Personality:
Cocky, loud, angry and vulgar are all accurate descriptions of Akane. Her attitude can shift wildly depending on who she is with, being friendly and welcoming to some, or cold and obnoxious to others. The littlest thing can set her off on a tangent
Akane is the type that rarely thinks about consequences and will throw a punch first and ask questions later.  Because of this and her short temper, she puts most of the people around her on edge including her “friends”.

Past/History:

Akane grew up in a small shack in a very bad neighborhood in New York. Surrounded by gangs and drug dealers, she had to mature quickly at a young age. Growing up she fell into a bad crowd, getting into trouble with the law and constantly picking fights with other school mates.  

Eventually she was kicked out of school and spent all her free time with her friends and their illegal activities. One of these friends was a boy named Drake Fond. He was crafty, intelligent, and seemed to do whatever she said. Because of her constant presence and aggressive personality, she quickly fell into a leadership position with her group. She was calling the shots and everybody was going to know it. She would use Drake to get things she couldn’t, legal or otherwise. She started getting into more fights, brawling with other groups and learning how best to take opponents down. Soon, her group had absorbed members from other groups, making what was a few friends that followed her lead into a full gang.

Unfortunately, she was not prepared for leadership on that type of level, and soon her chain of command broke down. Her operations got sloppy, and most of her men were picked up by police or left. After some thinking about where she was in life and not liking where she was, she decided to leave her gang and go straight.

Going straight was not easy. Akane still had a record and her short temper made it difficult to keep any kind of job. If she wasn’t threatening a customer she was yelling at a manager. None of her jobs lasted more than a week. Finally, her former right-hand man, Drake showed her a place where her ill temper was welcome. A wrestling tournament. Drake knew his former boss was tough and that she could more than likely hold her own. He even knew the man running the tournament and could con him into giving Akane a position. He even went as far as to provide a costume. Akane was hesitant at first but accepted. She quickly won the tournament and received a job from Drakes friend. Now she fights whoever challenges her and earns a steady pay check, happy to be living a life free of crime.

 Drake Fond- While Akane and Drake know one another and say they are “friends”, they are closer to acquaintances using each other’s skills. They share a “Quid Pro Quo” relationship, willing to help the other if it gets them something in return.

More often than not, she prefers to be left alone. She will often hang around her apartment lazily.

Akane is a “Tweener” because of her short temper. While She tries her best to stay calm in the ring, she can get angry at the smallest thing and go off.

She has yelled, threatened, and cursed at her boss at her, but he refuses to fire her because Drake has something on him.
