Katori Kimura vs Moe Fukuoka

Moe had started off the match intending to give Katori all she could handle, but she was off to a disadvantageous start. The Wrestle Angel was living up to her name and proving to be a formidable opponent for the brunette by controlling the match thus far! And that would continue when Miss Kimura would declare that Moe wasn't done being on the defensive. Katori would reach for Moe's head and pull her up to her feet before rucking it under her arm. Katori would go on to showcase her strength, as well as more of her in-ring ability by placing a hand on Fukouka's hip before lifting her into a delayed Vertical Suplex!

The audience roared in approval for Katori as she held Moe overhead for about 3 seconds before falling backwards and slamming her foe onto back-first onto the canvas! "Waugh!!" the green clad wrestler exclaimed as she was Suplexed. While being held overhead, she had knowledge that the Suplex was coming, but that didn't make it any less painful. After being slammed, Moe would use the impact to roll towards the ropes to discourage a pin attempt from her opponent. She would hold the small of her back and try to regroup and think of how she could approach her foe. "You're....strong..." She would say through pained breaths as she tugged on the ropes and pulled herself on to her knees.

A loud thunk echoed around the ring the second Katori came down with Moe in her Vertial Suplex, demonstrating her strength and skill as she slammed the brunette rookie onto the mat hard. Needless to say, the crowd was in cheers of approval thanks to the 3 second delay when Katori held up Moe in the air. Katori sat up soon after, raising her hand to give a V sign with a happy smile to the crowd which earns more cheers for a few seconds before pushing herself to her up to her feet.

Once Katori turned around, she was surprised to see her opponent a ways from her. Either the impact must have really bounced the girl, or she rolled over there during the angel's crowd pleasing. She heard Moe compliment her, to which she smiled at.

"Thank you again." Katori responded, and instead of charging the young rookie, she stood there with a hand on her hip and motioned for Moe to come to her, which is usually seen as a taunt but that isn't her intention here. "Now come on! Show me what you can do!" She said, wanting to encourage Moe to put more effort into taking on the Mighty Successor.

Katori had been taking it to Moe from the onset of the match. Clearly, the lack of experience on Moe's part hadput her at an early disadvantage against the Wrestle Angel. Had she not retreated to the ropes, Kimura might have still been dominating her. Yet, despite how things were going, Moe didn't despair. She had yet to show the Mighty Successor exactly what it was she was capable of. The brunette placed a hand on her knee and forced herself up to her feet just in time to have her opponent beckon her.

With a confident smile and a nod, Moe stretched for a second before raising her arms and approaching her blue haired foe. The green clad wrestler would attempt a quick kick to her foe's midsection. If the kick hit it's mark and forced Katori to double over, she'd follow it up by grabbing her foe's head and raising her knee with the intent to strike it with all she had!

"HYAH!" Moe would cry out as she attempted her moves. If things went her way, the audience would find merit in her striking prowess and rally behind her as she attempted to cover her formidable foe and pin her.

Right after Katori had rallied her opponent to come at her she got back into her fighting stance as she cautiously moved towards Moe when she got back up. Like she said, the angel was interested in what this rookie can do, but of course she isn't gonna willingly let her hit her. Moe had to earn that by finding an opening to hit Katori.

The two wrestlers converged on each other as Moe rose her arms up, and when they got close Katori couldn't react fast enough as her opponent threw a speedy kick at her abdomen. "Oof...!" The blow made her double over and drop her guard, but that wasn't the end of it either. In a quick motion, Moe had grabbed onto the Angel's head then delivered a hard knee to her face! Katori made a loud grunt as she fell backwards onto the mat while covering her face, leaving her wide open.

That quick performance in striking attacks appealed to the crowd as they cheered for Moe, and she moved just as quick to take advantage to pin Katori to follow up on the momentum as the ref-girl came down to count. "H-hey..!"

"One...!"

In that moment Katori would struggle to get her opponent off of her, from bucking her hips to throwing her arms up. Inside she did commend Moe for managing to catch her off guard and pin her, but she isn't gonna show that right now as she wants to focus on breaking the pin.

Moe's quick combination seemed to get her back into the match! After landing a kicks in quick succession, she was able to down her opponent and cover her! With this momentum shift, the audience now convinced that the brunette had a fighting chance against the Wrestle Angel! The cheers for Moe picked up and she pinned her foe and the first count was called! Moe would smile as her opponent exclaimed and the one count was made. But that smile would son be interrupted when Katori bucked her hips upward and broke the pin before the count of two!

More cheers would ensue as Katori showed her resolve! Moe's facial expression would become serious again and she'd attempt to maintain control by popping up to her feet and attempting to come down on Katori's stomach with her knee! If this strike connected, Moe would nod her head in self-approval and say "Alright!" before attempting to press her advantage! She's throw herself on top of her blue haired opponent and attempt a mounted forearm strike to her head!

A breath of relief escape from Katori's mouth when she broke Moe's pin attempt. She had to give the rookie credit for her skill in quick usage of strikes, and her boldness to try and pin her this early on afterwards. The angel's resilience earned more cheers from the audience in favor of her, while she did grin at the appeal, Katori couldn't let that get to her head right now.

She tried to push herself back up as quick as she could, but before she was able to though, Moe already shot to her feet and came back down just as fast with a knee to Katori's abdomen! "Ughh..!!" She clutched her stomach in pain, then was broke out of this when she heard Moe exclaim in excitement then went to straddle the angel. Thinking quickly, Katori raises her arms up vertically to try and block whatever blow her opponent will try to do to her head.
