The New Guy meets SEME!

Shido was taking a few heavy breathes but he seemed to be breathing normally after a moment. "You know Ryuu, you were a lot nicer in Streetfighter." The fan boy would throw in a wisecrack before rising to his feet and readying himself to go again. Fighting two skilled opponents of SME for this long seemed to be taking a toll on him. But Shido was a man built to last and could see himself going a little while longer.

He would approach Ryuu, expecting a strike, ready to catch an arm or a limb to reverse it into some sort of hold to bring the big man down!

Ryuu actually laughed for once when Shido joked about the Street Fighter character being a nicer guy. He hadn't actually heard that one before, most Japanese used his last name and his family used the full 'Ryuunosuke'. Wisecrack or not though, Ryuu wasn't going to pull any punches for the guy.

Shido started things off again by coming towards Ryuu, and he quickly obliged by closing the remaining distance with a single step. He drew back his right arm and telegraphed a swift hook punch. Hoping Shido was going to dodge the opposite direction, Ryuu was hoping to use his swing to get his torso around Shido's side, so that he could reach around Shido's waist and lift him upside down.

Shido would move in, trying to contest Ryuu's raw striking power. He couldn't tell the first punch coming at him was telegraphed on purpose, but he didn't look to dodge it! He wanted to block it and grab the arm to see where he could go from there. Shido would attempt to grab hook and pull Ryuu in, opting to duck and lift the much bigger guy over his shoulders to throw himself and Ryuu backwards and attempt a Samoan drop! Shido was quite strong for his size, but lifting Ryuu would still prove to be a challenge! Still, he was committed to seeing this maneuver through and hoped for the best!

Shido got himself down under Ryuu's guard and center of gravity while he was ducking over his side, giving him a prime position with which to apply his Samoan drop. Very quickly Shido rose into the air with Ryuu over his shoulders, but it wasn't going to be that easy for him.

Ryuu managed to slide his lower half from Shido's grip, landing on his feet behind the guy. Powerful arms wrapped around Shido's torso briefly and he locked his hands together. With a loud grunt Ryuu countered the Samoan drop with a german suplex!

Shido would try a bold maneuver with that Samoan drop, but to no avail! Ryuu would continue to show he had technical prowess instead of just brute strength! There was little Shido could do in response to stop the German Suplex from happening!

"Yikes!" he would say as Ryuu began to hurl Shido backwards! If this suplex was the variation ending in a pin, he'd have no options. But if it was a snap German Suplex or if Ryuu would let Shido go for maximum throwing distance, Shido would react by flipping backwards in midair and landing on all fours to minimize the impact!

Unfortunately for Shido, Ryuu wasn't planning on letting go of him anytime soon. The mat shook with great force as Shido plummeted into it the first time, but even then he was only just getting started. Ryuu quickly rolled them back to sitting, brought them up, and then executed a second german suplex right away!

Ryuu was panting lightly from exertion but he had a solid face of concentration painted on. He now held Shido upside down still in the landing position from the suplex, his own back arched up off the mat.

Hikaru sprung to action once more, leaping out of his chair to slam his palm down on the ringside. ONE!"

"Yup....you were definitely much nicer in Streetfighter. Shido would murmur before before hearing Hikaru call out a two count! Landing on the back of his neck wasn't making him feel like a million bucks, but he grit his teeth and bore with it! Rather than flail or show any obvious resistance, he would pause for a moment and be still. "Yo, Hikaru! He would call him over, despite how silly it looked to do so whilst upside down. "You remember they can only win via submission, right?" He would remind him

"TWO!" Hikaru called out as he continued the count with another slap to the mat. A pin was a pin, it didn't really matter what the rules of the match were, just in this case a pin wouldn't net you a win. "THREE! And the most useless pin award goes to Ryuu the dumbass!" Hikaru finished, taking a few steps backwards and plopping back down in his seat.

Truth be told, Ryuu had forgotten the special match rules here and was now slightly embarrassed by his blunder. Shido wasn't fighting back at the moment, he was probably biding his time and resting. Ryuu needed to come up with something better, make it seem like it was all going according to plan rather than his own mistake. Ryuu relaxed his legs and unbridged his back and then rolled onto his chest, taking Shido with him. He launched himself forward and slammed his chest onto Shido's back in a clean motion, and then worked at getting his arms down beneath Shido's armpits and then lock his hands behind his head. A simple grounded full-nelson ought to give him time to think of something better.

"Yikes, I think I might have to pass on this one! Great technique, though!" Shido would be rolled upright along with his larger opponent and placed in a full nelson! As big a fan as he was of SEME, he wasn't really feeling being put in a full nelson right now.

He would attempt to emulate the first roll that got him there in the first place, trying to roll off his upper back and onto his butt, still staying on the ground, if this covered enough distance, he'd try to hook is foot over the rope!

Shido quickly added another roll after Ryuu clamped on the full nelson, clearly trying to escape before Ryuu could prolong the torment. He inced his foot towards the ropes with every movement, but he wasn't going to have any of that! Ryuu yanked Shido back the other direction onto their sides, and then to their knees.

With the final stretch up to his feet, Ryuu's height would prove a nice advantage as he would begin to lift Shido off the mat. This of course made the hold easier for Shido to escape by sliding down, should he manage to undo Ryuu's grip.
