Izumi's punch clearly hurt, but it didn't do anything lasting. It was to be expected given the difference in size and build. "Guh!" Feruza's punch, though, had Izumi nearly fall off her opponent. It hurt, but she was still on top of her opponent. Izumi's eyes narrowed at the woman, gritting her teeth in frustration. She sucked in a breath before sending a series of punches for Fezura's face, going for a ground and pound while she still was on top of Feruza.

Thankfully for her, Feruza's forearms were in front of her face, so they absorbed a majority of the punches. However, they still hurt like hell, and would surely leave her forearms looking black and blue for the next few days.

"Ah, ow!" she grunted, wincing slightly at each hit. This girl was determined, to say the very least.

This is getting irritating now. It was somewhat cathartic to be able to swing at her opponent like this, but Izumi wasn't doing damaging to anything but Feruza's arms. She'd wear herself out at this rate, and with an opponent that had a few inches and pounds on her, that wouldn't be good. Okay, try this! She got up off Feruza, moving to her side and attempting to grab her arm to give it a painful twisting.

Feruza was about to retaliate, but her opponent got off of her. "Huh?" she grunted in slight confusion before she realized, clear as day, what was happening. And that realization was very painful.

"AAAA— AAAAaaaAAAAGH!" Feruza shouted in agony as her arm was bent in a way which it should definitely not have been. Her free arm immediately focused all of its efforts on prying Izumi's hand off of her.

Okay, no more Ms. Nice Feruza. Noted.

As her opponent's screams of pain rang out Izumi found herself smiling. Not for sadistic reasons, but because it gratifying to know her technique was working. Feruza was feeling the pressure now, and her desperate attempt at trying force Izumi to let go showed it. Cute. With her opponent's focusing on trying to get Izumi grip off of her she swing her leg for a swift kick aimed at Feruza' stomach.

Feruza's shout was interrupted by a swift kick to the stomach. "Oof!" she wheezed, her hand moving from her arm to her stomach to protectively hold it. Her arm was still in agony, feeling as if it might break. She was trying to pull it away, but that really only made it worse. She tried to take a desparate swing at Izumi with her free hand, as she needed to get out of this hold.

A smile started form on Izumi's lips. If anything, her opponent was taking these hits in stride and wasn't immediately giving up. That was somewhat impressive to say the least. A bit disappointing though. She was hoping for less of a ragdoll for an opponent. "Guh!" Just as Izumi thought this Feruza's sudden strike slammed right into her jaw. "Heh," She smirked. Not bad. She held onto her opponent awhile longer before letting go and staggering back, if anything as a reward for fighting back.

"You can stand now. I've let go."

Feruza breathed a sigh of relief as her arm was let go, and didn't squander the chance she was so graciously given. She sprung to her feet, and wasted no time with a stance of any kind.

As soon as she was on her feet, Feruza swung at her opponent's face with a nasty left hook! "Thank you. Will not waste."

Izumi didn't expect Feruza to stand and retaliate so fast. No sooner did Feruza stand was Izumi hit with a sudden punch to the face. Surprisingly, it held a lot of weight behind it, making her stagger to the side slightly. She could feel the sting of it already. That would definitely leave a bruise. Interesting... She straightened herself up and smiled. This woman is going to be a good opponent. She then lunged forward to tackle her opponent to push her to the ropes.

Feruza had hit, which was a good sign. However, a less good thing was being pushed back into the ropes. "Oof!" Feruza grunted, resting temporarily against the ropes.

She smiled back at Izumi. Both women seemed to have acknowledged that this fight would be a good one, even if it would be painful. The Uzbek woman put her arms up defensively whilst Izumi thought about her next move.
