An unexpected encounter

Shanari headed home after a meeting with the Era of Hell. Despite the damage done to her mind, she seemed able to do anything. She did have it a little cold though, looking up to see numerous clouds gathering, shaking her head from side to side and started to quicken her walking pace.

" Rain... "

Shanari was almost home, she was finally allowed to live on her own again after the few days of spending the nights at one of the leaders for safety.

A noise would come from where Shanari walked. It was barely able to be heard, but clearly meant to be noticed. Its source could not be determined, but with it came a presence, as if someone was watching Shanari closely from the shadows....

Shanari could definitely hear something near her, it was enough to make Shanari decide to lure that prescence out. Shanari stopped walking, leaning down to get a small piece of rock, standing back up and taking a few steps forward while rolling the rock between her fingers, then she'd suddenly turn and throw the rock swift and hard towards the direction the sound came from.

The rock would fly into a nearby alley where it dissapeared into the darkness. It would would a sound when it landed, but other than that, nothing. The faint presence Shanari might have felt was gone, as if it were never there. It was once again just a quiet night.

" .... "

Shanari stood there, watching the dark scenary for awhile before she turned to head home once more, she could already see her house within her view, bringing one hand up when she felt the few droplets of water fall upon her body.

" ..Great. "

As soon as Shanari turned around, someone was standing directly infront of her.

It was uncertain how she had gotten there so quick and so quietly. But then again, many things were uncertain about this woman. Fiery red hair broke through the night, with green eyes piercing through the darkness. Her leather jacket was on as always, over a simple black t-shirt, along with a pair of loose fitting jeans.

Lightning flashed above as Sarah Gatt stood before the girl, a menacing grin gracing her features.

"Hi."

Shanari froze in place when she saw the girl infront of her, immidiatly racognizing her, her own dull, half dead like eyes staring straight into Sarah's when she heard her, it was like a small kid was looking at a large stranger with a coat over him. She however knew what Sarah had done to her, looking away immidiatly with a mild blush on her cheeks.

" .. Hello. "

Sarah tilted her head when Shanari looked away from her, that grin never once leaving her face. It had been nearly a month since her systematic beatdown of the girl, and this wasn't exactly the reaction she had been expecting. She inwardly shrugged.

"You remember me?" she asked, toying with the girl. By now rain had begun to pour, soaking Sarah's hair, but she didn't seem to mind.

" How can I not, you betrayed me, you never even visited me in the hospital. "

The tiny piece of her mind still cluthced on to that small part where Shanari had regarded Sarah as a lover, which was more like an ex right now. When the rain hit her tender skin, goosebumps started to appear. She only wore a small black tanktop and black baggy pants, quickly trying to stap past Sarah.

" Please Excuse me. "

Sarah didn't stop Shanari when she walked past her. It was another reaction she had not expected from the girl. That she would want the person who sent her to the hospital in the first place was something that didn't click with Sarah.

"Of course I didn't," Sarah called over her shoulder. "I'm being hunted by the organization you work for. I couldn't risk it. I also protected you. If they found out about us, they would hurt you too."
