An unexpected encounter

Shanari said nothing, waiting untill the man gave Sarah what she asked and then stepping back from the man, watching the man try to crawl away from them. A sigh came from her, turning her head to stare at Sarah.

" You're no fun love... I was going easy. "

Her hands moved back to her sides, the clawed position they had was gone.

Sarah flipped through the couple of hundred dollar bills the man had in his wallet, as well as the major credit cards. Even if the man did call the cops, what was he going to say? He got the shit kicked out of him by a little girl who caught him peeping?

"Yeah, I know," Sarah replied to Shanari, and through the rain she shot her a grin. "So am I." And as the man tried to crawl away, Sarah stomped on his head, smashing his face into the pavement, bloodying his face and knocking him out instantly. "Can we go inside now?" Sarah asked nonchalantly.

Shanari watched quietly, then turned to head for the spot she had left her keys, now being completely wet. She picked up the keys and quickly headed for her house, unlocking the door and waiting for Sarah to come while she opened the door.

" ..Make yourself at home.. "

Once inside, she turned on the lights, which went from blue, red and then green before turning it to their usual white, heading upstairs to grab a few towls.

Following Shanari inside Sarah popped a question for her. "So what the hell was that about?" she asked as she went in the house. "Cause let me tell you, you're one badass nieghbourhood watch."

" Vermin should not be allowed to see nice things. "

With that she walked upstairs, grabbing a few towls and walking back down to give Sarah two of them, glaring up at her.

" I don't have any clothes that fit you, so here.. You can dry yourself off with these. "

Sarah shrugged at Shanari's response. Personally she didn't care, at least she had gotten a few bucks out of it. When offered the towel Sarah took it without question, drying off her red hair right away. "Thanks," she said when she finished, handing it back to the Russian. "So....how have you been since the fun time we had?"

" I don't recall getting hit in the head numerous times ' fun. '

Shanari clearly remember their match still, heading for the living room and taking a seat on the couch, bringing to towl to her head and started to rub it all over her face and head, which was completely messy when she pulled the towl from her head.

" I was directe to numerous clinics to see if I wasn't suicidal, destructive, emotionally a mess, insane. All that stuff... How about you? "

"Oh, lighten up, it was all in good sport," Sarah chuckled. She took a seat next to Shanari on the couch, staying just out of reach of her for now. Shanari certainly looked different now, she could see that clearly. If she looked inapproachable before she was downright anti-social now.

"Me? Oh, nothing much. I'm thinking of....expanding my horizons a bit these days, but other than that, I'm still kicking ass." She decided to keep out her plans for the Era of Hell for now, no need to make Shanari suspicious. "You don't look insane to me. In fact, you look a little cuter."

" Hmm.. Flattery won't get you anywhere.. B-But it's a start. "

Shanari smiled at Sarah, a darker blush forming on her cheeks, one hand reaching for the remote and took a hold of it, leaning back against the couch and turned the TV on, she suddenly started to shuffle next to Sarah and laid her head down on her shoulder, as if using it as a pillow, handing her the remote.

" Enjoy.. And what kind of expanding, hun? "

Sarah blinked when Shanari rested her head on her shoulder. She was exploring uncharted territory here, but it was neccesary. And she had to admit, it felt kinda....nice to be reliewd upon like this. What the hell's the matter with me?

"Just a bit of branching out," Sarah replied, occationally flipping through the channels on the TV. "But don't worry about that, Shanari. I'm here for you, remember?" Her other hand went behind Shanari's head to stroke her soothingly, smiling sweetly at the Russian as she did so. "You didn't think I forgot about you, did you?"
