible TV showing to keep their name fresh in people’s minds, or would just be coming in for follow-ups on injury evaluations to make sure everything was healing properly.

Rizu:

Rizu was just about through with her appointments today. Wrestlers had been coming in and out over the last several hours, and she had just one more to see before she could call it a day and head back home. She was just looking over the patient’s paperwork when an assistant poked her head into the room. “Your next appointment just checked in. Are you ready to see him?”

With a smile Rizu nodded to the woman. “Send him in, please,” she said, eyes moving to scan back over the pages in front of her while the woman walked off to the waiting room. There she looked around until her eyes found the patient before she said, “Tristan Alden? The nurse is ready for you.” And with that she turned to lead the way into Rizu’s office, where the nurse was waiting for him.
