Re: Marc Troyard vs. Felina Rodriguez - Back At It
Was it wrong that Felina didn’t feel all that bad about nearly caving Marc’s face in? Again, he seemed like a nice enough guy. Not cut out for the ring, but nice. He was no Killer King, he wasn’t even a Daisuke. He was just some pretty boy goof who’d stumbled in way over his head.
She’d given him an out. He hadn’t taken the out. After the whole fiasco with Charlie a while back, where she lost a match that she had in the bag because of outside interference, Felina was in no mood to waste a good chance when it was presented to her. So, that meant he was going down.
Down he went, too. The kick practically exploded on his face, and he flopped to the mat like a puppet with cut strings, lifeless and still. At this point, the win was a foregone conclusion, but tradition had its place. So…
Felina grabbed him by the leg, pulled Marc out of the corner, then flopped on his chest for the pinfall. The referee was quick to move into position, and the count began. ”1…!”

Re: Marc Troyard vs. Felina Rodriguez - Back At It
Just laying there from the utter decimation received by Felina, really just outclassed. No doubt about that. Any other chance of a comeback was destroyed by one simple knockout kick. Truly lacking, that is definitely true. But hey, he did do his best.
If that had ment anything.
Dragged out of the corner, Felina went for the pinfall, the ref counting him out. Though with how devastating that kick was, he could count to 20 and still wouldn't get up. He was out Cold. "One!" So the first count went. No movement. "Two!" Second count went. Still no movement.
Third? Well there's no chance of another surprise kickout anytime soon. "Three!"

There. Done. While there was practically zero chance of him kicking out, Felina breathed a sigh of relief all the same, glad she could put a bow on it. One more notch in the win column. Maybe not the most glorious addition, but it probably wouldn’t matter in the long term.
The audience gave a half-hearted cheer when the third count came down, and she was right there with them. She sat up, opened her mouth to chide Marc, then remember that, yeah, he was out like a light. No lectures for today.
She settled for giving him a pat on the cheek. ”Better luck next time.”
With nothing left to do, Felina rolled out of the ring and made her way up the ramp, wondering what she’d be dining on tonight. Maybe that little pizza place down the road from her apartment, with the cute boy who pretended not to look at her every time she came in…

Re: Marc Troyard vs. Felina Rodriguez - Back At It
It was all over. Does he feel shame? Sadness? Well, probably not, since Marc was knocked out cold.
Still hasn't gotten up after the pin count, though it might have saved himself from her chiding. Would have liked the pat on the cheek. Maybe a kiss to help the charming young lad to wake up? Yeah, that was highly unlikely.
Soon after Felina had gone, Marc came to, his eyes opening, though just in squints. The lights were blinding and the headache was really bad. Not that, he remembered his whole body was hurting. So, just laying here doesn't sound like a bad idea at all.
She did say better luck next time. That is if he has a chance. For Marc, it's best for him to start out on the amateur circuit than going professional right off the bat. That's one lecture he will take.
