Army was still in the middle of his aftershock fucks when he felt something pressing against his chest, digging into his pecs. He looked up and, sure enough, Hawkeye was standing there, tall and proud over her fallen prey, a wide, gleaming smile, like she’d earned this...because she had. She’d gotten him. Surprised him. Beat him. Yeah, it only took a second, but there was no getting around it. He could even see the replay on the big screen. As if he needed any more proof.

She won. He couldn’t ignore that fact. But he didn’t have to like it.

She extended her arm his way, looking to help him up, and he just stared at it for a moment. A long moment. An uncomfortable moment. When it passed, he huffed, shook his head, and rolled out under the ropes, making his way to the floor without a word. The boos came, predictable enough, but he ignored them as he made his way up the ramp. Hands on hips. Eyes forward.

Armando Rodriguez had a great many things to think about.

That was unexpected. Granted, nobody liked losing, but she hadn't expected Army to flat storm off in such a huff like that. She had taken him to be a better sport than that. Oh well.

For now, she raised her fists up for the crowd to cheer, filled with pride. She had come back, she had faced Army, and she had won. With that, her previous run could finally be put behind her, and she could move on, to whatever new challenges Tension brought her.
